Everything the pick up and Delivery were done on time and the staff at both ends were very professional

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Company.
From the initial meeting to discuss my requirements right through to the final delivery of my goods it has been an amazing experience with full ongoing communication throughout
I will be highly recommending this Compsny to anyone looking to relocate

Great company to deal with. Comms were fantastic and the delivery guys were awesome.

Extremely unprofessional.
Every single team that came through my door was complaining about the other team’s job.
The packers were complaining about not the right packaging being delivered. The picking team was complaining about the way things were packed or not packed at all. The delivery team was complaining about the container not being stacked properly.
They left my stuff outside in the rain and went to lunch. They did not deliver all my stuff. When I enquired about the missing items, I was told that they have other customers and they will get to it when they have time. When I said “How much time do you need, it’s been almost three weeks”, I was told that I should learn how to speak to their staff.
They opened my plastic containers because they saw somethig interesting.
They did not finish assembling my single bed (dis-assembled by them), covered it with the mattrass and told me “all done”. That resulted in an injury.

They stopped replying to my emails. There are too many other things, but it would take too long to list/

I would never ever use them and suggest no one should.
Most expensive, horrible service, with trucks not maintained.
They came 1 hour late, 2.5 hours truck breakdown and would not consider a reasonable compensation.
Disturbed all our family plans.
Suggest not to use them.
I should be adequately compensated for the misadventure created due to late arrival by 1 hour, and 2.5 hours of breakdown.
Your Auckland office is uncorporative.
I could have held back the payment, but I did the right thing by making a payment, and now it it is your turn " TO DO THE RIGHT THING"
IT IS YOU WHO SHOULD CONTACT YOUR AUCKLAND OFFICE TO GET THIS SORTED,
INSTEAD IF KICKING ME AROUND.

When I cot a call from the company, the friendly gentleman spoke my African language I was very surprised to speak to him.Thank you. I did have some boxes that was damaged but luckily nothing was missing. the only problem was that 3 of my mirror was broken.1 of my boxes was missing but I did get the missing one 3 days later.

Our experience with Conroy Removals was a great one. Outstanding service from start to finish. Experienced movers made moving from Auckland to Hawkes Bay, stress free. We happily recommend Conroy Removals.

We gave the movers a very hard job to do by having such a large household (4 adults, 2 dogs, a home office and a garage and workshop) and it all went surprisingly well. Only a few minor dings on some furniture but everything survived in the shift from Auckland to Wellington. The guys packing the van in Auckland were fantastic and did such a professional job, and the team unloading the van in Wellington were such a pleasure to deal with. Also thanks to Scott who came round to estimate the job, and Rachel who answered all of the queries. We would definitely recommend Conroys, but we're hoping we don't have to shift again! That is the only negative thing we would say is - shifting is a terrible thing to do to yourself!

Auckland based crew were unprofessional & did not take care of my furniture when loading container. Arrived unprepared. Numerous items of furniture were damaged through negligence. Managed to loose my ladder on route to Napier. Sent a report on my concerns to Branch Manager. Never heard back. Napier base crew were so helpful & did a great job unloading.

Initial contact was good, they were easy with arranging for the pickup and delivery dates (Auckland -> Christchurch). Unfortunately some furniture and boxes were damaged during transport. As far as I understand, the items were not secured properly in the shipping container... Pick up and delivery were quick. The workers who delivered told us that they were not surprised with what happened as the Auckland guys seem to be known for not loading and packing carefully.
I wish i had left a positive comment, but this is what happened to us. IMHO, it could have been easily avoided.

This is the 2nd time ive used Conroy removals 1st was Australia to New Zealand, this time it's from New Zealand to Malta I recommend communication and patience it's helps 100% everyone from Conroy Nz to where my items where shipped to first witch was Netherlands then to Malta where all top people communication back and forth was my wait was 4 months from nz to malta that's where patience comes into it and just wait enjoy life while you wait as there not going to arrive any earlier in saying this my items arrived and so far all items intact obviously ive only gone through 2 boxes out of 18 lol but my boxes still look reasonably great I highly recommend conroy removals as there communication is above and beyond and have always answered my emails with any query in great timing ive never really had to wait no more than a couple of hours for a response ,.

Horrific experience! Learn from our mistake and avoid Conroy at all costs. The movers were extremely late, moaned and swore about the size of our house and were very rough and careless with our belongs. They were supposed to bag all our mattresses and couches but turned up unprepared without these and suggested they wrap them in dirty, dusty moving blankets.
On arrival at our new house, we found several of our items had been damaged due to handling.
After trying to communicate our frustration and disappointment, we were told it was too bad and they wouldn’t be doing anything about it.

The initial communication and engagement went very well. There was communication as well on what is excluded from their quotation, but I don't think they explained the full context and implications.

In my opinion Conroy does not deliver a door-to-door service but only helps you until you are out of NZ. Then you need to deal directly with a third party they only appoint after you have already signed a contract with Conroy. You have no visibility on the conditions between the third party and Conroy but if you want to dispute it you need to pay extra....plus you are effectively held hostage since if you don't comply you don't get your goods.

I had to spend extra time to deliver documents to the recipient country's Customs Office. Conroy stated this was an unforeseen activity but meanwhile it turns out that ALL GOODS coming into the country MUST submit these documents. So this cannot be an unforeseen activity. Turns out the third party could have done this on my behalf, BUT I had to pay extra for it as they excluded it in their quote to Conroy. If I pay for a door-to-door service and this is a compulsory activity I would expect it to be included in the quote OR I would be briefed on what would be expected from me when I arrive in order to better plan for the time it will take.

Customs at the recipient country also did random container inspections. (Again an exclusion from the Conroy quote). So I get selected, they inspect my goods and I am informed I will need to pay for the costs incurred by the inspection. Unfortunately no-one can tell me how much this cost will be. Eventually I receive an invoice for about 10% of the amount my relocation costs. Turns out I have to pay for the delay in offloading the ENTIRE Container Ship since my container's inspection caused the delay....a delay caused by a random inspection by Customs which found no fault with my goods - but now I need to pay for the ship's delay.

I would have had a much better experience if the third party was appointed before I signed the contract and I was better informed of what would be expected of me when arriving in the other country. Then I could have negotiated some additional allowances upfront without feeling forced into a situation. Similarly, if Customs does random inspections which cause delays, surely this is a risk that should be incorporated in the original shipping logistics with the costs spread across ALL cargo. Instead the costs are loaded on the unlucky fellow which gets randomly selected by Customs.

Be careful of the fine print and don't accept these open ended exclusions.

We were kept informed before the arrival of our goods by container in Auckland harbour. Lynn was very efficient in the communication. Also the the guys who delivered the goods were very pleasant to deal with.
Overall a very good experience!

We moved from the USA back to NZ. Conroys and the US team were professional and made the move seamless. Conroys were even able to deliver early over the Christmas break. Thanks.

Collected on time. Little miscommunication between branches of storage to delivery; however, at the end everything sort out and all good.
