Easy to use - just list the items for recycling and take them in or send them. They list them and securely get rid of all data. Items then recycled to schools etc. Good for the environment with no landfill. Great way to get rid of all that old technology clogging up garages and lofts!!
I contacted CPR and told them my requirements. They suggested to phone me back with options, which they did promptly. I accepted their suggestion and I am now the owner of a computer that meets my requirements perfectly and looks like new.

CPR offer free collection for commercial users. As a residential user, you can either drop items off or pay for delivery.
I used Parcelforce and it cost £12. I also had to parcel up the PC.
CPR wipe the disks, salvage parts, and responsibly recycle anything they cannot reuse. They sell what they salvage and give the money to charity.

It seems that this is the only IT recycling company in London and Essex which actually collects old equipment for free. Every other option we looked at turned out to either charge a fee or indefinitely postpone the collection. CPR contacted us within 2 weeks of filling the online form and postponed the collection just once. The driver was very nice and had all the access information we submitted etc. A well run service
