We visited dfs on a very busy bank holiday. We didn't have to wait long before we were served by a very friendly guy called Gary. Within 25 minutes we were good to go with our furniture all ordered and paid for, even some discount thrown in, which was a lovely bonus. The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 is because when I got home and checked my emails I realised he'd ordered the slightly different specification on the chair to what I asked for. I've since rang them and been told il get a phone call within 3 days and hopefully it will be sorted.

We were very impressed and grateful for the help and advice provided by our salesman (sorry I forgot his name, but he'd just been off for 3 months for a knee operation). He was knowledgeable and professional, helpful and friendly, without being invasive or overbearing. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted, without pressure. The quality of DFS sofas means we won't go anywhere else (our last DFS sofa lasted 11 years).

Good choice of furniture which made it hard to decide on one but Lee patiently explained all features and we are confident we've got the one we wanted. Not at all 'pushy' as we feared from experiences elsewhere.

April was our salesperson today. She introduced herself to us, gave us advice on what we told her we were looking for and left us to browse. We went to find her once we had chosen. She was helpful, approachable and in no way 'pushy'. Our thanks to April for a smooth and comfortable experience.

We were met with a welcoming smile by a lady named Rachel. She first asked our requirements and then explained the layout of the showrooms. She took time with us to ask questions. She then led us through a couple of the showrooms explaining the clear pricing and details of the suites. Rachel did not pressure us but did make sure that what we were looking for was available and asked us if we wanted to look around by ourselves. Which gave my wife and myself opportunity to discuss what we had seen and decide what we wanted. After a short time Rachel returned and she was pleased to find we had decided to purchase a lovely three piece suite and rug. She spent time explaining and ensuring that order and details were correct and also about delivery. Another colleague of DFS cross checked the order. The payment went through with no problems.
We have trade with DFS from the early days when you set up in Darley Dale. Today Your Showroom and products looked great and Staff were very friendly and professional.

Generally a good experience but acoustics are poor in the building; my husband uses hearing aids and a couple nearby were talking very loudly to one of the staff so he struggled to hear our conversation

Absolutely brilliant, we were not hassled by sales people, we were left to look at our own pace and once we had made our decision we were looked after exceedingly well. From making the decision to payment to delivery plan it was a very enjoyable experience and we are very excited to get our new sofa in a few weeks .
