Fast delivery,
Havent opened the product yet as it is a present.
But I asked for a refund in retrospect as I bought 2, the second one 2 days later. This was implemented.

Tom and Jason provided expert guidance, which was just what I needed after having been given 'opinions' from another retailer that were more skewed to sales vs what I required for my sound set up.

Expert knowledge, excellent service
Excellent service, highly knowledgeable, great product and fantastic price.
I called because I had some techy questions about my ceiling speaker / Hi-fi install. Tom was patient and very knowledgeable, taking time to ensure I found the best solution for my particular situation. Again helpful beyond rare these days
This is probably the 6th or 7th time i have used The Specialist Audio Company and each and every time they have been incredibly helpful, with help and advice, and recommending excellent products to suit my ever growing music and Av System. Started well, ended so poorly
The staff at The specialist audio company when I first contacted them were extremely helpful, that is until DPD (There courier of choice) went rouge with my delivery.
Despite being home at the time DPD advised us delivery would be made we got a notification that we missed the delivery with a photo and time stamp. The strange thing was we were outside the front of the house with the window cleaner at this time. DPD also advised they would not be redelivering to me.
I contacted the store to find out what was going on, they could not understand why DPD was not going to attempt to redeliver.
I had to contact DPD who advised the that the driver was involved in the “Can’t wait project”
Basically they drop your parcels at a depot of their choice and you have no options as the customer!
My equipment, which was not light or little was dropped at a drop off point in a shopping centre with no easy parking nearby.
I had to walk over half a mile carrying two large boxes.
The specialist audio company had no control over this drama and basically told me it’s not their fault and could not guarantee future deliveries would not be affected by this ridiculous project of DPD’s
No compensation was offered by anyone for this nightmare.
I suggest if your ordering from this company to check your DPD drop off first as you might encounter similar problems and you won’t get any help from the company in this regard.

We're very sorry that DPD have let you and us down on this occasion. We send hundreds of packages via DPD every week and 99.9% are delivered without issue. And in DPDs defence, they do a very good job for us most of the time. No courier is perfect every single time, but we specifically use DPD because they are more reliable than the competition. Your nearest DPD pick-up shop is clearly not located in a very convenient location for collecting large boxes, and we can totally understand that this did not help the situation. However the tracking information does show that DPD did attempt the delivery (including a picture of your front door), and as we understand it, drivers are not able to mark a package as delivered before the 1-hour time slot. As explained, once a package is with DPD we have no control over its path through their network to the customer. Our only option is to intercept the consignment and have it returned to us. If there was anything we could have done to make the situation better for you then we would have been happy to help. We pride ourselves on a high level of customer service which is increasingly rare these days. We have thousands of happy customers, and the majority return to us time after time. Our attention to detail and relationship with the most reliable next day courier means that customers get a very smooth and rapid service from ordering to delivery, and errors and issues are extremely rare. If you feel that you may have better luck with another retailer who uses a different courier, then of course you have that choice as a consumer. But for online purchases of this type we believe we offer the best full package when it comes to friendly helpful advice, great prices, smooth transactions, and efficient after sales support.
