The store assistant introduced himself early on and told us to give him a shout if we needed any help. Which we did and he duly assisted. Best of all he hadn’t stalked us around the shop constantly like they had in the previous store we had been in.

Was met by Jamie, who didn’t pressurise us in any way, very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Went through all options with us for the sofa combination we bought.

He was very knowledgeable and professional and was a really nice person

still waiting on my footstoll after 4 months .. i have had 2 couriers attempting to deliver sofas i didnt order .. not the couriers fault or drivers .. they are great .. get it together dfs .. sort it out

We had a couple of what we thought were awkward questions to ask as we needed a specific shape and size of sofa. We approached Scott who was absolutely fantastic. He sorted out our queries with ease, let us know what we needed and at no time in the process did he make us feel pushed or intimidated in any way. He helped from start to finish explaining everything along the way. Excellent stuff. Thank You Scott, your help and knowledge was really much appreciated and made this an easy, smooth experience. The staff in the showroom were excellent. Can't fault the delivery drivers they to were excellent. Everything went really smoothly. Would highly recommend.

We came in purely for a bargain mattress and left with a mattress and an olive-green electric 3-seater that somehow cost less than a night out. What’s that about? Anywho…
The sales lady was an absolute diamond. Patient, genuine, zero pressure – she complimented our choice, let us see similar items for comparison, and reassured us our mattress would arrive from the shelf in the original packaging.
She then casually walked us past that sofa and said “£***”. It was just what we were looking for. Not to mention a competitor who had us interested in some smart couch. Youll soon need and National Insurance nunber for wingbakc... well... that sales fell through. Flawless. Her colleague who double-checked everything was equally solid.
The delivery crew turned up on time, polite as anything, carried everything in and assembled it without a single sigh. Proper professionals.
So why only 4 stars when the whole experience was screaming for a solid 5?
I'll tell you why.
Because someone at the warehouse looked at a beautiful leather electric sofa… and decided the power pack was optional or over indulgent. It’s currently the world’s most elegant, olive-green, non-reclining, non-anything sofa. Just sitting there looking majestic and completely powerless – it’s really more of an ornament at the minute.
No plug, you see.
Ordinarily this would have been rather triggering for me. For example, I may have been at your shop window like Hannibal Lecter. But with vans on. Requesting to see the manager with a bib on… I jest of course! All the staff were so good, the mattress is pure heaven, and the sofa itself is still gorgeous… it qualifies as an ornament.
I have no doubt this will be resolved in a day or two – so you still get a 4.
To the mystery saboteur who packed the prototype without its plug: May your next fart be a wet one… on the velvet couch you bought with serviceable electric moving parts that worked to your satisfaction because they included the plug. Shaaaaame, shaaaaaaaaaame!

Everyone else – keep doing what you’re doing. You’re brilliant. Just… maybe check the box has the bit that makes the electric sofa actually electric next time... ornat least until Saboteur Sally has been retrained or sold to Home Bargains.
