We had a brilliant experience using DJ Moore. Dan was very responsive and delivered exactly what we asked for, nothing was too much trouble. He was particularly good at keeping us updated with timescales and progress. Charlie, Harry and Jack worked very hard and the quality of their work was fantastic, they arrived promptly every day and left the site clean and tidy. They were very knowledgeable and reliable. The rest of the team were amazing too and worked very hard to ensure we were delighted with the finished product. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan and his team.

When we started planning our loft conversion we wanted to achieve a high spec conversion with an en-suite and feature windows, so we wanted someone who would really understand what we were trying to achieve and not restrict us to an ‘off the shelf’ product/layout. Of the three companies we approached for quotes, DJ Moore had such a positive ‘can do’ attitude and showed genuine interest and enthusiasm for our plans. To deliver our dormer we needed to drop the ceilings at first floor. We were wary about the mess that this would cause, but Nathan and Jamie did such a fantastic job of tidying up and keeping the rest of the house unaffected. Throughout the entire build the whole team has been a pleasure to work with and they have strived at every turn to make sure that we are 100% happy. We are thrilled with our new space and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DJ Moore to anyone considering a loft conversion.

We are so delighted with our loft extension and garage conversion. It looks absolutely amazing and has transformed our house into our perfect forever home.

Dan and the whole team were brilliant to deal with. They have a really structured and professional approach which gave us great confidence.

We had planned an ambitious double hip to gable loft conversion and Dan and his team rose to the challenge.

We now have 2 additional bedrooms and an ensuite on our new second floor and it looks great.

We also have a new roof with all new tiles and 3 Velux Cabriolet windows which are absolutely brilliant.

We recently had our loft converted by DJ Moore.

We had discussed with several builders and the feedback on the space we could gain wasn’t very reassuring. However, DJ seemed quite positive and arranged a visit for us to a loft on exactly the same type of property. That made it for us.

DJ dealt with nearly everything (from design plans, building permits, etc), hence the whole experience was relatively simple and easy. The loft conversion lasted for about 6 weeks, which was quite good timing considering that we asked for several changes on the go, and the weather was quite poor during that time (i.e. two massive winter storms). The coordination of all the different teams (structure guys, roofers, electrician, plumbers, etc) run very smoothly.

Overall, we are very happy with what we got and the new space fits perfectly our needs.

Brilliant service from the start. Provided good advice on what could and couldn’t be done, oversaw the process of getting development consent and delivered a wonderful loft conversion. We’ve been really well looked after throughout and are so happy with the quality of the work that was done for us. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Dan and the team to anyone looking at getting a loft conversion done.

We had our loft converted by DJ Moore lofts and from the first meeting with Dan he really helped us understand the potential of the space we have. Hearing a number of horror stories around builders we wanted to make sure we made the right choice. Dan and the team took away all the stress of planning permission and approvals as we were having pitched dormers which made the initial process simple. We then had our plans and it was made very clear early on that if we needed any changes or suggestions we could speak with the team to see what was possible. We were due a new child at the same time as starting the work and we didn’t know what to expect but the team were ever so good, great communication about what was going to happen and when and if we had any questions they were more then happy to answer. The whole team were professional, helpful and really made any concerns we had about people working on our house disappear. The loft was completed well within the time frame to an amazing standard. The whole process was very simple and we now have our dream home with the additional space we needed.

From the first time we met Dan we knew that he and the team would look after and oversee our project. We had received quotes from other companies beforehand but Dan’s was by far the most detailed, knowledgeable and comprehensive.

In that first meeting Dan took the time to work out what we wanted from our loft conversion, had ample amounts of previous examples, with photos to show, and was honest about what could be achieved with our space. We knew exactly what to expect right from the outset as each stage of the project was explained in detail.

Dan arranged an architect to come and draw up the plans, which we were given the opportunity to assess and change if we wanted to. The whole planning application process was taken care and work began soon after leaving us stress free. We were kept in the loop at every stage and could make changes where we felt they were needed with no fuss.

The whole team working with Dan was amazing -, they were very respectful of our property, most of the time we didn't know they were there, and they didn't mind our inquisitive 5 year old constantly popping up for a chat! The work was all completed to an exceptional standard and much quicker than estimated. This meant were able to settle into our new space in plenty of time before Christmas.

Would highly recommend the guys at DJ Moore, on first meeting Dan we quickly learned that we could achieve the space we wanted without compromising the rest of our house too much. There was very much a “can do” attitude. From the start of the build the guys we’re all hard working and professional, and nothing we requested was a problem.
The quality of the work is excellent and surpassed our expectations and finished result is great.

After 10 years of talking about a loft conversion, but not really knowing how to go about it, we finally (after getting some recommendations) bit the bullet, gave 3 loft conversion specialists a call and got 3 quotes.

At our first meeting, Daniel was very likeable and explained the whole process to us, answering any question and queries we had. After looking at the DJ Moore website and reading reviews, I was anticipating that this would come back as the highest quote, but this was not the case. The quote was reasonable, easy to understand and any extras were clearly labelled (if we required them). This was true to the word, as the final invoice was not a penny over what we had anticipated-No hidden surprises!

The work was carried out when we expected it and took as long as we were told it would take.

Craig and Lewis arrived on day one and were there every working day until their work was finished. They were friendly, polite, punctual, professional, tidy and considerate of us and our neighbours. Craig kept us updated daily as to what was happening and when I was required to make decisions by (and even gave advice when I couldn't make decisions). The quality of their work was amazing too!

Every other trade after them, Matt the electrician, Rob the plumber, Danny the plasterer, George the carpenter, Nick the tiler and the rest of the team, were so polite and professional and all work was carried out to such a high standard - real attention to detail – such a great team!

Along with the loft, we wanted our roof re-slated, which Dan was more than happy to arrange for us and was carried out by D Haynes roofing. We are so pleased with how this looks!

We wanted built in wardrobes, so after scribbling down a rough picture of what we wanted, George created a beautiful wardrobe/drawers and dressing table area. Once again, we were delighted with the finished product!!

Finally, we wanted help with the decorating, so Dan put us in contact with Ben Michael & Co decorators who did a fab job!

All in all, we have had a great, stress-free experience with DJ Moore Lofts and would not hesitate to recommend (in fact, I already have!). We LOVE our new bedroom and bathroom. Thank you!!

From start to finish we found this company to be absolutely first class.
We arranged for three quotes from loft conversion companies to build us a dormer conversion for a master bedroom and en suite. Dan came round and confirmed the plans we already had were suitable and Dan was helpful, enthusiastic and likeable from the start. We recieved a quote soon afterwards which was competitive and was laid out in such a way that it was easy to understand. Having confirmed we'd like them to do the job we received a welcome pack which was full of useful information and even laid out a plan of what would be done each week. Dan came round for a pre start meeting and explained that the disruption would be kept to a minimum and explained how it would be done - the disruption was one of the fears that we had.
Once the job started we had an excellent and likeable team of three builders who built the dormer construction. Communication was brilliant and we found it amazing that the construction was up and the staircase was in after just over 2 weeks! We also had face to face involvement with the plumber, electrician, carpenter and plasterer and each and every one of them was friendly, trustworthy and polite and it has to be said the standard of the work is absolutely first class!
We were told the job would be completed in 5 to 6 weeks and it was completed in 5, which included changing all of our internal doors! This was one of the 'extras' we added as the build was ongoing. We were told how much things would cost and it was all itemised, accurate and easy to understand on the final invoice.
We are so pleased with the whole job. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan and his team and, in fact, we already have done several times over!

DJ Moore Lofts have been excellent throughout the whole process from initial contact and coming to quote, through to completing the work.

After looking to move around 12 months ago, we soon realised we wanted to stay in our home and make more space. A neighbour had recommended Dan and we were so impressed with the work at our neighbours house, that we didn’t feel the need to shop around or get any other quotes. Dan was really helpful in working with us to accommodate our budget, and he was really upfront and approachable if we had any queries about what we wanted. Dan has great vision and knows his trade very well - from a very vague (on our part!) conversation about what we fancied, Dan has created our dream space.

The team are excellent at what they do and this is evident in how the process is handled. We have been impressed with the ease of the project - we sometimes had to remind ourselves that we were having major work done to the house as everything went so smoothly. From the initial drawings, to planning permission, to the scaffolding going up, materials being delivered etc - it all happened exactly when we were told it would and with minimal disruption to us. The team competing the works were also excellent - Charlie and his team were fantastic at keeping us up to date each day, and they were also great with our children who were often being nosy and getting in their way. Our neighbours fed back to us that the team were the most professional builders they’ve ever come across - polite, incredibly hard working and keeping disruption to a minimum. The tradesmen were also great - the electrician, carpenter, plumber, tiler etc - all lovely guys who done a great job. Throughout the build if we had and issues or questions, Dan was on the end of the phone and happy to help. I think the work was completed in 6 weeks but that was with a 2 week gap whilst we decorated and got the tiler booked in. It’s amazing what the team can achieve in a few short weeks, and watching the space being created was great. We loved going up on to the scaffolding in the early days to see what progress had been made each day - the team were great at keeping us involved throughout.

The finished product has surpassed all expectations - the space we have is incredible, we couldn’t be happier. It’s hard to believe that 12 months ago we had a loft conversion on the ‘to do’ list and thanks to Dan and the team, we’ve achieved it. DJ Moore lofts is a great company, offering excellent value for money and I would recommend them 100%.

My husband and I decided we would like to add another bedroom to our home but weren’t sure where to start.

We have just had our loft conversion completed by Dan and the team, we had Charlie as our project manager and he and the rest of the team kept us updated throughout the whole process, they were very tidy, safety was also there priority as have a young son who likes to explore, always polite and work was completed to the highest standards and was completed ahead of schedule. Dan was always on hand to answer any questions and also kept in touch throughout the whole process and offered his expertise and advice. Thought the process would be stressful however the whole team made it so easy we felt fully relaxed and at ease.
Can’t recommend them enough - and would use them again in our next house.
