*** Awful from start to finish ***

So spent 2 hours in store to order a sofa. Ended up ordering a sofa then ordered a bed mattress and bedroom furniture after being told that it would be delivered with a week by the sales assistant in-store. This was Important as I’ve just brought a home, was going to order elsewhere as the wife is heavily pregnant, moving in with nothing and it was important to have her settled without any stress and her as comfortable as possible…. FIRST MISTAKE!!!

The sales assistant went to check to get me guarantees this would happen so I ordered. After the finance assistant placating went through and everything approved I realised that the assistant had put the wrong items on the order meaning I had to cancel the order and re apply causing an instant delay.

After this was sorted the bed had taken nearly 3 weeks … again not ideal but things happen although I was given assurances did not happen!

I was given a delivery date of the 20th of July for the bedroom furniture I have still not recieved this or had any updates … I’ve called multiple times being told that someone would call me back with an update from
Home services … this did not happen so I called again … I was told someone would call within 72 hours … did not happen … called again, empty apologies assuring someone from home services would call within 72 hours and still have not. Called back and a request was put through for someone from store to give me a call … to my surprise this actually happened where I was assured that they would sort my issue and again assured me someone would call with an update first thing Monday morning … again DID NOT HAPPEN!!

So I called again and have requested to cancel my order … after the girl checked my notes on the account I was told their was an IT problem and someone would be back to me as soon as the issue was resolved … this is absolute rubbish!!! So you expect me to believe that a company the soze of DFS has an IT issue that lasts 3 weeks. This is quite frankly laughable and an insult that I’m expected to believe this … so I called back again and spoke to a gentlemen that sounded sincere and again promised me someone from
The cancellation team would call me back the next day … shock … DIDNT HAPPEN!!

My advice is to avoid DFS and use a more reputable company that can at least provide updates to their customers

Kieron was extremely helpful and gave good advice with no pressure selling. We went back to him to purchase sofa.

We visited your Waterlooville store. We were greeted by staff member Kieron, who was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, not too pushy. When we decided what we wanted, he came straight away to help us- even though he was due to go on his break. He showed us all the different options we could have and was very patient, even with a bouncy four year old around. His boss Troy came to finalise the paperwork, who again was very polite and helpful.
The whole process was very smooth & professional.

Staff member was very pushy in me having all the extras ,cleaning kit,extra warranty etc.Felt pressured in to having extras.Ended up paying an extra £400 on top of original price for something that I didn't want. Haven't been able to get through to customer services to try to reclaim money back.

Staff were very helpful .Especially Rhys who helped us solve our differences and preferences whilst choosing a sofa and chair that were suitable for all our needs .Not an easy task !!but he found the perfect ones for us

Reece was really helpful. Clear advice and thought of things we wouldn’t have. Found us the right sofa. Coffee was great too.

We went to dfs and was greeted after a few minutes by keiran. We had a idea of what we wanted and keiran was very knowledgeable and helped with our enquiries. After everything is said a done I probably would not of spent 4k but keiran really was the keystone in my decision to proceed and if keiran wasn't the guy who we first spoke to first im certain we wouldn't of walked away with a 5k corner sofa. His a great salesman and a asset to the company

We were very indecisive about which style of sofa would be the safest for our autistic daughter, who engages in repetitive impact behaviours. After several visits and conversations with your polite, knowledgeable, and understanding staff, we found the perfect sofa to suit our whole family’s needs.
A massive thank you to everyone, especially Rhys, for his patience, expertise, and genuine understanding throughout the process. Your support made what felt like a difficult decision so much easier, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We truly appreciate the outstanding customer service.

good people at working and quality of sofa is good

I was very happy with my visit to DFS Waterlooville yesterday. Staff members were around for assistance when needed but were not intrusive or pushy, excellent. My friends and I tried quite a few sofas before deciding on the one I chose which is perfect for my needs. Rhys was very informative and helpful and coffee plus a hot chocolate for my grandson arrived while we completed the sale. I did not use the facilities but my friend was effusive in her praise of how clean and roomy the toilet was, we are very fussy!
The visit was positive in every respect and I am looking forward to the arrival of my new sofa. Well done DFS.
