The care and attention of the staff member made the experience very memorable. She made my mother feel very supported and was both friendly while remaining professional and very knowledgeable.

Excellent staff

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

I ordered a sofa in February, received it in April, and it arrived damaged. It is now July, and I’m still waiting for a proper resolution.

Initially, I was offered a repair for the transit damage and a refund for the matching stool. At the time, I accepted this because I didn’t want to wait another eight weeks for a replacement sofa. Unfortunately, that decision has only led to more frustration.

A technician was sent to repair the sofa a few weeks after delivery. He appeared to attempt to fix the marks, but instead left the sofa in an even worse condition.

Since then, a manager from one of their stores has visited to inspect the damage. The entire process has been a complete waste of my time. At this stage, after months of delays, failed repairs, and ongoing inconvenience, I would have expected a full refund rather than more inspections and broken promises.

The level of customer service and aftercare has been extremely disappointing. I would not expect customers to have to wait this long to resolve an issue with a damaged item, especially after such a significant purchase.

Really great experience from start to finish, Thomas was excellent talked us threw everything made everything really simple excellent customer service.

On entering the store I immediately observed the coffee table I had been looking for ( a couple of months). A staff member, Bianca assisted me through the buying process, with genuine courtesy, professionalism, a little banter and extensive knowledge of the products. I will most definitely return.

We had a great experience today buying our sofas today. Emily was very polite and was able to answer all our questions.

There was a wide range of products. We were looking for a snuggler couch. We got exactly what we’re looking for. It was on floor display with a choice of fabric & colour. The sales assistant was attentive but not overbearing. She gave us time to look around on our own with influencing us. She explained all terms of sale clearly.

Wonderful experience in DFS Blanchardstown. Our retail assistant was very informative, knowledgeable and so polite. He went through the whole process, explained the lead times, showed us how to pay online.

I'm not one to bother leaving reviews but we travelled 2 hours to Blanchardstown to have a look for 2 sofas. DFS was first on my list, and honestly it was awful! I've never came across a salesperson that was so unbothered. I asked my first question about the fabric the sample sofa was, 'I think its this one'. Very trusting answer! I asked as it was a corner sofa if the configuration could be changed, again she replied she thinks it could but ask the installers on the day. I also asked if there were any more options with a fixed/secured cushion back and she asked what I meant by that. I literally had to explain I wanted cushions that were stuck on. At this point I was actually cringing and my husband rolled his eyes at me to get out. We did see another salesperson there, who seemed very attentive with other customers. We walked out and will not be recommending to anyone we know currently building houses! Terrible. Can't say the sofas were of great comfort either.

Bianca provided excellent customer service during my visit to DFS. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain all the options clearly, helping me make an informed decision. Her professional and helpful approach made the experience smooth and enjoyable. A real credit to DFS—thank you, Bianca!
