My saga started in 24/11/2020 - YES, OVER 2 YEARS AGO! All was well until I returned a pair that did not fit. I understand things get lost in post, but I don't understand how a company so well known can operate without any accountability or way of contacting them. After numerous emails and online forms, the best I got was an automated reply to say they have received my enquiry. But no sign of £48.50 refund ever since the pair of shoes was returned on 2/12/21. In the meantime Hermes has changed name to Evri and my proof of postage is no longer recognised on their system. It doesn't really matter anyway, as Clarks Outlet have not even bothered to look into my refund claim.

I have ordered 3 pairs of shoes to only receive 2. I have been trying to call customer service and email them but no response at all. After reading reviews I'm even reactant to return another pair that didn't fit. It's my first and last time I would deal with Clarks outlet
I would avoid Clarks Outlet website
I’ve placed 4 orders with Clarks Outlet.
First was for three pairs of shoes which were not to my taste on arrival so I returned them.
The second order was for Desert Boots and they sent the wrong colour so I returned them.
The third order was for three pairs of shoes and they were dispatched with Evri and have never been delivered.
The forth order was dispatched early December via Evri and they have never been delivered either.
It is almost impossible to contact this company. Somehow, I got an email address for customer services and while they were initially friendly, they soon did not reply at all to messages. I honestly suspect they are probably overrun by customer problems
I give them 1 star mainly because there is almost no way to contact them. They give a phone number for you to contact them yet leave the caller forever on the line unanswered…
I give them 1 star because they appear to partner with Evri who must be the worst courier they could use. Evri may have taken the redirected Royal Mail traffic due to RM’s Industrial Action but they are effectively in melt down at the moment. I have undelivered packages delayed with them 2-3 weeks now at my local depot.
The Clarks poor performance is contrasted with their aggressive constant email bombardment. The sale offers and free delivery is very attractive and tempting but not much use if they can’t deliver. (On what is selected, on quality or on actual shoes delivered to the buyer).

I normally buy a new pair of winter boots from Clarkes every year as they do smart casual but with Goretex. The last few years all I have had is issues so I think I will have to find a new winter boot going forward. This year they sent me the wrong boots, when the new correct pair arrived there is something off with the quality. Identical to the pair I bought last year but the fit is awful so something is a miss!

I went into clarks to get shoes for my child and the shoes I got weren't what I expected. I got 2 right footed shoes in 2 different sizes. And the other pair of shoes weren't even the shoe size I wanted. Honestly never been more frustrated in my life. Now my child hasn't got shoes for Xmas and now have to fork out for more shoes. Honestly this isn't right. They need to get better trained staff
Disgraceful lack of service
I gave Clark’s one star because there is no option for zero !!
I used to think Clark’s was a respected retailer but my most recent experience paints a very different picture.
My order No. 677811241 is a return and exchange for a slightly smaller size.
I returned the original shoes as directed. I have still not had acknowledgment of safe receipt but my Account shows an order for the replacement sized shoe. I haven’t had any notification of the change to the new order nor an indication of the new order being made ready.
Every day all my Account shows is the new current day as the proposed delivery date.
I have rung the customer helpline and despite holding for over forty minutes on numerous occasions, I’ve never had my call answered. I emailed the main customer email and have received no response. I filled in the contact form on my order details in my Account but have had no response and also left a message on their Facebook Messenger account with all the confirmatory details required and gave not received a reply. Finally I’ve been into a store to be told that even they can’t help.
This total lack of service is a disgrace particularly when the shoes in question cost £130, which to me is a lot if money.
By the way, this is not related to Royal Mail’s strike action as delivery and return was via courier.

With the first order, the incorrect shoe was delivered.
With my second order only 1 shoe arrived? Not sure what happened to quality control as shoes should come in pairs I’ve sent several emails/ called (no answer) and approached my local store to no avail.

Never had any bad experience, always ordered online, returned whatever didn’t fit me and got the money back.
This time it was a nightmare! I’ve been waiting for a refund for over 2 months!
I ordered 2 pairs as I wear them almost every day for work and one pair was really tight so I sent it back.
They asked me for a receipt, obviously I didn’t have anymore after such a long time; so they asked me for proof of purchase which I sent. No reply. I emailed them again, still no reply. So disappointing and low class.
I will definitely not buy from them again and it’s such a pity cause I’ve been purchasing my work shoes every year for 10 years now.
Let down by disgraceful customer service.
Order placed online with email from confirmation from Clarks the same day. A few days later another email from Clarks to inform me my order had been dispatched, followed by an email also from EVRi to say they had received my order. I was happy but not for long. 7 days later I have not received my item even though EVRi tracking shows it the item was out for delivery on 15 October. I called Clarks customer service only to be told that items do sometime go missing so they would contact EVRi and that I must allow a further 48hours. There was no offer to call me back or email me with an update, instead I was advised that I would need to call back in 2 days time if the goods had still not been received. I was told that if the goods were lost then I would receive a refund and be given a discount code to place a new order. This is of no use to me as the item I ordered is no longer available. I will never order from Clarks Outlet ever again in view of the disgraceful customer service and their chosen courier service.
Faulty Product, No Refund
It was bad enough that the product I received was faulty, Clarks then said they made the refund through PayPal but they did not. They could not provided the transaction ID for the refund, so could not prove they had sent the refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Useless Couriers
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes on 19th Sept. at a cost of £65.60. Very happy with price, then came the heartsink moment when I got an e-mail from Evri stating that they had my order. From that moment I knew I would not see my shoes. Evri did the usual thing and lied about attempted deliveries etc. Eventually, after my shoes were returned to Clarks I was issued with a refund. My biggest issue here is with both Clarks and Evri. I had to pay postage, which wasn't very much, but through no fault of my own, I ended up losing out because that wasn't part of the refund. It would be helpful if the couriers name could be displayed at check-out, then I could have avoided ordering , I would love to order the shoes, but, sadly not if they use Evri/Hermes.

Not ordering from here again. Shoes were in stock, waited 3weeks and nothing. Chased it up to be told they will be dispatched today and that there was a delay due to backlog of orders. 3 days later, a refund appears for the cost of the shoes, saying sorry I changed my mind? minus my £3.95 p&p- which I will now have to chase! My little boy has been waiting all this time for his shoes for school. Avoid it's not worth the hassle!

Shocking customer service! My mum ordered shoes, they took the payment had a dispatch notification and notification from evri to say it’s out for delivery.. wasn’t delivered, heard nothing since, they replied to our first email chasing the order and have since ignored our emails!

Never ordering from this website again. Ordered two pairs of shoes and a foot gauge - both pairs were too big so returned them via Evri. The parcel was then redelivered to my home so had to go back to the drop off and make sure the parcel was sent to the returns centre (clearly labelled). The parcel arrived back at their warehouse on August 4th. 10 days later, still no refund. Sent an email and called (no reply via either) and finally received a refund for just one pair. Have been calling and emailed since with no reply and no refund. Disastrous customer service. Noone ever answers the phone or replies to email. They simply take your money and run.

Hopeless company! Slowest delivery on the web do not bother with these clowns. Must be shipping shoes direct from the far East as the delivery takes literally weeks. No excuse for such poor slow service these days. Customer service is hopeless and ultimately pointless as they can't do anything for you. Avoid and use a more competent retailer
