Am a huge fan of Ed’s classes. Every one I’ve been to has been fun and I’ve really learnt a lot too. Keep it up Ed!

I discovered this group during lockdown and what a life saver it has been. I’ve regularly done the free Friday Facebook Live sessions as well as the Zoom Parties with music and fancy dress and Zoom lessons which tackle trickier subjects. Ed is a brilliant teacher, as well as an excellent DJ. He has a very down to earth approach and breaks down difficult subject matters into a manageable way of working. It’s a group ideal for experienced artists as well as complete beginners. It’s also a very friendly group. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Outstanding - items ordered on the website arrive promptly and are hand packed by the artist. Classes ordered are of a high standard and there is just the best customer service (often immediate).

Great online lessons - the extensive lockdown (donation based) classes / videos and the painting parties got me into a new hobby - Ed makes it all so easy to follow and I learnt so much.

The more intense Zoom classes are fabulous - I have Frida and the Mona Lisa on my wall and tonight I'll be 'acquiring' a Caneletto.

There are in person classes if you're based in that there London and an online shop for all your paint supplies and past zoom lessons and parties to buy.

A lifesaver since the first lockdown. I was a novice painter but Ed's teaching is so good I've managed to create some artwork that I'm quite proud of. Thank you so much Ed. You're brilliant!

Extremely enjoyable experience for beginners and advanced painters alike - good quality drawing material is provided, easy to follow instruction and personal attention given, a wide variety of artist works to choose from, and all this in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere with nice music to boost the mood and take you in the flow!

Look no further if you want to channel your inner creative. By the end of the class you’ll be considering quitting your day job and become an artist full-time.
Ed’s instruction is clear, supportive and fun. There is zero judgement in his classes and he’s super helpful if you are feeling stuck throughout the class.

Highly recommend to go at it alone or get some mates together for a good experience. Who knows, maybe you just might be able to sell your masterpiece for a bit of cash! ;)

When you see the paintings you think "I'll never be able to paint that" ...then...."look what 'Ive done?!?!?". Super fun and really relaxing and a great sense of achievement. Zero hassle organising paint, canvas etc.

I felt really welcome doing a club on my own but I imagine it is an absolute hoot with a group of friends. Thanks Ed. See you for another class soon!

I’m so happy that I came across Ed’s Cheese and Wine Painting Club in 2020. I had never painted before and thought it would be a fun thing to try during the pandemic. Through Ed’s expert tuition along with his relaxed and fun approach, I’ve learned so much and attempted paintings I would never have thought possible. I’m so grateful to Ed for sharing his artistic talent through his facebook live painting sessions and zoom parties. Ed also set up the Cheese & Wine FB group page which is such a wonderful and supportive community where we can share paintings and encouragement. It has been so much fun!

Cheese & wine painting has been my little bit of sanity during the pandemic. The free Facebook classes have provided teaching and entertainment, and the Facebook group has provided a shared experience when human connection has been lacking.
Ed is a superb teacher, blending humour, humility and talent, both online and in person.
I can’t thank him enough for the service he has provided!

Discovering Ed Sumner’s Cheese and Wine Painting Club has been the most positive experience in my whole lifetime! After studying art several decades ago I had sporadically attempted various projects but never on such a grand scale. Ed is such a talented artist and teacher that anyone can paint along with sessions without feeling any pressure. Videos may also be played back later enabling artists of all abilities to continue until satisfied with results.The group page is a valuable addition for displaying work and communicating with other members.

What an amazing experience. I challenge those who believe 100% they cannot paint to try this out and then say they are not proud of what they produced! Ed is a fantastic teacher who makes the whole experience simple and easy to follow. Maybe the glass of wine (or two), I had during the painting helped as well though.

Ed Sumner is an extremely talented artist who shares his knowledge and skills with anyone wanting to paint along with him. I had never painted with acrylic paint before finding The Cheese and Wine Painting Club and I am pleased to say I’m now hooked. I’ve made so many friends within the group too. Painting, fun and friends, what’s not to like?

Done 3 of Ed's Cheese and Wine painting club classes and all have been great fun! And not only that I now have 3 'master pieces' hanging in my home.

Ed is a brilliant teacher and well as being a great laugh. Its also a great pressie idea or even a party idea!
