I recently completed my property purchase with Davisons Solicitors, and I am extremely satisfied with the service I received. The entire process was handled with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care.
Before instructing Davisons, I had experienced significant difficulties with my previous law firm, including unexpected additional charges despite having a signed agreement with them. This created a lot of stress and uncertainty for me as an overseas buyer.

Davisons stepped in after I terminated my previous contract, and from the very beginning, they delivered exactly what they promised. The transition was smooth, communication was clear, and every stage of the process was handled efficiently.

I would especially like to thank Taiba Ayaz for her exceptional dedication and hard work. She was always responsive, patient, and highly organised. Her guidance made the entire purchase journey much easier, and I always felt reassured that my case was in good hands.

This service has been a complete nightmare. I was promised a “no win, no fee” arrangement, yet I still ended up being charged even though nothing was actually achieved. I’ve sent email after email trying to get the refund I’m owed, and they have completely ignored me.

The representative who handled my case was unprofessional, dismissive, and never followed through on anything they said. I felt misled from the very beginning. No transparency, no accountability, and no resolution.

I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone

I used DP Law, a subsidiary of Davisons Law, during my home purchase process, and I was completely disappointed. I absolutely do not recommend them. I received a quote of 2032 pounds before the work began, and when the invoice was sent at the end of the process, I was presented with a bill of 3800 pounds. I was forced to pay this amount because I only had five days left until my home purchase. You absolutely must be careful. I will be filing a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman.

Another fabulous experience selling my house with Nataleigh Brogan and Sohaib Mehmood. I have used Davison’s for many conveyance transactions over the last 10 years and it is always a pleasure, they make it easy and as stress free as possible. Thank you both you are a credit to Davison’s!

We have just sold our property in Devon after 45 years . We just want to thank Kieren Mulvey and Alex Vrabtchev for their professional support and making the process much easier for us . Communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. They took our anxieties away . I would fully recommend the company and Kieren was excellent at explaining the processes etc . He was always available via text email or phone if required.

We are currently dealing with the office in Solihull for the last 3 months, still no date for completion or exchange, even asking several times. None of the paperwork has been explained and we are first time buyers. They have proceeded to get my husbands name wrong twice now on the contract even after correcting them 3 times. Loosing the will to live. Not impressed in the slightest!

We part exchanged our old home for our new home and sought Davisons assistance. From day one Davison’s were great. We have had a minimal amount of contact meaning everything has been fairly simply and easy. Apart from the first list of documents that were required and a few questions along the way it’s been a surprisingly simple process. Our thanks to Bundala and the team!

Communication has been outstanding. Returns have been rapid and assistance always at hand.

Moneybox recommended davisons Law to us. Mr Amanpreet Kaur was the solicitor assigned to us. They are efficient and realistic with their timeline. We had our end of tenancy before we had our completion date. In August, I asked Mr. Kaur if we could transfer by October, though he did not give us an absolute guarantee, however he aimed to finish the whole process by end of October. True to his words, we got our keys today, 30/10/2025. Our communication is mainly through email but during those few times I called, my queries were all answered. I am very grateful to Mr. Kaur and his team, Lucy, Rebecca, Samirah and Nathan for the timely update. They are courteous and professional. I highly recommend Davison law.

You’ll note all 1 star reviews for Davisons include a response with the line ‘ We cannot find your matter from your review name’. This is a lie. My full name is Tommy Flowers and I have reviewed here already. I am an existing client, and I have repeatedly attempted to escalate my concerns through every channel provided to me. Emails have been sent. Calls have been made. Requests for escalation have been logged. None have received a meaningful reply. Stating otherwise is a lie.

The absence of communication has been so prolonged that it has jeopardised progress on our purchase and continues to cause significant stress. At no point has the Davisons taken any responsibility for its own inaction. Instead, the burden continually falls back on us to chase updates that never arrive.

In my view, this is not a firm struggling temporarily with workload. It is a firm that does not appear to value accountability, transparency, or even the basic duty of keeping clients informed about their own transactions. I am now being gaslit by my own solicitor after doing everything I can to minimise their own incompetence.

Only with the advice of our agent and broker did we not sack this firm months ago - I wish I had not followed their advice and this issue is still unresolved.

Let me save Davisons Law the effort of posting their usual templated reply: yes, you have my details, and no, your failure to use them is not my responsibility.

Gemma at the Cotteridge branch has been amazing . She has guided us through bereavement, probate, IHT and the subsequent sale of property.
Importantly for us, she has been prompt in answering our queries and chasing other parties.
One of the best solicitors the family has ever dealt with, would definitely recommend.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but needed to write a review. They are completely incompetent and unable to read a court order. They were on the buyers side after elling my house at acutction and took 2 months after the completion date to complete. I had to instigate matrimonial solicitors to complete what they were paid to do which I will now be claiming via the legal ombudsman. Please avoid at all costs

Everyone was easy to talk to, and if not available someone else would look up records at a moment's notice and be able to pass on information which they at once understood and could explain.

Ratika helped me with a somewhat complex buy to let purchase. Ratika was very responsive and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to use her and Davisons again
