A great affordable coal merchant
Start to finish was a positive experience and I’m glad out of the plethora of coal merchants to choose from im glad I used Coaldrop.
Good communication,good delivery personnel and a great all round company with knowledgeable people who can advise and deliver a wonderful service.

Great service
First time we have used coal drop and we were very impressed with the whole process, from ordering to delivery. They called to say they had a lorry in our area on an earlier date than was originally available enabling us to get our delivery earlier than expected. Great communication and will definitely use again.

Great customer service.
After an initial hiccup with the delivery, Tom at coal Drop did everything he could to get my delivery sorted. Tom is such a good problem solver, which in my opinion is a major asset for any business. I will defintly use Coal Drop again as I am assured of great customer service, which I really value. Also Tom and his dad , who I spoke to briefly on the phone, come across as really nice people.

Excellent service
Prompt delivery on the day specified, the tonne of Excel being very well wrapped and dry despite the rain. (Previously, the same product from other suppliers has arrived wet through). And best of all, the delivery driver who went the extra mile to get the pallet as near to the address as possible

Coal Drop
After a couple of days research I found that this company was the only one that I could find that offered a combination pallet. This is my first order. What a brilliant idea for a novice fist timer like myself.
The company are easy to deal with and very informative. Delivery was easy and straightforward with the driver being particularly helpful.
I will be ordering again.

Really easy to order from website. I then receieved a phone call from a pleasant man who explained the next steps regarding delivery.
I was then kept fully informed of delivery date etc. and then on the day was able to track my delivery.
Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

OXBOW RED COAL- Game Changer
We purchased OXBOW RED coal from your company for the first time in February 2025.
Your company and customer service were first class as was the delivery.
You recommended to us to try the coal as we were having burning/ash/heat issues with what we had been using. What a difference, RED OXBOW was a game changer for us. The coal burns really hot, there’s very little ash and it burns all night long. We have two log burners and we now have a lovely warm house all day/night long. Cleaning both is an easy task as there is very little ash remaining after the burn.
We will definitely recommend this coal to all our neighbours and friends and we will definitely be re ordering very soon.

Couldn’t be easier ordered one ton of coal delivered the next week on a day of my choosing after a phone call from John.
Delivery driver was excellent moving the pallet of coal from his lorry into my garage,a very friendly man got on with great. many thanks to all involved.. Will buy again and why not.

Only issue was I was told driver would call 30 mi uses before delivery but instead he turned up and dropped the load when I was not there leaving me to man handle 1 ton of call 50 yards which at 70 years of age was no easy task

We always request that drivers call all our customers at least 30 minutes before their arrival. However, as most of our deliveries are fulfilled by 3rd party couriers, we can't guarantee the drivers of these delivery companies will follow their given instructions, to the letter. Once fuel orders leave our coal yard we have no direct control of your order's journey to you. None-the-less as you our our customer we sincerely apologies for the inconvenience this caused you. Your experience matters deeply to us, and so we’ll be reviewing communication from your local depot to ensure better communication going forward.
