1.Extremely poor work environment with no structured or proper training, especially for critical tasks like payment handling and retention issues.

2.Team leader Shoham showed clear inequality in treatment and My personal opinion is that his behavior was not proper. He was more favourable and communicative with others but consistently ignored me.

3.After I met with a road accident while returning from work, I informed the team leader shoham properly.
There was zero concern, zero response, and no basic human empathy shown. 😒

4.Despite repeated messages and emails, my team leader did not reply at all.
After two weeks, he suddenly contacted me through mail only to question my leaves and performance, instead of addressing the situation professionally.👎

4.I was forced to handle chats and close tickets without proper knowledge, and when I raised concerns, I was told:
“If you can work in team you work , orelse whats the necessity of you working here?” this was told by team lead shoham
5.Work was assigned even after logout hours, and I personally worked 1–2 extra hours frequently without support or recognition. 💁‍♀️

6.Promised monthly reviews were never conducted, showing complete negligence from management.🙅‍♀️

7.Overall, this company lacks basic professionalism, structured training, employee care, and ethical leadership. 🤢

8.I am sharing this review so that future employees are aware and do not face the same treatment I did.

9.Also next whoever joins the company think before joining into operations, see for which team you join and see who the team leader is, So that you people wont face what I faced.

The worst experience we’ve ever had. We kept receiving calls urging us to renew our subscription, with claims that we were running out of lessons—when in fact we still had over 30 remaining. Based on this misinformation, we renewed, believing our credits were nearly used up.
After canceling the classes, we discovered we actually had 73 lessons left—enough to last more than a year. This has been the most deceitful company we’ve ever dealt with.
Additionally, the quality of the classes is unacceptable. Teachers often struggle to stay awake, arrive late, or end lessons 15 minutes early. The customer service representatives are also extremely rude.
Please avoid this company at all costs.

Ms.Fergana Majees is such an amazing patient teacher..She teaches my kid very well and has brought so much interest in mathematics for her..she is very dedicated teacher her.

Extremely disappointed. I wish I would have checked online comments before. They are scammers. They will promise anything initially after you sign they will disappear and will do anything to ignore you. They are expert in that. Don’t know customer service very unprofessional, unethical and don’t keep up with what they promise to offer . They told me I can cancel classes anytime in first 15 days and will get full refund and everything is recorded and you will get recording too but nothing was sent and they did nothing about that no refund so far. And no apologies for misinforming and false information all they said is we will still deduct $200 for cancelling classes. It has been 3 weeks no one cared to resolve. They just needs sales. BEWARE of these SCAMERS otherwise your money will be lost and you will be crying like me. They are not willing to refund. Promised to send recording in 10 minutes never received. Don’t know how to talk to customers whose money they are stealing. Clearly told me over the phone that our rep gave you wrong information but we will do nothing to fix that

Not processional, not ethical

Codeyoung was a very good site for coding, and I learned a lot. But for the 4 stars, there was one problem, Codeyoung kept calling me over, and over, and over—It felt like they knew every single number—even if I had blocked them; they asked me to enroll in coding classes even though I already had, which was a little annoying.

I had an awesome coding experience with them, they were utterly nice to me when I was a kid, and they have very nice instructors—and the instructor I specifically had was very nice—and every time I had a class, I wanted to go so badly. Everything Codeyoung taught me was awesome, and I am still a Codeyoung liker to this day—awesome teaching—recommend it, but tell them that you are getting spams, if you even do.

Awesome experience, it deserves five stars—unfortunately, spam calls bring it down to a 4-star experience, still awesome—recommend it.

I scheduled a free class for my son 6 years ago and did not continue or enroll. Ever since that class I have been getting non stop calls trying to make me enroll even though I have told them multiple times to please remove my number and stop contacting me. I get around 2-3 calls per day. Please stop calling me and give the feedback

Efficient and very punctual and teaches with a focused and keen interest by making the students understand very well.

My experience with Codeyoung was extremely disappointing and, honestly, felt like a scam. The quality of teachers were poor, and many of them seemed unprepared and disengaged during classes. Several sessions started late, and in some cases the teacher did not join on time at all, wasting our scheduled class hours.
The no‑refund policy is very frustrating, especially given the service quality.
Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and not worth the money. I would not recommend Codeyoung to parents looking for reliable and well‑managed online classes.

I don't know how to block these code young marketing calls. I have blocked atleast 10 different numbers and they are still calling me with a new number. Seems like they paying more money to these callers than instructor.
I hope the top leadership will read these calls and work with genuine interested learners.

Don’t even fill their demo - they will torture you with ongoing calls from different numbers never ending . Never seen a more Coptic company than this - trust me this is the worst company parents please save yourselves . Don’t even try even after 4 years consistently torturing with calls every single day

My mentor, Keshav Vig, is an outstanding teacher. He helps me all the time when I need it, and he is overall such a good guy and is always nice to me. He doesn't yell when he wants to get the message across; he simply says it in a nice tone, and I understand it from the start. I am grateful for the time I had with him as my teacher.

This has been a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. I signed up for what I believed was a one-month trial, but without clear consent, Codeyoung set up recurring monthly charges through my PayPal account and continued billing even after I stopped classes.

The quality of instruction was unacceptable. The teacher appeared unprepared, at times disengaged, and even inattentive during sessions, leaving my child to struggle through problems with little meaningful guidance—wasting most of the scheduled time.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve this and request a refund, I have received no satisfactory response. The lack of transparency, poor service delivery, and difficulty in obtaining a refund raise serious concerns.

I strongly advise others to exercise caution and fully understand the billing terms before signing up.

We started with codeyoung when my son was just 6 and he is 8 now and loves to code. The classes are interactive and he is getting good at thinking and solving problems on his own. He understands coding much better now and even tries to make small games by himself. Teacher also shares proper feedback. Happy we signed him up here.

These people are scammers. Everything was fine until I made the payment. Before paying, they were very responsive and clearly promised to allocate the same teacher for my kids’ classes.

My kids completed the trial class with the teacher while we are based in Australia. But after the payment, they changed their story and said that teacher is only available for America. This was never explained before payment.

On top of that, they have now blocked our numbers, and we cannot contact them at all.

This is extremely unprofessional, misleading, and dishonest. Please be very careful before making any payment to them.

Don’t trust this company. Unethical.

Enrolled my child for coding after looking at all the positive reviews. It was a bad decision - the company has no morals or ethics. The instructors were sleeping during class, scolding my child, not motivated or engaged, and just not professional. And upon complaining, all they do is assign a different instructor. We have now worked with 3-4 instructors and can say that it's no different. Upon asking for our money back, they just ignore you or make it so difficult / frustrating that it simply looks like a SCAM. Swaraj seems to have been trained to not listen and borderline mock you for spending so much money with only one trial class experience!

It is such a shame that graduates from IIT Delhi (Shailendra Dhakad and Rupika Taneja) are engaging in such a a SCAM.

I hope I can influence potential parents to STAY AWAY and save their peace and money!

I enrolled my child for public speaking class and it was a miserable experience. Now, she is dealing with a 4th instructor and none of these instructors has any clue on what they are doing. Absurd curriculum and pathetic execution.

I would like to add the following after seeing the generic copy‑and‑paste response under my review. Based on my experience, reaching out to their support only leads to more scripted replies, and nothing actually changes.

So, I stand by my original review and want to emphasize this:

SCAM-LIKE LEGIT BUSINESS

Please read before you decide to enroll your kid.

I can’t believe I’m here typing another review after this organization asked me to take down my previous review because they were going to process my refund (claimed it was a misunderstanding, and I felt I reacted too quickly). It’s been months, and I haven’t gotten the said refund. I have picture proof of these messages.

I wanted to trust Codeyoung, but the dishonesty and the need to just charge users are appalling.
I did their trial class and wanted to enroll to keep my child busy during the winter holiday. I was sent a bill for 17 months of classes, and I called the customer care rep to inform them that I only wanted to enroll for one month.

After they tried to convince me, they agreed to book me for only one month, and the lady said I could always reach out if I wanted to continue enrolling in the classes.
Imagine my surprise when I saw that I was charged without calling to confirm that I wanted to continue the classes. I called to let them know, and they wouldn't do a refund for an error that they made. If they had been honest up front, I would have found another activity for my child.
The teacher was great, but if you are looking for something short-term, better not to enroll with Codeyoung.
