Very disappointed with this service…
Very disappointed with this service from the Stockport branch.
We bought a sofa ' armchair pouffe' rug and two nest tables.
The armchair we tried in store was very comfortable' the same one arrived was very uncomfortable ' felt like your coming out with it leaning forward' thought we'd give it time to sit on' and the stitching was all out.
We were told there's nothing wrong with it.
The store manager came out twice and the engineer at least 3times.
The sofa we thought was quite short in length ' and 3 inches out from what the website states' the engineer said themselves its a mistake on the website.
The pouffe ' had a bulk of piping on it ' yet again ' the engineer came out.
We dont use the armchair' we asked the Stockport store manager if we could have the one in store ' even though thousands of people have sat on it.' But of course we couldn't!
We ended up buying yet another arm chair.
We have wasted money and time on this in the last 6 months.
Lip service
We wont be shopping here again and we wont be recommending here.
Can't remember the exact dates of our poor experience as there are several dates of engineer visits' store manager visits and many phone calls since September 2025.

Excellent service
Excellent service. Wasn't pressurised in buying. Shown lots of suites, sizes and prices. All the furniture and fabrics explained very confidently by the person we were dealing with. Certainly knew her stuff. Very polite and courteous. Offered coffee then sat down and offered all the information regarding the furniture we were purchasing, gave information about the company, delivery date etc. Would certainly recommend to friends and family. Asked if we were interested in anything else such as coffee table, other furniture etc. At the present time we only require a suite.

Uncomplicated and Helpful
My daughter had seen the sofa she wanted on line, next step was to see it in store.
We were greeted by Nicky, he took us straight to the sofa she wanted 😊. He then helped us through the whole process, size, style, cushion filling etc.
It was uncomplicated and quite a smooth process, thanks to Nicky.

Store visit We visited the store today after…
We visited the store today after choosing a sofa we had seen online and wanted to purchase in the store . Ellis served us today and was very helpful showing us the material / colour options available in the sofa . Ellis made us a complimentary coffee and went through all the procedures of purchasing the sofa along with additional care / cleaning plans . Once we were happy with everything we filled in the details and made the order .
