First time using the Bluewater branch…
First time using the Bluewater branch of David Clulow (have used a different branch previously) and was very happy with the service provided. Easy to book an eye test which was efficient, thorough and everything well explained. The assistant took time to help select new frames including putting together a selection to try while I completed the eye test. Awaiting collection of new glasses but so far the experience has been positive.

The service I have received from this branch has been exceptional. The staff have always gone the extra mile to help, especially Mr Katia the manager. I have been a client of theirs for many years and stay with them as they treat clients with respect and are thorough in their method of knowing your exact needs and then advising accordingly. Good old fashioned service, the business is a rare gem in Chelsea.

Be Careful About Direct Debits
I have been chasing for days now to get clarity on direct debit. I keep being told I will be "called by the store" but no calls happen.
They are very confident in recommending their interest free offers. Just dreadful at managing them it appears!

Walked into Ealing Broadway branch to…
Walked into Ealing Broadway branch to ask about the contact lens service and was greeted with such horrific arrogant rudeness from the two ladies behind the counter. The shop was totally empty, and I simply wanted to discuss their service. They acted as if they were above me, projected coldness and pure arrogance. I spoke to them for close to 5 minutes before leaving.
Why this would be their reaction I have no idea. It was 945am on a Saturday, not another soul was in the shop. Having now read a string of alarming reviews on this site, it seems the company has an endemic problem with rudeness and unprofessionalism.
Needless to say, I won't ever pay them a penny for anything. But potential customers be warned that the vibe conveyed by the negative reviews here was validated by a simple 5 minutes enquiry in one of their stores on a slow day.

This was my first time using David Cludlows , I just had to come straight on to trust pilot and tell people that my experience has to be one of the best I’ve had at an opticians.Their choice of Frames is extensive with a price range for to suite all.
