A big thank you to the Daniel, a Currys team member at Carmarthen, who took the time to help me find exactly the right gadget I needed. He was friendly, patient and really knowledgeable, explaining the options clearly without making me feel pressured. His advice made choosing so much easier, and I’m delighted with my purchase. I placed an online order with Currys…
I placed an online order with Currys last week for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Keyboard Book Cover and Samsung Galaxy Watch, for next-day collection from the Carmarthen store.
The order still has not arrived. Despite several conversations with Currys, nobody has been able to tell me where the items are or give me a firm delivery date. This morning I was told:
“There are currently delivery delays in your area due to an unexpected issue.”
That explanation is far too vague and does not tell me what has happened to my order or when I can expect to receive it.
What concerns me even more is the response I received when I asked about cancelling the order. I was told:
“I am sorry for the cancellation; I have checked your order has been placed and the status of the order has gone too far. At this point in time, the system won't allow us to amend any details.”
I actually still want the products, but I am extremely concerned that Currys appears unable to either deliver the order or allow it to be cancelled.
The purchase was made using Creation Flex Pay, so the full value of the order is already using my available credit despite Currys not having supplied the goods.
I have now escalated the matter to Currys Executive Resolution and copied Creation into the complaint. I have also asked Currys to confirm exactly where the order is, provide a realistic delivery date, and confirm that I am not effectively trapped in an undelivered order simply because their internal system will not allow staff to amend it.
Very disappointing experience so far, particularly as these were expensive items and were originally advertised for next-day collection. If the items I have ordered are in my hands in the next 24 hours I will come back here and edit this post, but I have completely lost confidence in Currys' ability to fulfil this order and I am resigned to just fighting to get a refund.

Vicky member of staff was very helpful , she helped us choose a television and cabinet and also gave us an alternative to buy a stand that fitted on to the television,and the two boys took them out to the car with care. We have always shopped in Curry's and will continue to do so
