ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! We had an issue with the moving date when our buyer wanted to change moving date. Are solicitor assumed it was ok and went on his holiday. There was a further issue which we also wanted investigated and which came back basically saying we've done no wrong. I have requested this to be escalated but up to this point this hasn't been acknowledged even though I've requested it. The whole process with these solicitors has been one of the most stressful times of our lives and continues to be as they unfortunately are not responding! This continues to add more stress to this . But honestly in my opinion this firm doesn't care. I would NOT recommend this firm of solicitors!!!

The whole experience from selling a house to completing on a purchase of a new house, was done efficiently. Communication between ourselves and Alicea were excellent keeping us up to date at all times.

I had a flat purchase I had an offer accepted on around December time with no chain and vacant with no furniture, and has just gone through at the end of May. It was difficult to tell what was more of a delay from the management company and their solicitors compared with mine, and in fairness I was on holiday for 3 weeks in Chile during Jan time, and Christmas obviously starts with holidays off. I think Stephen was good at answering things on email when I queried things, and appreciate all solicitors are super busy, and I didn't take the priority service. One aspect about Asbestos did drag out for quite a while where I mentioned early on to see if I needed to take samples in the flat itself or not, but the management company kept coming back with reports on the external/the internal (but still outside the flat itself). I think this could have been answered quicker if there was more emphasis on this being an early query with the owner/company so I could grasp how expensive things would be if it turned out I had to remove asbestos, I did also have the issue that my mortgage was getting close to expiry which would have caused some big issues. But then the management company does seem to be pretty poor at communication too upon me trying to contact them. The main reason this didn't get 5 is the ability to communicate was hampered somewhat with email to email sometimes, and difficult to call and get through to anyone, think we only spoke for the authority on exchange so there was less of a personal touch. But again I understand that solicitors need to focus their attention to what they are processing, and the service is cheaper than others who prioritise other qualities, so to some extent I can justify it to 4 stars.

I have now used Robert Crossleys solicitors for my last three moves. They are have been great especially when any legal problems arrive. I would not hesitate in recommending them

This is the third time I have worked with Katie Hutchinson of Roberts Crossley Solicitors to buy or sell a property. Katie is efficient and professional at all times. She responds promptly and timely to requests and is available if you need to contact her in person.
My last sale took longer than expected due to the slow and inefficient practices of the vendors solicitor and Katie provided a sharp contrast and was always pushing and reflecting my best interests.
