Excellent service

Martha (Richmond Branch) has been excellent throughout - explains things clearly and has been incredibly helpful with selling our property. Would definitely recommend.

Sam was a great agent and was incredibly helpful during the whole process. My partner and I felt really supported throughout the process, from the viewing stage to signing the agreements, Sam was there to answer any queries we had promptly and made the whole process easy for us, especially since we are first time renters! Would definitely recommend Sam and Chancellors Richmond to other potential tenants/buyers.

Stuart Bunce visited to perform a valuation. Right from the outset he was very engaging and friendly, yet also professionally covering all the material he needed to. He genuinely listened, and took on board the unique characteristics of the property. The valuation was provided promptly, and his follow-ups and proposed way forward were also at just the right level.

Stuart recently came to our flat to provide a valuation, he was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his services.

By far the nicest estate agents we met. Dealing with the same agent every time you called made such a huge difference too. Honestly highly recommend! Also another reason we decided to rent the house we did, simply because the agency was so lovely, we knew we were in safe hands.

Extremely cooperative and responsive, answering all my questions patiently and swiftly getting back to me with viewing updates and feedbacks. We have been using Chancellors for several years to let our property and now to sell it. They have always been extremely reliable and we have received excellent service from them. Andrew in lettings and Martha in sales have done an amazing job and we would thoroughly recommend them

Joe Glover was our letting agent and did a great job, He went over and beyond helping us with remote viewings, we were very comfortable with him and trusted him.

I met Martha for the first time on 5 January 2022 but had spoken to her over the phone on several occasions. Martha was always very confident, professional, knowledgeable and polite. She made me feel that I was in very trustworthy hands and answered all my questions with a professional warmth.

When I met her on 5 January 2022 she was well dressed, friendly very polite and she put me at ease at once. She showed the potential buyers around the property with a good knowledge of the property and any questions the potential buyers had she answered with confidence.

Martha gave me what feedback she could in between the showings and any questions I had answered them in a friendly professional manner. Once she had returned to the office she sent feedback from the potential buyers with at least two putting in offers. She then phoned me that evening for my feedback. I informed her that I would be accepting one of the offers and she talked me through the next steps of the process.

Martha came across as a hard working, friendly, professional person and I have no hesitation in giving her the five stars she deserves.

On the whole, I was very disappointed with Chancellors. They overpriced my flat and despite my reservations, persuaded me to go ahead with their valuation by persuading me that they would easily find a sale at their price.
This proved to be totally incorrect and despite two large reductions they failed to make a sale.
The plus side was Martha Murray-Playfair who worked incredibly hard to sell my property. I found her to be efficient, supportive and incredibly helpful. The fact that Chancellors failed to obtain a sale is not the fault of Martha. I feel that with the original error in pricing, she was given a nigh on impossible task that she worked very hard to achieve.

Chancellors have been excellent during our three year rental period.

The property management team, Amy Depledge in particular, have also been great. Any issues that have come about during our tenancy have been resolved quickly and without issue. We would be more than happy to use Chancellors again over other estate agents.

Amy has been extremely efficient and supportive in helping work through various issues that have come up recently. She is always professional and responds helpfully and quickly. I can rely on her to follow up with tenants and contractors and to keep me informed. She is always happy to answer questions, advise on logical next steps and to work hard until things are resolved. It’s a pleasure working with her and I would highly recommend the support and service she offers.

I have just sold a flat in Richmond which Chancellors have been letting for me for over 15 years. During the whole of that time via 5-6 different tenancies Andrew Jourdain and his team have provided me with an exemplary letting agency service. The pricing has been honest and accurate and the response time to queries immediate. The tenants introduced by Chancellors have been without exception perfect in all respects.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Chancellors to any Landlord wishing to let a property in the Richmond area.

Excellent service from Andrew Jourdain in the Richmond office. An easy process all round from first introduction to rental of property.

I was fortunate enough to deal with Joe Glover on my recent letting property search. Joe was extremely kind and understanding in helping me with property viewings by video as I had been struck with a dreaded contact tracing isolation at the time. He gave me brilliant advice on the property, provided some additional property recommendations and was then on hand to help me with the offer process. Since being successful he has also checked in with me at every step to ensure I understood everything that was required of me. Not only was Joe a pleasure to deal with, the entire team at Chancellors Richmond were always happy to step in and help me whenever I contacted them.
