They made $24 off me and wasted 2 hours of my life.

DOn't put your payment info in, they will not refund you. They made $24 off me and wasted 2 hours of my life.

I have used their Lucy A.I

I have used their Lucy A.I. for almost a year and during that time thought it was great since it was the free version. In fact, I have many colleagues who signed up for the pay version upon hearing the interaction of the free version that I have been using. This week I just got an email saying that they’re terminating the free version at the end of this month. Keep in mind all of their marketing for almost a year focused on the fact that they had a free version as well as a paid version. Even now on their Facebook page The cover photo still says “it’s free “I really feel like this has become a bait and switch. I will not recommend this to anyone moving forward and it looks like I’m going to have to find a replacement service. Even if I have to pay, I’m going to use a different service. I feel quite betrayed by them and their marketing. It was a pain to set up forwarding it didn’t work well initially and I needed to spend extra time doing so. Now it looks like I have to do that all over again. I do not recommend this service

They let me sign up for a free account. I thought I’d give the professional plan a try. It was too expensive since they raised the price to $24 a month. I have a small business. So, I decided to return to the free version. That’s when I discovered that the free version was, “temporarily unavailable.” It’s had this status for two months now. (It’s not really “temporarily unavailable,” is it?) Why can’t they just be honest and say there is no more free version? The moment they were apparently bought out by another company called Trivoni Software, the free version disappeared. I contacted them by email to ask what was going on, and they simply ignored my email.

Scam. Steer clear.

I had a free "Lucy" account to handle calls whenever I went away on vacation. Obviously, this wasn't something I used on a daily basis.

Recently, I was sent an email, telling me that my account would be deactivated as I hadn't used it in a while. Interesting, but fine. I logged into my account, which - like EVERY OTHER website out there, should have been good enough to keep my account going.

Apparently not. These imbeciles deactivated it a day or so later.

Fine. I'll sign up for a new account.

Surprise, surprise. They turned off the "free" feature account, and are now forcing people into purchasing a paid subscription.

What the h*** is this s**** about?

To me, this is nothing more than a ploy...a scam...to force non-paying (free) customers into purchasing a subscription plan.

In fact, when I contacted customer service about this, I was told that if I "found value" to what they offered, I could purchase a plan.

Nope. I don't find value with ANY company that cancels an account, and then forces you to re-join with a paid plan. As far as I'm concerned, you can shove that suggestion up your rear.

But that's ok. I fully intend to spread the word about this on every social media platform that I can. Hope your business tanks.

Curious Thing impressed my brother…

Curious Thing impressed my brother immensely when he didn't know I had implemented the service! He liked it so much, he enjoyed calling it to leave messages with Ai technology like Lucy. He wanted to try it, so I told him to try it out! He had been using Google Voice, but this is better for a long-haul trucker like him. I can look at my messages, or get texts that he called. I've had great experiences in IT working for two Australian-based companies, and it's a great memory to have supported Aussies & Kiwi's!

This product does not work with Google…

This product does not work with Google Voice as advertised. I requested a refund, but the company refused. Instead, they responded with this:

'I really would like to emphasize that it's not about keeping your money—it's about understanding the root cause of the issue. We are very eager to understand why Google Voice doesn't work because our documentation says it is supported. Identifying the root cause is, unfortunately, a key part of our process.'

Should a customer be required to troubleshoot a company’s product in order to receive a refund? Absolutely not. A company should stand behind its claims and offer refunds when their product fails to deliver."**

You're absolutely right to expect clear communication upfront. While we do mention that Lucy isn't compatible with Google Voice Free and Starter tiers in our sign up process, we completely get that this may not have been as clear as it should have been in our emails. Apologies for the confusion.

I've never been able to receive texts…

I've never been able to receive texts or emails informing me I have messages I've reported it customer service and still nothing. They haven't done anything to help me. I'm very upset with this series

Many years ago

Straighttalk

Tried to sign up for Lucy as I would live to have it. But, only to find out my provider isn't listed so could use it. Please add StraightTalk to your list so I can use the Lucy service.

Unfortunately, Straight Talk doesn’t support the conditional call forwarding feature that’s required for Lucy to work as intended and only answer missed calls. This is something outside of our control as it’s a limitation with the carrier.

We understand this is disappointing, and we’re always working to improve accessibility. We recommend reaching out to Straight Talk directly to inquire about any potential updates or changes to their services. In the meantime, if you happen to switch carriers we'll be here :).

We are implementing Curious Thing for all our main inbound call lines

We are implementing Curious Thing for our main inbound call handling. Ironically (or as to be expected, take your pick), the note taking ability of "Lucy" is superiour to the one of our staff! No details are lost, no matter how long the message. Clients no longer have a call queue but rather get it off their chest and we engage from there.
Smart overrides seal the deal. This not only saves us money but makes the customer experience a better one. Beats the old IVR (press 1 for support, 2 for...) any day!!!

I love Lucy

I love Lucy! She's awesome, I use Lucy to screen my calls for customers I can actually help, I waste time talking to customers trying to help them only to find I can't. I feel I now have more time in my day. My regular callers love telling Lucy about their day and leaving a message.. They have a better relationship with Lucy than me! Haha! Thank you for this great service
