Bought a lap top then the next morning changed my mind. Initiated a refund and cancellation. Successful cancellation however thr refund from my cancellation of the 1st Sept 2026 still has not happened. I have called twice, Indian call centers and promised a refund of £159.00 and had 2 text messages saying my refund will be coming but it never does. Please please think twice about using Currys! Their after sales, after care, customer service, refunds etc are totally diabolical in every way so please avoid stress and agitated problems and shop elsewhere. Cheaper deals are out there so please shop around! Currys take your money, keep it to make themselves profit and keep you waiting for a refund or indeed sorting problems out.Also they have no direct Email or complaints procedures so make it difficult for you to raise objections.

Your staff member was polite, accepted my reason for cancelling my order, however she had to wait a while for a response to proceed with the cancellation.
I had to take 2 buses to physically attend a store to cancel my order, which I found very inconvient and in future I will certainly take into account buying from Currys again.

Great choice, competitive prices, helpful friendly staff, bought two large items, very quick delivery, good experience.

Staff very friendly and informative at the store. We prefer to use a store for this reason rather than an internet company. Delivery and installation very efficient and quick. Again the staff were very polite and friendly. We will use Curry’s again for this reason.

Went in to buy a tablet for my daughter, they price matched the one we wanted so saved £60 which was great! It all went downhill from there! Wanted a protective case and screen protector, was told to choose from a section of cases for the 11" tablet with staff member pointing out which ones and then headed to till to pay at which point the screen protector I was told would be put on after purchase which was fine. Paid and was told to go to the phone section and someone would be over to put on the £40! Screen protector. Waited 20 minutes for someone to come at which point I had to ask for someone and then when a staff member finally showed up they found they had no screen protectors and had to then refund me! I then get home and find the protective case I have been sold does not fit and is for an Ipad! Now have to return to store 20 miles from home to return it! There were so many customers waiting around in store for help from staff who seemed few and far between but due to the clear lack of training and knowledge of the staff I wouldn't bother!

It was easy to order and delivery updates and delivery accurate

My experience with Currys was excellent, the Manager at the store i visited was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable with product, explained everything with any concerns or queries and completed transaction in a very professional manner. The Manager is a credit to the company and a very big thank you from a very satisfied customer.

Fantastic staff service

I needed a new mobile phone and I went to Curry’s as they had offers on the phone I wanted. Very helpful and knowledgable staff and although the phone was not in store it was delivered to me the following day by courier. First class service with security that ensured it was delivered to me. I had made an appointment to take my old phone into the store so that all the information could be transferred and this again was done in a very professional manner. I am delighted with the overall service that I received.

I'd been comparing a few options before ordering from currys and ended up finding exactly what i needed within my budget. The product information was clear and the staff member I spoke to answered my questions without trying to push me towards something more expensive

The order arrived on time and everything was packed properly, and the whole process was straightforward. No unnecessary hassle or chasing updates.

On 2/7/2026 I purchased a Bestway 10'X30' garden pool via Currys online. The website suggested it was in stock with a 2 day delivery to store. To purchase the pool I bought a gift card via the blue light discount scheme that offered a slight overall discount.
The order was initially confirmed by email, shortly followed by a "problem with your order" email.
On contacting Currys, I was told that they could not fulfill the order and therefore it was cancelled and was told I would get a refund on the gift card.
It has now been 2 months, 5+ phone calls to Currys online, 2 store visits, 1 Letter, 2 requests for a manager to contact me which I was assured would happen in 24-48 hours (guess what.... no call) , 1 complaint logged with a case number, and still no gift card refund.
Today 1/9/26 was told the gift card was redeemed in my local store on the 22/8/24 (a day I was away)and to visit the store. Another trip to store to be told this would never happen.
Overall treated with compete indifference, store can't help with on-line orders and contacts the same number I do , computer says refund was actioned in store, unable to speak to anyone directly that is able or willing to assist.
Right now I would just like a refund of the money I spent on the gift card ( but thats not company policy !)as given my customer service experience I will never shop or recommend anyone shops at Currys. Only positive is the York branch staff tried to help but seem to be hampered by the companies processes.

Update 16/9/2026. Still no refund. Email sent to address in Margo’s response below remains unanswered. Complaint letter remains unacknowledged. Further phone call with no progress. Have received a phone call from the store saying someone was looking in to it and would ring me back the same day…… 4 days ago.
