Excellent vets. Their exotics team is second to none. Affordable too in my opinion.

Do not take your pet here!
They do not care about the pets.
The vets outright lie to you about what they have/have not said in your consultation.
Receptionists are incompetent.
And for exotic pet experts, they don't even know the laws regarding pet ownership/registration.
And also, they are extortionate. Charging £100+ to register and have a first check up, within which they barely do any health check up and kick you out within 5 minutes.
If I could give negative stars, I would!

This practice has to be the worst I've ever encountered. I searched for an avian vet and they appeared online as 'specialists'. Paid for the visit in advance, as they had insisted when I called to book.

The consultant was rude, arrogant, did not perform a full consultation (which cost £91.36) and lied on the Report they sent me after my complaint. They then lied (again) to my Bank, inferring that I had paid them AFTER having received the service!

Other reviewers have had similarly appalling experiences. Profit before patients is the bottom line at Chine House; they will sink to these levels rather than recompense clients for poor performance. Avoid at all costs.

Chine house vets deliver animal care of the highest quality consistently and with professionalism and empathy. Although my recent experience did not have a happy outcome, vets Lucy and Julia as well as the vet nurses were with us all the way; late into the night and dealing with a pony that had only been in a trailer once in her life as well as tired and slightly hysterical owners. Would not use any other equine vets.

We've been using this practice for over 15 years and have found it exceptional. The animals definitely come first. All the staff from the nurses to the vets have been outstanding, both in terms of expertise and making sure the animal is comfortable if they have to be hospitalised. Definitely the best vet practice we have used in 40 years of pet-ownership.

Excellent vets. Friendly and genuinely caring staff. Reception team, vets and veterinary nurses all really looked after us and were very sympathetic when we had to have our cat put to sleep. Now our dog is poorly and we've been in and out a few times. Always receive excellent care and very reassuring to know that he could go for an overnight stay if needed.

Want to charge £68 just to register pet with them! Said will see in emergency if not registered but would want the £68. I said could they guarantee they see me as my friend tried to get in about a year ago and they refused. Don't have a problem paying £68 but just wanted to be on books in case have an avian problem in middle of night. Try to find another vet if possible everyone please.

If you are forced to use Chine House be prepared for very poor service & not just excessively high prices but also mistakes where you are over charged. Avoid these vets at any cost as along with the above they are so arrogant you will regret using them.
