The hotel was good and the person who advised us on walks was keen and knowledgeable. We could have benefited from something to bring collett’s travellers together such as a welcome drink. There was a lot of people for the guide to get through in office hours so we felt we couldn’t impose too much. An offer of one guided walk during the week would have been excellent.

Fantastic personal support on the admin side, and a brilliant guide in the Pyrenees - caring, professional, and encouraging.

The hotel was lovely with great food, but the value added by Collett's mountain guide is what made the trip great. Her advice on the hike, how to get there, and the written and map directions were extremely valuable. Ayelen even traced all the hikes that I did with her markers on my big topographic map! I enjoyed meeting with her every evening.

Penny and Henry made our stay extremely enjoyable. The guided hikes were excellent, the room spacious clean and luxurious. We would gladly come again!

I would definitely recommend a walking holiday to the Yorkshire Dales by Collett’s.
They were so welcoming. The holiday included breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals which were excellent, being freshly made by Henry and with local ingredients supporting local businesses as much as possible. Our stay at Eastfield Lodge was very comfortable.
Our host, Henry and our guide, Penny were most accommodating and helpful, going out of their way to make us all feel at home and ably accommodated varying levels of walkers each day to our satisfaction and enjoyment.
I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.

Wonderful experience! As first time hikers Penny was a great guide, who understood and made accommodations for all levels of hikers. We met some beautiful people and had lots of fun and laughs. The Dale are stunningly beautiful. East field lodge very homely and comfortable.

The holiday information and booking process is excellent, we were able to reserve our spot and then sort out our flights.
Everything in Spain was as described and ran perfectly on time. The apartment was modern, clean and in a great location with very good facilities.
Gustavo the hotel owner was a bundle of energy, seamlessly looking after UK and German guests side by side.
Mick the Collett’s walking guide was the star of the week, he was very clear about the itinerary and what was needed in terms of food and water and careful to ensure the walks suited everyone. As a “local” he was full of information about the area.
A real asset to the company.
The hotel staff were also excellent, special mention to Daniella who smiled all week.

A very well organized tour and absolutely stunningly beautiful walks. Our guide, Penny, managed the group like I’ve never seen before - those of us that wanted to walk faster and more were accommodated as were the few that wanted to walk less. Penny took us to places you would never find on your own and created experiences (Jenny’s farm visit was the highlight) that created memories for a lifetime. The logistics are completely taken care of you just have to walk!

A great guide and a week of beautiful walks. May is the best time to visit because of the flowers in that area of Spain.
Collets are a well organised and receptive holiday company.

These guys are one of the best.....they go more than an extra mile to find what your looking for. We didn't book in the end due to logistics but will do next time if we head back to the Dolimites.

Accommodated is in all respects, transport and accommodation in particular.Enjoyed eating breakfast outdoors.

Great holiday. Superb location. Accommodation was good and had fabulous views. Great food choices. The walks were wonderful. Excellent guide. And the add ons, like a trip to a bodega, and lunch in the hills in a fabulous bar/cafe/restaurant were the icing on the cake. Also had great company in the other guests. Thoroughly recommend this as a wonderful authentic experience which immerses you in Andalucia .

Great communications from start to finish. Whole holiday very well thought out by Collettes. Would definitely recommend this company.

We’ve already submitted a thorough survey and a letter to Dee. We liked the route. The hotels were well selected. The breakfasts were fabulous and the dinners filling. That said, the package of materials we received failed on many counts. The French map was the wrong scale. The daily maps were put canid focus. The directions were often incomprehensible. And the apps were frustrating with the first one non functional and the second one incorrect or incomplete in many ways.

Excellent walks with a very knowledgeable guide. The hotel was very basic with indifferent service. A beautiful area with many pretty villages. We would like to go back but not to the same accommodation.
