I spent a week here in October 2024, with my sister and her family. I normally travel alone and avoid hotels popular with British tourists, so I know this has definitely skewed my opinion of some of the elements of this hotel so have rated it average.

PROS
- Easy to navigate for such a large hotel complex
- Lovely lake area, nice for a late afternoon or early evening stroll
- Free access to water park just across the road (the kids loved this)
- Very friendly and helpful staff
- Large variety of food which changed on a daily basis.
- Very nice breakfast
- Inclusive WiFi
- Good location to walk into Old Town or to the harbour and also to catch the bus into other areas of the island.
- Had a lovely mountain view towards old town.

CONS
- Far too many Brits. I didn't feel like I was overseas until I travelled away from the area.
- Very little choice with drinks for alcohol free adults (other all inclusive resorts I've stayed in have provided mocktails).
- Food was often quite bland
- Have to keep a cup for all inclusive drinks - a real pain in the neck, never had this anywhere before and really didn't like this.
- Walls of hotel rooms like paper, can hear everything from either side and even above. Noise from children running up and down corridors and screaming and shouting all night also didn't help.
- Constant smell of cannabis wafting into room.
- Air con did not work
- Room cleaning wasn't great.
- I've never seen such a small balcony at any hotel before.

I did have a lovely holiday as I was able to explore the island, but this is not a hotel that I would revisit. It was my sister and her family's second time here and I know they love all the facilities for families at the hotel including the entertainment.

Recently returned from a week in October at Club Mac. I'd read reviews beforehand and just my partner and I stayed. Firstly, we found the rooms and areas always clean and tidy. The staff are all very friendly and couldn't do more to help. The food choices differed every day especially with the hot show areas. Yes they put on salads and a variety of food just for kids every day but always found something to eat which was hot and tasty. They may just use a little too much garlic in some foods, not to my taste. The restaurants do a different theme night every night. The rooms are a reasonable size, our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice, just could do with a little attention to the floor tiles. The shower over the bath was excellent and powerful. Plenty of daytime activities for kids, the pools are mainly for kids too but the adult pools were good with separate terrace area where we lounged as it was a bit quieter. Loads to do in terms of rifle shooting, archery, table tennis, pool tables, football, tennis courts. Special Club Mac bus every half hour to the beach, no charge. Or walk it in about 20 minutes. The water park over the road is fun, we had a great time. Free entry for club mac all inclusive, about 7 euros for a locker with key pad so can go in and out whenever, if you want sunbed also have to pay extra and also for food and drinks. We just left the water park and popped back to hotel for lunch. Evening entertainment excellent, all tribute acts in Circus Bar, Tina Turner Michael Jackson Bob Marley and more. Live professional singers in the quadrangle between hotels. The lake has pedalos, these are free between 10am and 1pm. The min train runs 3-4pm and the mini golf is great fun, when down by the lake or by the golf, archery and shooting areas be sure to apply your mosquito repellent, you will need it in those areas particularly. All in all we had a good stay. Rated a 4 simply because we experienced some noise as the room walls appear very thin and the balconies are really small. Also sometimes the smell of drains was quite unpleasant, and for all inclusive drinks they are strict on measures, just finally, we'd go again but we'd definitely take the kids and grandchildren they'd love it especially the free ice cream and range of pools and activities. Thanks to the team they really look after their guests !! We had a good time. Oh and as it was my birthday while away, they knocked the door with a bottle of bubbly in ice with glasses and personal written birthday wish, a lovely touch and unexpected. The staff even sang happy birthday in the evening.

Hectic during day and night but it is a family resort kids love it.
Food not brilliant but plenty of choice
They left me a bottle of bubbly in ice bucket in room for my birthday which was a nice touch.
Kids never get bored lots of pools good kids activities.
Plenty of free coffee machines dotted around.
Most staff ok but a couple of rude arrogant ones.
Anyone can enter the site which is a security concern
Got well attacked by mozzies but you can anywhere.
Kids own bars is brilliant idea
Very noisy with excited kids but it is a family resort ( ear plugs cure this ).
Would say overall stay was 8/10

Absloutely ace for kids my grandkids 9 and 7 loved it and wanted to live there.
I would take them again they could simply be kids.
You cant just go by other peoples reviews everyone has different expectations you need to try it for yourself
I have been to some resorts which i would never return to but this 1 is well worth a try if taking kids.
Try it you will not be disappointed

Hotel was nice with lots to do BUT it's like chav central. Kids running round doing what they want being WILD, let the place down to be honest. Food not the best at all, sometimes cold and undercooked and seemed to be the same food over and over again. Beers flatter than my butt cheeks. Rooms OK but balconies tiny. Added bonus of the onsite laundry, 4.50 for the washer and 4.50 for the drier. Lots of mosquitos so make sure you go prepared. We LOVED the water park, 5 euros for a lounger but it was worth it so we didn't have to listen to the kids running wild and parents getting pissed round the pool at the hotel. 'Entertainment' and I call it that loosely was AWFUL. Definitely won't be booking again.

First time to club Mac and it was way better then expected, nowhere is perfect, however this was as close as a family holiday goes, staff very friendly and very helpful in the main, lots to do and lots we didn’t get around to doing, clean rooms, good quality food with lots to choose from, clean pools, clean complexes, evening entertainment with some really good and some not so much, the only real down side was the mosquitoes…. However I think we will be going back as it has everything for the whole family. I’d definitely recommend it

I just returned from this resort from a 2 week stay I hoped it would be as good as the last time I went a couple years ago but u was wrong this resort has gone down hill!! First of all there is no control kids running everywhere especially in the restaurants picking at food when it says parents should accompany them. The food is cold had to warm it up in the microwave which you don't come on holiday to do also the profiteroles from desert were frozen. The room that's I stayed in had a leak in the bathroom right above the toilet and another leak from the fridge. Police were also called one night from a fight in the circus theatre as well as security running after people who had jumped in the pool at night it doesn't stop I will bot be returning!!!!

THE GOOD
The food was OK even though it was repetitive. We tried the Jupiter and Marte and even though they serve the same food we found Marte was slightly better laid out, quieter and food was not coated with oregano compared to the Jupiter.
The room was clean but very small, the balcony was ridiculously small, enough for 2 people and you would still touching.
The drinks were a decent, soft and alcoholic alike, irritating you had to pay 2 euro for your glasses, not sure why they do this for adults ( is it to show alcohol or to be environmentally friendly however if the latter is the case they should do this for kids too). Even though all inclusive we were made aware there that certain drinks eg pink gin which wasn't branded was only available to premium paying customers. The ice creams were mini cone with a blob of ixlce cream on top and tended to melt very quickly.
Kettle was provided in the the room however not sugar coffee or milk was provided.
THE BAD
Fridge in room kept leaking and ended with a puddle on the floor on many occasions. Stench from sewers was not only on the room and in complex but also on street. Maid had pulled down curtain, when trying to use phone to contact reception there was no information of number and had to google this (info press 9 for reception).
The lake was marvellous breeding ground for mosquitos. Most people on the complex had several bites on them.
Extra cost for boasting, fun world etc.
Had to pay for sun loungers at water park 5 euro for each bed with lots for older children who can swim and limited for younger children.
Night entertainment consisted of odd random acts quite late, quite a few fights witness with the clientele.
Some parents not controlling there kids and kids extremely rude when confronted by other adult especially around the pool area.
Left the complex to go to the english and irish bar nearby which both offered more conducive entertainment/atmosphere for both adults and children.
Lift were dirty even the smell of sick in one them for a couple days.
Staff were generally helpful and pleasant.
Will not be returning, very over priced for what it offers.

Small room.
Dangerous balconies: high with inadequate railings.
Inadequate AC.
Filthy overcrowded pools.
Flat drinks.
Elevators regularly not working.

Food was very good. Rooms cleaned every day, new sheets and towels.

I would never go back.

They tried to serve the wrong meal twice , when they finally cooked what I had ordered every one had already eaten , made the whole experience very awkward, no offer of representation on the cost of the meal , server seemed to laugh the matter off, very disappointing

There was 10 of us in total that went , 5 adults and 5 children 7,5,3,3 and 11 months . We were abit sceptical about going after reading the reviews online , however we had a lovely week away !
The rooms were quite small which was slightly annoying as we had a double pushchair, travel cot and 3 suitcases to navigate round .. the balcony is very small and not safe for young children we kept ours closed at all times.
Sunbeds were hard to get as people were putting towels down at 6:45 in morning, so had to make sure we were up early to get a bed . Lots of different pools and lots to do with kids . Food was fine , different cuisine, lots to choose from and great desserts! Entertainment wasn’t the best at night , one night entertainment stopped around 9:30 and Mr bean came on the screen .. found it quite strange . Last orders were 11 at one bar and lights were out at 11:15 which was annoying as you still had your drink . Drinks were ok , nice cocktails .
Lots to do outside of complex , we got the bus to can picafort where there is a lovely beach and lots of bars restaurants and shops .
Waterpark was fun , lots of slides for all different ages.
Overall we had a nice week away . Would go back again

Loved Club Mac! Extremely clean and well presented. Loads to do during the day & night. They have everything you could need on the complex, shop, doctors, hairdresser etc Usually buffet style meals are not a favourite of mine, but was really impressed with the quality of food, and the variety. Would defo go back and highly recommend

1st time at club mac and can honestly say we had a fantastic holiday and will 100% be returning, my little girl loved it, hotel was clean and well maintained, there was always staff cleaning, they were all very nice people, the food was what you expect for spain, my little girl is a fussy eater and always found something to eatand drink, we met some lovely
familys, entertainment was brilliant. And as for the mosquitoes we didn't get bitten once while there.....

I was really put off by the reviews read after booking but all in all had a great stay at Club Mac and would go back, the hotel itself is clean, well looked after, the rooms are cleaned to high standard daily. The cleaners are lovely too as are the hotel staff & canteen staff. The food was great, lots to choose from, lovely food and well presented. None of us (family of 5 went hungry). There were a small minority of families who just get drunk, swear and don't watch their kids but the majority of people there were lovely family orientated and approachable! The water park is amazing, lots to do, very fun for kids, a great added extra.** Put water shoes on children you could fry an egg on the floor!** also under 6s must wear armbands. The shuttle to the beach took about 5 minutes or less, free bus outside the hotel.. The beach is the most beautiful cleanest clear sea I've ever seen, you can walk out for miles, so safe for children also can see fish, favourite part of out holiday. Cheaper braids also at the beach. Don't be put off by the 'cold pools' comments, they're like everywhere we've ever been they were constantly packed with children having fun in and out, mine included. I also think the last comment below relating to 'Council house people' is absolutely disgusting, I myself am from a council estate, have a great job and raise my children right, I agree a small minority ruin the place but such an obnoxious and self-righteous comment to make, very small minded person. All in all fantastic holiday. Please don't be put off and enjoy yourselves. The only reason I marked a 4 is the smell outside of Pluto, awful smell made me heave and the balconies are so low i had to move a unit being on floor 7 with such young children gave me anxiety but i resolved the issue with the cabinet.

Second time we've been here, both experience have been the same. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and well managed, rooms are cleaned daily, there's a good selection of food on offer, including some nice deserts. There are plenty of staff on the bar meaning little to no queues, there's a good selection of drink on offer as well. There are plenty of sunbeds, the pools are nice with shaded and sunny areas and there's a good selection of entertainment on during the day and evening. The bus into town is handy and large, with a super friendly driver.

The problem comes with the guests, there are some lovely people but there are some absolute utter low life scum who don't care about their kids or any guests, all they care about is smoking, drinking and eating. They will leave kids to run riot, completely unsupervised, a few examples below.

Kid 1 - Threw a inflatable on top of our 8 year olds head who was in the pool, then jumped on the inflatable whacking my kids head and forcing him underwater. I had to drag our kid out to stop him drowning, no parents to be seen, kid on inflatable laughing.

Kid 2 - Using a water gun on everyone, whether you were in the pool, on the sun beds, waiting at the bar, playing pool, dressed with suit case ready to go home, everyone would get a face full, no parents to be seen.

Kids 3 - A mob of traveller kids in Funworld, unsupervised, on a bouncy castle using it as a boxing arena. I saw multiple kids go on to play, only to come out within seconds holding their faces and sobbing, some kids had visible marks on their face. Staff challenged the kids but the kids didn't care, the parents had left them in Funworld while they went to the entertainment. Same mob then went on the bouncy slide, pushing kids as young as 4 full force from the top of the slide, could have broke a kids neck.

It's not just kids though, some parents are also rude and obnoxious. We had a parent throw our items off a sunbed, then claimed it as their own, despite their being ample beds. When we asked why our things were thrown on the floor, we were hit with verbal abuse, swearing and threats of violence in front of their 4 young kids and ours. There are parents who will push past you like you don't exist at the bar, same at the restaurant. Travellers and council types are the problem with this place, it seems to attract them and they are extremely rude, obnoxious with zero parenting skills or interest, their only interest is to eat and drink as much as possible and have a week off from "parenting".

There are a lot of "normal", friendly guests however. There were kids that were lovely and polite, parents that we got chatting to who were lovely but these are in the minority unfortunately, the majority are the types you'd cross the road to avoid. It's such a shame that people have to be so selfish and don't care about their kids, as the hotel is lovely. If you plan on going, be fully aware on who you will be mixing with and that you're best off keeping yourself to yourself.

THE GOOD,

The kitchen and dining staff were friendly and the food wasn’t bad for a 3 star. There were plenty of choice but had to queue at times if not down early enough. The best restaurant to eat in out of the three is definitely Jupiter.

Free entry to the hydro park is great and a nice escape from the hotel grounds and so is the free bus to the beach every half hour return, again a great escape to the beautiful beach and harbour.

Our hotel room was nice but small, with a tiny balcony. We had a room facing the back of the hotel facing the mountains and the hydro park, it was nice and quiet which we preferred. The cleaners however, just made our beds and emptied the bins. No cleaning mirrors or mopping floors or proper cleaning of bath/shower and toilet.

THE BAD
The very first sight we saw on our approach as we pulled up to the hotel was two of the staff snogging eachother at 2pm in the afternoon. We stood at the reception desk to check-in only to be told we had to pay a tax and a deposit for these cards which we had to exchange at the bar for our plastic drink beakers which we had to do throughout our stay. Lose your plastic beakers then lose your deposit!! We were also told our room wasn’t ready for a few hours!

Whilst waiting for our room we took a walk around the hotel grounds and disembarked on what looked like a butlins holiday with a stagnate boating lake, a run down park and fun world. Looking around you could of called it “ Club Chav”! Now I’m not being snobby as I’m far from it, I grew up on a council estate. The worst thing was to greet us was the stench of cigarette and vaping smoke, it was literally everywhere. There was meant to of been designated areas for this, yeah right!! Maybe that was the attraction for the Club Chav customers and the “all you can drink watered down drinks” whilst kids were left to run feral not knowing where their parents were half the time! One night a guy waded his way through “chav city”shouting “has anyone lost any kids”!!!!

Someone in reviews said the burger bar by the stagnant lake was amazing? I was looking forward to gourmet burgers, the cheap McDonald’s saver burgers taste better! Staff there had no personality and chucked the orders together of the lovely selection of burgers, chips, hotdogs & chicken nuggets lol!

The entertainment we never stayed up for as it was on at 9.45pm in the arena near “Mosquito City” by the Lake. We played pool with our boys aged 9 and 11 and played the arcade games so take plenty of extra money for that lol. In fairness the boys enjoyed doing that and there was plenty of pool tables and mini arcades games. Evening bar staff were quite moody.

We was reluctant to sit around the pool areas because of the stench of cigarette and vape smoke, the beach and the hydro park was definitely a lifesaver. Alcudia Market and the old town was nice and lots of nice little restaurants there if you was self catering ect.

THE UGLY
Our youngest caught Hand, Foot & Mouth disease and was quite poorly for a few days, spending a full day in our hotel room with a temperature and sickness, no wonder they was squirting hand sanitizer on you as you entered the dinning areas maybe they knew it was going about ! Our eldest then caught it on our return home.

Towards end of our stay we were greeted by a big rat running around the hotel grounds however the hotel is surrounded by wasteland and it was the end of season and not many people left in the hotel as it shut on the Tuesday (it was Sunday) and rats are not daft and it was probably their time lol. After we checked out waiting for our coach to arrive we sat on a bench near the exit and our final site was a mass pool of sick which was as much accommodating as our initial approach to the amazing world of “Club Chav”! It’s definitely a world of it’s own and if you like a good drink and a smoke and let the kids run wild, Cub Mac is the place for you. I would return to Alcudia but never again to Club Mac, although we did make the best of the situation.

One final word and this comes from a review we read where someone really enjoyed their many stays at Club Mac and return every year….in their words and this phrase we kept repeating many a time and always will, lol “CLUB MAC, YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!” well you have got to laugh 😂 🙏

Poorly run place rude staff extra charges all the while teling you things are free then try change you for them example €5 if you want a sit down in the water park was supposed to all inclusive what a croc of ##it we will never come to this island agin or club Mac

I have just returned 2 days ago . I went for 6 days with jet2. I got a solo discount for my room. I had arranged to meet friends there. Including 2 special needs adults. They had a great time. They loved the shows. they were treated respectfully by the staff. The food was good and there is something available from early morning to the burger bar at midnight. The place was very busy for October. Mostly families with small kids. My only gripe as a disabled 60yr woman is, that out 8 swimming pools I couldn't get in or out of any of them because the access is all straight up ladders with none of the pools with a slope or steps.
Bring mosquitoe repellent. Oh boy! They were relentless. Not so much in the rooms but specially in the circus area by the lake . The security was visible and any small sign of trouble was dealt without escalation. You've got to expect an all inclusive resort to have daytime drinkers. I felt it was a safe environment for everyone. I would recommend Club Mac

Arrived sey 19th 2023 for 10 nights.
Had an amazing time and the staff were very lovely and extremely hard working not a crumb was left on the floor for more than a second before a member of staff were cleaning it up , The rooms were cleaned everyday.
The complex was large and plenty of pools/entertainment and restruants and bars
Free bus to the beach and the driver was always happy and polite.
I can not fault this hotel/staff/entertainment one little bit and we absolutely 100% would come back.

After leaving the airport we were the 10th drop off. The driver couldn't tell us what the next hotel would be, there was no rep on board. My husband who is disabled had to fight for a seat at the front of the coach. On arrival at the hotel we had a two hour wait to enter our room. The room door wasn't wide enough to allow him to wheel through. The kettle tripped the electric in our room and I couldn't get hold of reception using the phone so had to get dressed and walk to Reception to advise them at 11.30pm, I was informed to climb up to the fuse box and flip the switch, not happy doing that as I have arthritis. The pool was very noisy all day. Children were using mobility scooters for fun not because they needed them. There were grown adult men playing ball games in the shallow children's pool, accident waiting to happen. We witnessed an altercation between a very large man from Northern Ireland and a frail grandmother whose grandson was punched by the man's son, when she asked the bully to apologise he refused then ran off to tell his dad. The man was violently abusive and the grandmother was visibly shaken and had to leave the area. We didn't see any security that could have intervened. Apart from that the room was clean and ample. The food was varied and very nice. Won't be returning

Amazing family holiday. Other reviews must be mad or went somewhere else.
Went for 8 days as family with 2 children (7 and 8).
We're never bored with pool, entertainment, water park included etc.
With 1 vegetarian child, was concerned about food.but the range was.amazing. quality was great and adults and children were both very happy.
Children had their own "kids bar" to get drinks, ice poles and ice creams themselves which the loved.
Will be coming back in the future.
