They have no shame, taking people's money and not delivering. Basically scamming people.
Thought I was ordering from a reputable company, as I had seen them on Sunday Brunch.
Do not order from them.
Avoid! Take your money but don’t send goods.
Placed an order & chose the delivery date on the site as requested (it was for a gift for a birthday) they took my money immediately. 1 month later I’m still without the order, they responded to my first email saying it would be sent & apologies.
2 weeks later nothing, now my 4 emails, calls, DMs & even comments on the daily posts on social media are totally ignored.
Take money but won’t provide the goods. Now going through the hassle of the fraud / scam procedures with my bank to get my money back!

Ordered cheese in December 2024, a slightly different but similar cheese arrived 2-weeks after the web site delivery date. The cheese was half size (ordered full wheel), attempted to contact through Facebook, Instagram, web site email, email through shop payment system.
Received response week before Christmas promising to resolve (after sending photos), since then no contact, despite sending several emails for update.
No offer of refund (part or whole), or even sending the other half of the cheese out to me.
I support small businesses however Muswell Cheese Shop is one to avoid as their customer service is non-existent, and they do not deliver what you order.

I ordered some cheese from this shop…
I ordered some cheese from this shop (having seen them on Sunday Brunch several times) to arrive on 31 March, ready for a party I was having on 1 April. It’s now 5pm on Tues 4 April and there’s still no sign of it and no reply to my emails. I wish I had checked out the reviews re delivery before ordering from them. I will never use them again. Awful service.

Online ordering nightmare…
Same old story for this company by the looks of it. They can’t handle online orders and dealing with customers queries. Perhaps take the online order feature off, if struggling to keep up with customer service? I placed my cheese order on 17th Nov, for a 17th Dec delivery - plenty of time for Christmas. (DPD is the delivery method which haven’t been affected by strikes or operational issues) It hasn’t arrived and despite multiple attempts to contact the shop on various channels, I’ve had no luck resolving this order issue. Now I’m frustrated, out of pocket and close to Christmas. Shame.

Having ordered a cheese order to be delivered last Friday, not only have I not received the cheese but can not get any response from the business despite sending daily emails, telephoning and using the web chat! This is not acceptable on any level. Can someone please contact me to give me a refund!
Disgraceful lack of customer service
Having ordered once before from Muswell cheese for delivery I didn’t read any reviews but I wish I had. My delivery didn’t turn up this time and having wrote numerous emails, phoning them and trying to contact them on all their other media channels I have still not received a refund and like other reviews on here they just do not answer any of these contact options. Considering they still have time to appear on Sunday brunch advertising their business they really don’t give any time or effort into their customer service. They were quick to take my money but can’t even spare a few minutes to reply to my emails. I am disgusted with this business and how they operate and will be contacting watchdog with my experience as I am clearly not alone and the dates on some of these reviews shows that this disgraceful lack of service has been going on for over a year and they still haven’t made an effort to improve it. I always use small independent businesses where I can and I don’t like to write bad reviews (as everyone can have an off day ) I feel this time it is definitely warranted.

Ordered the Christmas Sunday brunch selection paid £6.99 for 14 hour delivery waited didn’t arrive called Morgan was amazing but then told me one of the cheeses I wouldn’t get. ???? But I would get a sister cheese Different farm ? Err I’m not stupid. Got the cheese a day late 250g truffle cheese lees than 100g and the rosemary Mangego 350g was 168g. I may not live in muswell hill but do treat me like an idiot am absolutely disgusted how you treat your clients. After a little investigation realise the cheese I bought from you for £40 I could have bought from the producers for less than £20 you should be ashamed !!!

Ordered a big cheese selection for a party future dated delivery. They have not paid any attention to the delivery details. I’ve tried to contact them for 3 days, nobody answers the telephone or the 2 email address that they have on website. The customer service is disgraceful - or should I rephrase it saying they have no customer service!

Ordered the Sunday Brunch selection online after seeing it on TV and honestly was so impressed, I've never tasted cheese or combinations like it and was especially impressed by the fig jam *chefs kiss* too - will 100% be buying again.

Unfortunately, there isn’t the option of awarding zero stars so will have to be one star. Believe me, I begrudge that one star immensely!
I ordered a cosy night in cheeseboard as a 50th birthday present for a cheese-loving friend, having seen this company’s regular appearances on C4’s Sunday Brunch during the past year or so. Everybody on the programme always raves about the cheeses being tasted, and I stupidly thought that a company that not only appeared regularly on a popular food programme but was also reviewed in several National papers/magazines would be a safe bet. Boy, was I wrong!
Their website looked great, and the various products looked and sounded delicious. I was a bit put off by the additional £6.99 postage fee for the order, but decided that it was worth it if everything was as lovely as it appeared.
Despite ordering with over a week’s safety net, just in case there were any delivery delays, the order didn’t arrive in time for my friend’s birthday. After Day 11 and still no appearance (and after alerting friend there was a present coming and asking them to check it hadn’t gone to the fewer than ten other houses down their lane), I contacted the company using the contact form on their website, as they request.
After two days and no reply, I looked up their email address and emailed them - again giving the order details. This time I did at least get an automated out of the office reply from the owner and another email address to use for any urgent messages.
Which I used. Apparently, my concept of what that means in terms of someone getting back to me and theirs is sooooo very different. After another two days I sent a further polite email. And then a day later another one - still polite but firmer about the fact that things were now getting annoying. Each time copying the previous emails and the order information. I really was trying my best to make it as easy as possible for them to get up to speed and resolve the missing order with as little hassle as possible.
A couple of days later and I tried messaging them through their Instagram account. Still polite, and ever hoping that there had been some sort of massive unexpected issue at their end and that would turn out to be the reason for their lack of response.
Can you guess where this is going? Yep, no reply. Finally I tried phoning. No answer. By this time, 25 days had passed since I placed my order and the company took my payment. My friend’s birthday had been and gone. I then went on the old google and typed in the words ‘Muswell Hill Cheeses cheesesonline reviews’ and arrived on Trustpilot….
…And all became clear. This wasn’t a one-off. Rather this way of behaving appeared to be the company’s tried and tested method of dealing with any problems with customer orders. So, I did what many others ended up doing and used the chargeback option for my bank card, filled out the online form, explained everything I had done to try and resolve the matter with the company, and pointed out that it appeared I was by no means the first person who had had to use chargeback or the PayPal equivalent to get my money back. The speed with which the money appeared back in my account suggests this is something the card company has had to do many times.
So, what have I learned? One: it’s worth checking Trustpilot reviews even for companies that appear to be established and well-respected. Two: if you want a fabulous cheese experience whether for yourself or as a gift, then I can’t recommend enough The Cheese Geek company. Free postage, brilliant service (took under two days for another cheese-based present to wend its speedy way to my 50 and a number of days year old friend. And they said the cheese tasted amazing.

I ordered cheese for my brother's birthday which was in June, we are in August and its still not delivered.
I've called, emailed and used instant messaging and other social media sources with no response. No money back for an absolutely terrible service. Never again.
