Currys - Wednesbury J9 Recensioni 

I purchased two Samsung TVs from Currys Wednesbury on Wednesday. Unfortunately, after receiving my order, I discovered that one of the TVs was faulty, so I returned to the store the following day with both TVs.

I was initially served by Amy at the returns counter, who was absolutely lovely. She was kind, caring and, most importantly, she genuinely listened to what I was saying. She did everything she could to help with my return and treated me with patience and respect throughout. Amy is a real credit to Currys.

Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when the returns supervisor became involved. What should have been a relatively straightforward return began to feel more like an interrogation. I found her manner unprofessional and dismissive, and while I was trying to explain the issue, she was sucking on a sweet, which only added to the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously.

My return was initially refused before the TV had been fully inspected or tested. During the conversation, I also felt as though I was being accused of changing my story and that there was an insinuation that the damage had occurred after purchase. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing, particularly as the discussion was taking place in front of other customers.

After a lengthy back-and-forth, the supervisor eventually agreed to carry out a full diagnostic test on the TV. The test confirmed exactly what I had been explaining from the beginning — the TV was faulty. I was then given a full refund.
What disappointed me most was that, even after the diagnostic test confirmed the fault, I received no apology or acknowledgement for the way I had been treated beforehand. A simple apology would have gone a long way.

Currys is a customer-facing retailer, and one of the main reasons people still choose to visit a physical store rather than simply purchasing online is the opportunity to speak to someone face-to-face and receive good customer service. Experiences like this undermine that advantage.

Thankfully, Amy demonstrated exactly what good customer service should look like. She was professional, compassionate and genuinely wanted to help. If anything, Currys should be looking at employees like Amy when considering people for future management positions.

Five stars for Amy and her customer service. Unfortunately, the overall returns experience was extremely disappointing.

The assistant who helped us with our purchase was outstanding- we couldn't of wished to meet and ve served by a nicer individual. We only wished we could remember his name but this was at curry's junction 97

Great support and advice provided by Goldy Kaur at Currys in Wednesbury for a purchase of a laptop. She listened to what was needed and advised accordingly to ensure the process was not overwhelming with the large number of laptops available. Very clear and informative

In-store customer service was really good 😃. However driver/gas cooker fitter person couldn't even fix take out a one inch screw or even open the cooker packaging. Said his drill bit was was not doing it's job. Also it was out of his understanding and it would be more beneficial for me the client to call in a team of professionals I felt terrible and let down. Then I was told to go back and get a refund for the gas cooker fitting. Then after being in my house for roughly 5 minutes, he quickly left. I'm suffering stroke/heart problems and this day left myself with a huge huge headache, this Currys store that I frequently purchase items from do have an excellent track service and reputation. But every now and then I do meet/ have to deal with Currys representatives who in my opinion have a much more lesser caring or understanding approach in their daily work. 😞

Item we ordered was unavaiable to see in our local Currys megastore so we purchased by product recommendation. It arrived on the snowiest day in January intact and with the help of 2 genuine delivery guys. Happy all round 👍🏻

On Saturday 5th September, I Went to Curry's PC World technical support section for advice to resolve Microsoft 365 issue. I was advised and support by an representative by the name of Amy from the Wednesbury branch based in the Midlands . She resolved the issue in a matter of minutes. exceptional service

I brought a 32 inch TV which I had to visit your store 5 times and on the fifth time they said there was nothing wrong with it! I was flabbergasted! I was so disappointed & I ended up chucking it away! I will not buy anything else from this store!

Bought a Kenwood american fridge freezer 4 months ago, went away for a few days came back freezer full of food had all thawed. AMY in store was brilliant, had new fridge freezer the following day. 👏

Ordering online was easy and booking a time slot. The delivery was within the time booked, the new Samsung washing machine was unpacked - the old machine removed. The new one was brought in and connected to the water supply and plugged in, then it was tested on the 15 minute cycle.
All straightforward and no mess, thank you.

Fantastic customer service / very helpful answering all our questions / very friendly and easy to talk to even about things other than what we were purchasing.

Went looking for washing machine it was close to end of day, shop assistant was very helpful in looking for a tape to selling us the product we went to buy. Without trying to sell us anything other than what we wanted to buy.

Ordered an Acer laptop online, but their warehouse sent a completely random MSI model instead. When I went into the store to sort it out, the manager told me to return it, and as I was walking out, security locked the doors because they thought I was stealing—despite me having just been at customer service speaking directly with the manager.

​To top it off, customer service on the phone told me it would take a full seven days just to fix their mistake and get the correct item sent out. Absolutely appalling organization, zero respect for customers, and a deeply distressing experience. I will not be shopping here again.

I will return the other laptop that I got sent today, store manager was helpful and polite but the security guard way she handled it disgusting especially when staff member told her i was just at customer service speaking to a manager I mean I walked in with the bag and box and went straight over to customer service. If you are going stop people maybe check CCTV first.

Staff very helpful and courteous. Only problem was locating someone to help.

Staff in the store were very informative and friendly. The delivery men rang with a time for delivery and they were on time. They put the washing machine in the room we asked and took all the rubbish away.

I wanted to leave a quick review for Sarah (Operator 124) at the Currys Wednesbury store following my visit on 02/08/2026. I missed the original feedback link in my email, but I made a point to write this anyway because she was exceptional! Sarah was incredibly patient and really took the time to help me find the products that best suited my needs. She is a massive asset to the store!

Great customer care by Sarbjit assistant 444 at Wednesbury branch. Had time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me lots of options and choices .. discussed them and helped me to purchase what I needed x thank you
