Our estate agent Ella was fantastic. Quick to answer questions / follow-up with seller. Easy to get ahold of and was very patient with us as first-time buyers. We’re now with the progression team!

Friendly and professional approach. Made you feel comfortable viewing. Came across knowledgeable.

Cameron was a brilliant help when finding us a house! Everyone at chancellors was super friendly too.

Incompetent! having had 2 dealings with chancellors now, incompetent is the polite version for this review! These people are unorganised, communication is horrific and I will never use them again, to rent or if I was to rent my own property out. Our first experience (Oxford) we were close to moving in to a property and then told last minute we couldn’t have it due to previous tenants change in circumstances, this happens …ZERO support from chancellors. Our money/deposit was then held to ransom and communication ignored after the hell and consistent pestering from more “incompetence” to get all of the checks and references done. Telling us they hadn’t recieved things when they had and pestering other people involved. And now (Witney) due to move out of current property, no communication about the viewings, just walking into the property with people whilst people in the house are sleeping with zero awareness! Never dealt with such unprofessionalism in my life!

Jay was polite and responsive to our enquiry. He was down to earth and his authentic self which we appreciated. He clearly had developed a good professional relationship with the vendors. He was very clear about the situation with this property and its owners which was helpful. He talked to us knowledgeably about the local housing market. He arrived promptly for our viewing.

Ella has been excellent to speak to, our viewing was confirmed quickly and any questions or further information we’ve asked for has been answered and provided efficiently. Highly recommend 😊

We were meet by a very jolly and friendly Juliette at the property 10 minutes earlier than scheduled because she arrived early which in my book is always a good thing.
She was very knowledgeable about the area and the property we were viewing, it always felt relaxing, not being overly pushed or pressurised, but not being ignored either, always given enough time to look around and revisit a room if we asked.
Given time at the end of the visit to ask questions, this cannot be said about the experience we’ve had at other properties.
I also revived a courtesy phone call the following afternoon to ask our thoughts on what we had viewed.

Liveta has been brilliant for us ever since moving in to our home. Always helpful whenever we needed anything and always friendly! ☺️

We are in the process of both buying a property and selling our property through Chancellors Witney, and the experience has been very good so far. Julietta, Jay, Cameron and the team have been professional, and proactive throughout the process. They kept me informed at every stage, provided honest advice, and achieved an offer for the sale price we wanted in two weeks. Special thanks to Julietta, who organised an open day for our house, inviting potential buyers and for her negotiation skills. Overall I would recommend Chancellors, and are hoping they can ensure the sale and purchase progress smoothly.
