Actually a scam, had emails from this company saying i owe money to sky, Spoke to sky who have told me that i don't and never have owed anything, and that they have not passed me on to debt recovery of any sort. Have spoken to CCS and asked for my data to be removed on GDPR grounds as there is no reason for it to be kept and they have refused.
Monies paid not showing on my HMRC account
I have paid 2 amounts off my balance, 1 was nearly a month ago and they are not showing on my HMRC account and i am being charged interest. I emailed them a week ago and they still havent replied
Helpful and polite Shayne and Andrew
I spoke with Shayne on the 30/10/25 and Andrew on the 23/10/25 who asked me to call back in a week regarding a disputed DVLA penalty. Both Shayne and Andrew were polite and helpful despite dealing with customers who are most likely disgruntled. Nobody likes to pay fines especially if you don’t agree with them but they were far more helpful than the DVLA. Take your issues up with the companies that passed on the debts rather than CCS.
An utter disgrace of a company
I’d give no stars at all if that was possible. An utter disgrace of a company. I cannot believe a company like Vodafone are using such a rude and aggressive company ESPECIALLY when they’ve sent out something they shouldn’t have in the first place because it was an error at Vodafone’s end. I had the utter displeasure of speaking to two of their representatives. The second was slightly more pleasant than the first but the first shouldn’t be speaking to people on the phone.

I tried to pay them, with their bank details but my bank said it didn't exist🤷so went to their portal but I couldn't access my details, tried phoning but decided not to wait on my mobile phone for ages, I only owe £40 apparently for sky who I stopped using ages ago when I returned their router

Their portal is shocking, tells me my details are not valid, when they are, get told to wait a few days when they've reset my account multiple times. Cannot even send a contact form as that errors, I don't need to talk to you, I just want to post updates. Phone lines/web was down for at least a week in July.
Trying to get through and 13th in queue, absolutely useless, if you are taking on massive contracts like HMRC you should have the resources to handle it.
Will not allow me to pay my bill
Absolutely shocking. I've been getting demand letters for payment yet when I call their number the payment line doesn't recognise my date of birth. I have 4 letters with inflated amounts now which is getting out of hand. Their webchat doesn't work and no one is available to speak to you. You are left hanging with zero chance of paying what you owe. The bad reviews here speak for themselves. I will be speaking to a solicitor soon as I feel like ending my life over all this stress!

Really appreciate speaking to someone so polite and caring when dealing with such financial matters.
Unprofessional company!!
This is now the second review as an update. I was contacted by CCS about a Vodafone debt. After proving this was set up fraudulently and Vodafone closing the account down I continue to receive letters demanding payment and threatening further action. This is beyond ridiculous when I have a crime reference number and the account was closed by their client. They’re so unprofessional, make sure you get everything in writing as they’ll just mess you around for weeks without actually doing anything to help.
Hounding company with no morals
My husband after falling ill with bacterial meningitis fell into quite a bit of debt and struggled to get back on top. got an IVA out to clear his debt! Sky were a nightmare continuing to take money and refusing to refund despite agreeing to the IVA and then passed the debt to this company who the IVA company has emailed several times confirming this debt is included in the IVA. People hang themselves being hounded like this and I have concerns on how much this is effecting my husbands mental health! I’ve emailed a complaint but doubt i will get a response disgusting

I have been granted an IVA against a debt but this company keep hounding me for the money despite the IVA company contacting them and the original debter 6 times in writing. Terrible for my mental health which is why I took the difficult decision to take an IVA option in the first place.

Terrible Rubbish and unhelpful
Terrible after making payments to clear a debt which I have done on time I now owe 0.15p apparently they won’t take debt card for the amount u have to do bank transfer
My bank won’t set it up say it’s a scan with bank details given rang 5 times today most unhelpful people on the phone asked for a mgr told I can’t speak to one and have to wait 48hrs for call back

I received a letter from this company…
I received a letter from this company claiming I owed £80 to DVLA for an untaxed vehicle. I had sold the vehicle infomed DVLA and so on as well as cancelling the DD for the car tax as there is no facility to log in to the website after the V5 log book and in my case section 9 has been sent off as it requires Vin numbers etc if you don't have the log book info which you have to send off, as well as having received the confirmation slip from DVLA in relation to the car ownership or keeper or whatever they call it now... Anyway, I tried expaining it to the operator but she chose to become aggressive and talk over me. I told her I would just say my bit no matter if she talked or not and that would be the end of the conversation. I also said they could not hold my telephone number and the call ended. The two days later they called me on their automated system using the telephone number I had said they cannot use, bigger fool them as the telephone number is an HMAF supplied number and it is illegal to store these numbers without consent. I called them back and explained that I have now written to DVLA over the car tax issue and would wait for their response and would not speak with CCS again until after the DVLA response and that if they did not confirm that the telephone number was removed from their system that I would have their directors arrested under anti terrorism laws. The number was removed and the account put on hold for 21 days. Not a great experience and whilst the second person I spoke to had pretty much no choice but to do as I said she was much more polite than the aggressive operator from the first call. I give them 2 stars due to the second operator being more efficient and polite but that is at a push. All that was needed to make this a much better experience which in my mind is down the DVLA making an error would have been for the first operator to have just been polkite and listened and advise and then for them not to break the law by storing the number. Had this been the case the review would have been much better in terms of scoring.
