Plants are good. Cafe is awful. You have to stand in a very long, slow queue behind everyone who is waiting for hot food in order to get you free coffees. I'd rather pay and go elsewhere.

Dobbies Gailey . The shop its self is ok. It’s the restaurant so disorganised the kids would prefer to chat to their friends. They don’t listen to the customers orders,
We went on the 28th on October 2023. Great potion of the restaurant was dolled off for a Halloween thing later that afternoon. So there was no wear for customers to seat. When you found a table and chairs you had to clean it off yourself, when you saw someone cleaning the tables it took him ten minutes to clean three tables. The management was more interested in a family member who had a baby than worrying about the restaurant. The chef said she started early in the morning and she was going to be there until the party. That’s why we call it slow food. Sometimes you can wait a long time. I’m a person who doesn’t like salad with hot food on the same plate. You can’t have chips that’s extra, and the garlic bread doesn’t taste of garlic, some people can’t have bread, but you still have to pay extra. They used to have menu choice but if you lucky you might be able to see a small card with the food on it. Lichfield Dobbies has more choices and is always clean. The staff are very welcoming.

Was disappointed with the restaurant. Could not find a tray firstly hardly had any food left. It was around 2.30 it was very busy there was only 1 lady serving the food felt sorry for her. She kept apologising not her fault. Plates to small for food. Most of empty tables had empty plates on. There were even trays on the floor with crockery on. Needed more staff on

Bought my dog a lovely new harness well made and had a lovely english breakfast in restaurant only complaint it was on a cold plate so by the time i got my cutlery etc it was cold so couldn't eat it all

We went in for breakfast, it was well cooked and the eggs were cooked to order to our liking. The only disappointment was that you couldn't swap the hash brown for an alternative, would have preferred mushrooms.

Staff are always pleasant and helpful and the place is tidy and clean a lot of variety to choose what you would like.

I got a lovely scarf from there. Had a bargain buying a lovely plant in the sale. It is doing well at home see QA

Came into the garden centre to use the cafe with friends for lunch. The system you use in my opinion for getting a drink and a sandwich seemed very chaotic and other people in the queue at the time were in agreement.
You order a sandwich then move along to purchase a drink if you are lucky the staff making the sandwich catch you up to give you your sandwich before you pay.
If this doesn’t happen you pay then have to go back to the end of the queue to collect your sandwich. Which by this time your drinks are going cold.
I’m sure you could run this differently.
To be honest it put us off returning again for lunch.

In the restaurant there are always table's which haven't been cleaned up. Many times myself & many customers have had to move dirty plates etc to get a clean table. There is always a queue for food & if you just want coffee you still have to queue. Need more staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to meet friends and use my Dobbies Club birthday treat voucher in the restaurant. I also had a stroll round the garden centre, and bought a plant and orchid food whilst I was there.

The staff are friendly and food is lovely

Good selection of flowers, plants & a lot of other products & a nice cup of tea at the end..

Great staff really polite and helpful all seem to go above and beyond expectations. Apart from a lady in the restaurant area who may of thought I was hard of hearing to repeat no soup no soup several times

I purchased a plant that sadly didn't thrive I returned it to the garden centre and explained its demise, there were no questions asked and I received a full refund.
I enjoy regular visits to the centre and have become a club plus member, the benefits of becoming one is great I should of done it sooner.
I would highly recommend becoming one.
