TERRIBLE communication, respond time, and problem solving skills. They are so unhelpful and I told them I had a time sensitive issue, they reply so slowly. This website should be taken down. They sell defective items & don’t help at all too. Never buying from here ever again

I ordered a Healthy Pi 5 complete kit, a $500 device that is supposed to work out of the box for a middle school Capstone course (public education) My students raised the money for the item.:( It never worked as describe. Crowd Supply replied by sending me the link to the Healthy Pi Move, which is not the item I ordered and then went silent. Never again did they reply to my inquiries to exchange the item.

Very poor experience with Crowd Supply. Definitely questioning whether the whole thing is a scam.
Been waiting 6+ months for my item that said it was in stock when I placed the order. They NEVER keep customers updated when shipping times change by months! There is zero communication from them. You have to constantly chase them for any answers, and their replies never give anything helpful.
I have requested a refund twice now and have had no reply.
Absolutely unacceptable.

I purchased the wrong device, so promptly requested a RMA so I could return it and then purchase the correct one. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for a RMA. They simply ignore my request. This will be my first and last time purchasing from Crowd Supply.

Still waiting after MONTHS!!! Since LAST SUMMER!! Damn thing still isn't here. They keep asking me to cancel my order!?!? WTF! Send me my damn Flippy Drive already!!! Stop closing the ticket too! I don't have my drive so the issue isn't resolved!

They lie to you from the beginning.
They sell products that they don’t even have in possession. The shipping date changes repeatedly and it’s not by a day or two. We are talking weeks and months. The responses to inquiries I have submitted are responded too with heavily automated responses that tell you no information. They close the tickets and just leave you hanging in suspense. The updates for shipments by the way, never go directly to you.
You have to login to the website each time you want an update and like I said, that changes every day.
It will be close to a month with ESTIMATED delivery date of December 31st. I ordered on nov 16th.
Nothing has been shipped yet. Infact they say themselves publicly on the website that they don’t have the orders in so that date is just them making empty promises to appease customers.
It’s a horrible company to communicate with. They do not know how to run their “business” assuming that’s what this is. Because I don’t even know if the shipments are real considering I have not received mine. You can’t take peoples money under certain conditions and then change those conditions by literal months.
A better idea is to have the shipments in your possession before you allow anyone to place an order.

I can’t imagine how awful it will be attempting to get my money back from this scamy company.
I have talked to my bank and it’s an option that I can dispute the charge and then my bank will go after this scamy company to retrieve the money they put back in my account.
I would advise anyone reading this to not waste time with this “company”

Honestly one of the worst places I’ve had to deal with. They continuously lie about stock, shipping dates, and whether or not you’re entitled to a refund (aka backtracking on previous promises for a refund despite no item ever being sent to me). I have worked multiple customer service jobs and have never closed a ticket simply because I responded to a customer. That is a terrible business practice that shows they don’t care to actually help you, but merely want to keep your money while giving you nothing. That is theft. Supposedly they magically found my item and already packaged it—let’s see if they deliver on their promise with no other issues. This is beyond disorganized for such an expensive item! They need to learn better communication and organizational skills. Period.

DO NOT BUY FROM CROWDSUPPLY!!!!
Their shipping dates are misleading on purpose and you will more than likely face issues!!!!
Total and complete scam with the exception that they will refund you after wasting your time with the most pitiful and atrocious communication ever. Their shipping date estimates are NEVER correct or even close to the mark. Constant delays in distribution to the extent that you feel like they may have just outright lost your order. Support NEVER has any meaningful answers or simply just use automated replies. After 4 months of waiting when the estimated ship time was only a week or so after placing the order, I cannot fathom why anyone would ever want to purchase anything from here.

Estimated shipping date for my slime VR trackers was supposed to be 9/10/25/. Its been pushed back like 4 times and it's now saying shipping 10/31/25.

Pretty sure they are just making these numbers up since they don't have any accountability for getting things done on time.

They've had my shipment for over a month and a half just sitting there. I've asked for updates and the supplier says it should have shipped by now, while Crowd Supply refuses to answer.

I didn't mind when the Tariff changes in the US delayed the shipment at customs, because that's out of their hands.

However, in 1.5 weeks they'll have had my shipment for 2 months and I'm supposed to be moving 1000 miles away on the 17th, so if they dont ship this week, chances are I'm out $750.

This company is total fraud. Of course after receiving my item 8 months after I order it, they send incompatible hardware. They close tickets without help and won’t respond to emails. Stay away from this company.

Go anywhere else! They’re expected shipping times are false leads to get you to purchase. I ordered an item with an expected shipping time of the next day. After two weeks of it not shipping out, I contacted them and they said it’d be shipped out that week. It never was and when I contacted them again they just didn’t respond for a week. Then when I contacted them to cancel the order, they responded within an hour. I have never had to deal with such a scam company that blatantly lies. Why creators ship through them versus other, I don’t know. But just see if you can get your stuff through a highly rated seller on Etsy or something. That’s what ended up doing once I cancelled. I’m just happy I was able to get my money back unlike others.

Ordered a $200 Inkplate 10 and it was delivered broken. The box was damaged and there were loose parts rattling around inside.

I opened a support ticket and requested a return the same day. It has been over 40 days and Crowd Supply has not responded with the RMA # and return shipping info.

DO NOT buy anything from them. Even when it is their fault, they will not try to help.

Bad Support Long waiting time. Don’t pay money back after refund and don’t get a response.

I had backed 2 projects on the platform in 2020. I've waited patiently until projects were completed and shipped for distribution in 2024 (not due to CrowdSupply's fault, the delay was due to global chip shortages) but simply didn't receive any tracking numbers even though project owners did claim to have shipped both devices. Turns out CrowdSupply can refuse to fulfill for whatever reason, without any notification, clear explanation, or path to resolution, and just keep my money. They gave me a vague promise to possibly refund later but then stopped responding in the support ticket. Total loss: about $300.

orderd a MNT Pocket Reform, FedEx lost the package. Only CrowdSupply can file a claim against FedEx.
(only they have a contract with FedEx.)

My tickets will be closed immediately or not answered.
I read on the internet that many people have similar problems.
This company should not be called CrowdSupply but rather FraudSupply.

Do not buy from Crowd Supply. They took my order and shipped a couple small cellular antennas to my PO Box then said they couldn't ship my SDR because it was just over in value they ship to PO Boxes. I have tried to resolve by opening a ticket but they still will not ship my hardware. I opened the ticket 85 days ago.

Update 20240909: business provided me a refund, perhaps after seeing my negative review below.

20240830: ordered the MNT Pocket Reform in March-2023 for $970, which hasn't yet been delivered even though the maker has allegedly fulfilled all campaign orders. Been filing tickets with them for 2 weeks, which get closed with vapid non-responses - they claimed it should ship this last week but nothing yet. I'm frustrated, thus I'm logging this review.

Ordered something that was defective.
They closed the ticket telling me I needed to get support from a forum

Ordered a product on their site, more than 10 days have passed and my order is still being processed right now. Contacted their CS for order cancellation and they still haven't replied back and it has been like 4 days. They said in their email that they would respond back in 1-2 days but that hasn't happened yet. All in all, if you use their service then prepare to wait until the end of time for their incompetent ass to actually do their jobs
