Georgia, the senior sales negotiator was very friendly and approachable since the beginning when I met her during open house visit.

She has been absolutely great on answering any of my queries, guiding me through the process and overall been a great helping hand as she knew I am a new home buyer.

Her team who engaged on my property buying process were also very efficient. They made the process very smooth and time efficient. They communicated with me regularly regarding each steps and made me feel well valued.

Overall, I am grateful and, well satisfied with the Chancellors team and highly recommend them.

Daniel Wise was really supportive in our house hunting journey and appreciate his quick and easy communication which really helped us start our application.

I was greeted by Ella Hunt, very professional and understanding. Answered all questions and was pleasant!

Ethan chatfield was really efficient and helpful towards our matter.

Fiona listened carefully to the outstanding issue and solved the problem swiftly and precisely. Job well done. If only everybody could do that.

Ethan was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He presented the properties well and gave lots of food for thought! I also liked that Chancellors send an SMS for you to confirm or reschedule your viewing - doesn’t require a phone call

I gave a good 4 star score for the moving in and pre letting experience but now, after 4 months moving in I find there is a serious damp and fungal spore issue that was only disclosed on a very limited and "don't worry" basis I have to forewarn all potential clients og Chancellors to either not trust their words at all or yo ssk serious and probing questions on all topics before letting. So that this post is understood in its context, I am now 4 months into an unbreakable year lease in a property with horrible fungal spores and 3 children and me in it. My Landlady is maintaining there is no inherent problem of her causing so I am having to spend undue amounts on heating and air circulation and dehumidifying without any real success and this could have been avoided by honesty upfront. There wasn't any. These guys lie and so does my Landlady. I believed in honest behaviour amongst the landlord and letting agent community 6 ago but now i dont and Chancellors are 50% of the cause. To name check the Chancellors agent who showed me around and did not disclose this issue (and who I gave a good initial review too (face palm)), Daniel Wise is not to be trusted

I had an issue for about two weeks where my rent payments were being rejected for some unknown reason. Initially, I was advised to wait until the end of the week, which would have been five working days, even though I was originally told it would take three working days. When Monday came and there was still no payment, I called again and was told they would look into it.

To cut a long story short, after multiple emails asking for the same details and numerous calls chasing the issue, I was eventually informed that the payment was rejected, but no one could provide a reason why.

Today, I reached my limit and contacted Malcolm, the director at Reading Chancellors. He assured me he would investigate the issue and have someone call me back. Within the hour, I received a call from Dana. I expressed my frustrations to her, explaining that no one at Chancellors seemed to be taking the issue seriously or taking ownership of it. Dana listened attentively, apologised, and promised to take ownership and call me back.

True to her word, Dana not only called me back but also resolved the matter by arranging for my payment to be processed immediately. While I am relieved that Dana was able to resolve the issue swiftly, it should not have taken this long to address the problem.

The rating I have provided is only for Dana's service today. Chancellor's would receive 1 for the reasons above.

Adam McBrien was really good with communication even before we appointed Chancellors to find us tenants.
He was genuine and not pushy.
The viewings were arranged to suit our requirements, and we found a nice family to rent our house to. I’d recommend Chancellors in Reading.

Ella explained everything to us in a very professional manner and she was very helpful throughout the process of our viewing.

Really easy to book a viewing, team on phone are really friendly and chatty. Ethan who showed me round the flat was lovely too, informative about the details of the flat and friendly too :)

Avoid. Terrible customer service.
I've never given an online review before but Chancellors are so bad I thought it might save someone the head ache in the future.
If your thinking of using Chancellors I'd read the other 1 star reviews first.
Only giving 1 star as I can't give zero.

You were also very understanding, when I informed you that my plans had changed, and I would no longer be requiring your services. I was shown around a lovely flat on Bath Road by the wonderful Ella, who was professional, knew her stuff and has been wonderfully patient with me. It didn't work out moving into the location but I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Ella, a great representative for Chancellors.

We were shown the property by Ella who was really friendly and professional and answered all of our questions nicely. Pretty straightforward and smooth process so that was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

Property viewings can be a tiresome affair, but your agent made this a great deal more pleasant, being extremely professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
