This shambles of a company got £300 pounds from my savings account just directed it into their own account when i was doing a transfer from my joint savings account to my current account.Turns out its Vodaphone but the strange thing is I have never been with Vodaphone. Now i get a letter asking me to call CCS as i am due to a refund and yes as you already know there is no way that you can get to talk to anybody.how are they allowed to carry on Doing this to people is beyond me

Awful company!! I’ve been paying them £5 a month for the last four months and heard nothing from them so I thought they were happy with the payment I went to pay them the 5th payment this morning and now my account doesn’t exist??? Either they want the debt paid off or they don’t?? Tried phoning them waited for 20 minutes then the phone cut off!! I will wait now till they contact me as how the hell are you supposed to pay it if your account now doesn’t exist?

If I was trying to get money I wouldn’t bother with these guys. All they do is send letters and texts. A bit annoying but no threats so easily ignored.

Only gave a 1 star as it doesn't have the option for zero or minus. Absolute shocking service. I use the word service extremely loosely as there actually isn't any. You can never get through to anyone ever on the phone. You wait in a queue for over half an hour and then they cut you off. You then try the call back service and you guessed it, no one ever calls you back. You email them and say its urgent and yes yet again no response from them ever. They owe me money after there cock up and it looks like I'll never get it back. Literally the worst people I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. Again I say that but I never dealt with anyone ever as they are complete crap. How this company is allowed to trade and behave in this way is beyond me. Shame on anyone who uses these people as they are horrendous and make any company like Vodafone look terrible. They should be closed down. Absolutely shocking. Grrrr
Despicable company
I don't even know how to describe this company but they certainly don't deserve a star. They deserve minus 10.
I didn't owe any money to anyone as More Than Insurance had made a mistake. This was notified to them ELEVEN times, including three times from More Than themselves.
They hounded me day and night with texts and phone calls, despite More Than attempting to call them off. They caused immense distress as I was in the process of losing a parent.
In the end, More Than were despairing that they couldn't make CCS stop the harassment and gave me a compensation payout. Followed by another one.
If these guys get their claws onto you, best advice is to totally ignore them and deal directly with the company you owe the money to. That way they don't make any commission. Really despicable company.
Con Artists
I am a landlord of a couple of properties and they are chasing me for £1587 owed by an ex tenant.
Somehow they have found my name and home address and are now sending me bills for her debt.
They probably get the odd sucker to pay some money but how they make their money is by getting angry people to wait on a premium priced phone line to speak to someone who will never answer. I waited twenty minutes in an "eight minute" queue and nobody came.
The best advice is really to throw any of their correspondence in the bin and to not distress yourself.

Data Protection Subject Access Request
Having only dealt with this shambles of a company following a collection notice letter apparently acting upon behalf of Vodafone, and getting nowhere, I would urge all other unfortunate people to request a Data Protection Subject Access Request to understand exactly what data they hold on you and who they are likely to pass it on to. As I personally have never agreed to any data policies with this company and yet they seem to have personal details of mine. I urge you all to do the same

Spoke to an agent called Stephan today, can i say how polite and caring he was towards me, treating customer fairly was well presented and he helped me alot. Better than VODAFONE! but seriously if you are reading this thank you, you have reassured alot.
There is no way to contact them - will be reported to Ombudsman
I had "unpaid" bill from Vodafone that I didn't even know about and CCS Collect contacted me so I paid them.
At the end I reported Vodafone to Ombudsman for unfair bill and got that cleared with apology.
CCS Collect is not interested to pay my money back, there is no way to send them email or speak to them so I'm going to report them to Ombudsman.
Looks like it's the only way to contact them and get my money back

CCS fail to respond to letter
I wrote to CCS collect because they contacted me about a sum claimed from my company that is the result of a computer arror. The amount is small and sum is acknowledged as being in dispute and awaiting investigation.
CCS collect appeared out of nowhere and wrote asking me to pay. I wrote then to them and included all the information I had. They haven't written back and are now sending me text messages.
It looks like they are trying to intimidate me and are not interesting in investing the time it takes to read and respond to a simple letter. Shameful.
Don't trust CCS...
I was asked to pass over my bank account details while setting up a payment plan the first time I dealt with CCS. The payments never went through on the arranged date, upon calling back there was evidence I had made a call to them but no payment plan was arranged. I've since received numerous letters requesting money for my "vodafone account". My vodafone account is fully paid up and I have a Direct debit with vodafone instead. Phoning CCS will tell you they're too busy for your call and they'll ring you back, which they don't. I'm 90% certain they're using their position as a collection agency to take extra money from people who have legitimate debts passed to them. Even with the newest letter the balances are over what they should be. If they don't pick up my calls and won't recognise my payment reference, why should I pay this amount if I'm paying vodafone already?
Shambles, amazed HMRC tolerate such poor service.
Static on line and when inputting reference code it repeatedly says not recognised. Chosing option to speak to someone loops you back to inputting your reference number.
No response to email.
Original letter looks amateurish thrown together so want to speak to them but can't.
HMRC I have your money but want to do due diligence on ccs before I pay but can't as they are effectively uncontactable. Is this really the standard you are happy with from your contractors?
