Purchase of iPad

I visited the store in Chichester on Wednesday14 October to purchase an iPad 11. I was seen by an assistant quite quickly and I paid £529 for 256 mg iPad and was told it would be delivered to my home the next day as they don’t keep them in stock. I then was persuaded to buy a new case and screen protector and their own 3 year care package. Needless to say something drastic went wrong with the ordering system, and having waited in all day Thursday said iPad did not arrive. I received no receipt for the iPad so had to go to y bank to verify payment having been taken. Which it had been that same day. I returned to the store on Friday morning at great inconvenience and although the staff were very pleasant they could not understand what had gone wrong. They contacted the department that deals with the orders and from then on I was passed from pillar to post and after an hour the problem had still Nov been resolved. I was told by a man on the other end of the line that I would hear directly from them within 24 to 48 hours. This has not been the case and so I am left with an unresolved problem, no iPad and £529 short. I hope this will be resolved in the next couple of days. Up until now I have not had any problems with Currys.
