Service is awesome, clarity and full explanations given to me so that I understand exactly what is going on with my vehicle!!!

I've been taking my cars to the Waldorf location for at least 5 years now and I'm ALWAYS satisfied with the service they give. They are always professional, respectful and helpful. Being a single mom, those qualities in dealing with car problems go A LONG WAY. They take time to explain anything I don't understand or have further questions about. Went in for a check engine light. After my truck was in the shop for 5 weeks and $1200 later, I pickup my truck. I drive less than 1000 feet and the check engine light came back on.
Not happy. 5 weeks in the shop.

Excellent, professional and fast service...The amazing customer service actually surprised me. Had my car towed to Cottmanns after an accident and 2 other disappointing repair shops. Mr.Bill made me feel so comfortable in the first conversation on the phone, offered additional help to get my car there safe. Rebuilding transmission in only a couple of days was almost unbelievable. Far less expensive than other repair shops.....and the best customer service ever. Not to mention additional check ups and small services I wasn't even charged for. One happy customer...will always recommend Cottmanns. COTTMANNS Crew is totally amazing.

I truly am grateful to have found a trusted, professional, organized, efficient, time-wise auto mechanics at Cottman's of Waldorf. From the first day they exhibited care and concern for my vehicle. They presented options that I could choose from and then proceeded to complete my request. I thought maybe I had to wait possibly 2 weeks to get some type of results, but I was contacted in 3 days notifying my vehicle was ready. A rebuilt transmission in 3 days!, I'll take that service any day. Mr & Mrs Ken, Mr Bill and our mechanic Mr Brad, YOU ROCK! Thank God for Cottman's!

Talk about getting more than you pay for, These guys will do exactly what you want and give you other options.
This place is always polite and professional and the prices are more than reasonable.

Cottman of Waldorf rebuilt the transmission in my 2001 GMC Sierra pickup truck in April 2016. Though this truck has about 269,000 miles on it, it has always been a good running vehicle. So when the transmission started slipping I took it to Cottman's on my brother's recommendation. I liked that Cottman's stands behind their work with a 3-year warranty on rebuilt transmissions which includes annual check-ups. I just took my truck in for it's first annual checkup, it took about 30 minutes, and the transmission got a clean report. The staff seems very knowledgeable, service is prompt, and everyone I have dealt with is very courteous.

Cottman is my family's go to for our cars and truck. We were extremely lucky to find them when we moved to Maryland. The staff and the mechanics are excellent. Had my Chevy Traverse in for brakes and rotors recently and as always the service was great and they were able to get it repaired quickly.

I took my tacoma to Cottmans a few days ago without an appointment. They were sincerely concerned and provided a transmission check and estimate. Although it wasn't the news I wanted, knowing that, Cottmans took the time to explain what was not functioning properly and provided a couple of solutions. I would definitely return to Cottman's for service.

Took 2 vehicles in for transmission service. 1 vehicle had a more serious problem the expected. I was given a fair assessment of the problem and a quote for the repair cost. Happy to know that what I thought would repair the symptom would not have corrected a thing. truthfully it kept me from possible getting stranded. Great experience with a topping of up front honesty.

I rarely write reviews but I had to follow through with writing this to not only inform the consumer but also just maybe someone will take notice and make some changes. Let me start by saying that the staff at Cottman of Waldorf was nothing but polite. The manager Bill really is an asset to the company. I had some work done 4 months prior to this last visit and that experience caused me to return for more work. Well this last experience will cause me to look elsewhere for mechanic work. I had to return my vehicle three times before it felt safe enough to drive and it still is not where I feel that a quality work was performed. I had to end up taking my truck somewhere else to complete the work.

I was in need of a new transmission, I received several estimates, and the estimate I received from Cottman was the lowest estimate I received. The work was performed quickly and they kept me updated on the progress of the work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know, and as a matter of fact, the fixed my brakes about 8 months prior to my transmission and I am going to them again to have my throttle body replaced.
