On time delivery without any delay during pickup

Walked in to buy a Kettle and Toaster. Was welcomed exceptionally by Saif Uddin, who provided his expertise and product knowledge which was valuable in our considerations. 10/10 customer service from Saif.

I’ve had a double dose of awful customer service from Currys recently.
​First, I ordered a kettle online to be delivered to my workplace. Instead of managing the delivery properly, Currys passed it off to InPost, who have completely failed to deliver it over three consecutive days.
​Second, the in-store experience at the Solihull branch is dreadful. When picking up an under-counter fridge, I was left waiting in a massive queue while staff wandered around doing nothing. The person covering the pickup desk was overwhelmed and ignored me, while no one else stepped in to help.
​Whether online or in-store, Currys lacks basic organization and customer care. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

EDIT: and the reply below just says everything. No solution... item still somewhere out there...

Well Informed assistant made us aware of all the possibilities

We recently purchased a cooker there were plenty to choose from and the staff were very helpful and polite the fitter who fitted my cooker on Sunday morning the 6th of September was brilliant he was helpful and explained how to use the cooker as this was an upgrade for us

Delivery service and communication awful. Meant to collect from local store on Saturday but still havent received an email from store to come and collect even after calling customer service twice who let me know the tv has been delivered on Saturday to store but the store was basically lazy and hasn't scanned the product in. This was escalated to the store manager by the customer service agent this morning when I called customer service and promised it would be resolved today amd would receive email within 2 hours to come and collect product. But nothing happened and the store is closed now and one more day without any tv.

Your assistant was knowledgeable about the product we were purchasing and the ancillary items we also required. The payment through our Creation Finance facility was handled quickly and efficiently and we were on our way without delay.

I visited currys in New Oscott sutton coldfield and currys in Highgate. The service was very poor in both departments. In Highgate store we waited for a member to serve us we also spoke to one of the managers who said some will be with us soon. We waited 15 minutes and left the store as no one came . On bank Monday we visited currys in Solihull. Straight away we were greeted by member of staff called Kasim. He was brilliant helpful friendly and very professional and knew his job. He was very knowledgeable so we were happy to purchase NAFF appliances for the kitchen and spent over £3.000. One of the managers also made made sure we got what we needed and was also very helpful and kept coming to see if we were OK. Sorry did not get his name. All the appliances were delivered next day.
We need to purchase a TV soon and we definitely will be visiting the same department. Pass our thanks to kasim and his manager. Brilliant service. 👏

Absolutely awful! I tried to purchase two new iPhone17's from the store at Chalford Way Shirley Solihull only to be told that I had to pay for them over the phone and that the colours I wanted only one was available, however I could have both iPhones delivered to my home address providing I accepted black. We would then need to go to the store in Shirley to get the new phones updated with the data from the old ones. I mean why bother advertising iPhones when you can't supply the product. I must be mistaken but I thought the customer was king, obviously not at this store. Looks like I'll be using Amazon again!

Speed of process, from beginning to end.
Ordered at 9.15am. Message available for collection at 9.25. Picked up, from store at 9.50.
All without any issues.

I only went again for a tumble dryer you always have to find somebody to help you a lot of standing around ,when I did get some help after calling somebody it was a night mare with the paper work because I had it with my purchase all I wonted to now what date it comes & how much a month she told me to go to the bank they will sort it out so I did they dident know what curry’s were on about on the paper work she give me there was no sort code or bank details for creation so I had to go back to curry again I manage to talk to someone & they rang creation at last another hour I was in there finally I got there detail when to start paying so then I had to go back to the bank & get it set up I really don’t think they know what they are doing I should of gone else were wish I had of done I haven’t got the dryer yet & I’m already paying for it’

Helpful staff, quick service

Normally, I would give 5 stars, as we have bought a few items from there and always received good service.
But I am shocked by the service we have received to date.
We ordered a fridge/freezer, which was supposed to be delivered on Sunday, 23/08/2026. I then received a voicemail saying it had been cancelled as the item had been damaged. Therefore, they will send us a replacement on Tuesday 25/08/2026.
I called Currys to find out what time the delivery would be, only to be told the item is out of stock, so I would not be getting a delivery. I asked to speak to a Manager or Supervisor, which they could not accommodate. So I now have to go into the store to get an explanation. But will they be honest!!

Purchased a Bravia sound bar. The quality of sound was very poor, at £200. I did expect better.

Excellent service. Young member of staff was very helpful.
