Having a team in the village who knew the area extremely well & had great suggestions for what to do.

What sets Colletts apart is their staff. Enthusiastic and helpful, they really go beyond to make sure their clients have the best experience including adapting the walks to suit individual preferences or suggesting entirely new routes once they understand what people particularly enjoy

From the first point of contact, it felt like a great choice, that only continued to deliver. I wanted to take the thinking out of organising, Collets did it all, great communication, lots of walking options, maps, route cards, GPS and a walking guide to help plan appropriately. It was a wonderful few days, with a great selection of walks, returning to comfortable accommodation and delicious food! I would book again, it was great to have every element planned with local knowledge and experience.

Went to Dolomites for a walking holiday this summer with Colletts. They made it a pleasure - from prompt responses to queries before booking to excellent information pre trip. In resort our walk team was fantastic with tailored suggestions for hikes with in depth knowledge of the region. The walk notes and app ensured we were always on the right path! Booking with Colletts really enhanced our experience to ensure we had a wonderful holiday - cant wait for our next trip with them!

The area was great, the hotel was fabulous and Ben and Conny made office hour a delight as they were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. Oh, and as for the swimming lakes.....they we're lifesavers as it was so hot! We shall be returning as we enjoyed it so much. Thank you.

Good hotel with heated outdoor pool. Food generally good.
Walking was excellent in beautiful setting and catered to all levels. Conny and Ben were very helpful particularly on advising best hikes to undertake in temperatures in mid 30C.
Only downside was the chaotic travel from Munich to Ehrwald on both inbound and outbound which was outside control of Colletts which we understand is an ongoing issue.

The booking system is well organised and the level of supporting information provided for whilst you are on holiday is excellant.
The daily Office Hour in resort is really useful, and the resort Team are very knowledgeable, giving lots of tips and info.

A delightful holiday in July in the Dolomites. The hotel (Christian) was very clean and comfortable, with excellent food for both breakfast and the multi-course dinners. The Collett's representatives were very helpful in selecting routes and providing perspective and suggestions of variations. Having them available really made such a difference in the trip. I've done and still do walking holidays on my own, but Collett's business model and selection of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful representatives really helps put the "holiday" in holiday.

Detailed walk packs and fantastic guides that recommended walks that were perfect for our group.

Really enjoyed our holiday in Erhwald, Austria. Great walking pack provided, guides available in the evenings to discuss walks. Hotel was great, food lovely. Would highly recommend Collets mountain holidays, we'd definitely use them again.

Good selection of hotels and efficient transportation to/from the village. Ewa was very helpful in rearranging the bus back to reflect the flight times of everyone.

I recently (July 2026) went on Collett's Pyrenees Peaks and Passes hiking trip and the company did a great job with the accommodations and transportation. Our guide, Chema was wonderful and made this a great experience.
The only issue was the hotel was not air conditioned and it was hot when we were there.

We had a fantastic week on our centre based holiday in the Dolomites. This is our second year with Collett’s (last year Swiss Alps) and once again, we cannot fault the holiday. The hotel (La Tambra) was great as was the food and views. The walks we did were amazing. We really appreciated meeting up with Ewa and Karo each evening. Their knowledge of the walks, tips and advice were invaluable. The transfers to and from the airport were so helpful and all went smoothly. We will definitely book with Collett’s again.

Well organised, great guide, great trekking experience

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week in Corvara with Colletts, and honestly can’t fault a single part of the experience. From the moment we booked, communication was clear and helpful, and the transfer arrangements (including our time in Venice beforehand) were smooth and well organised.
Our accommodation at Sporthotel Panorama was excellent — comfortable, well located, and a great base for exploring Val Badia. What really made the holiday, though, was our guide, who met with us every evening to talk us through the next day’s walk, sharing tips on routes, timings, and things to look out for along the way. That personal touch made all the difference and gave us real confidence heading out each morning.
We’d happily book with Colletts again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering a walking holiday in the Dolomites.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious and we really appreciated the incomparable way they sorted our friend's garlic intolerance.
Your reps were proactive, helpful and interested.
We made good use of our bus and lift oasses and walked every day in such great surroundings.
