It is a real pleasure to deal with a bank that you can communicate with so easily. No lengthy waits 'on hold' on the phone and knowledgable customer service advisors (Nicky was fabulous) who really seem to care about you and want to do their best to solve any queries you have. I would highly recommend this bank, especially if you hold a Trust account. They stand out amongst other providers that offer this.

My fixed rate Business bond had matured so called CCB to revinest it. I was initially considering moving my funds to another provider. Top marks for Nicky Sonigra who handled the initial inquiry superbly ... and because of this I not only reinvested the funds but also added an additional £25K investment. Nicky was a beautiful example of excellent customer service.

As the broker, I had already approached several lenders who were either unsure or not confident in progressing the deal.

Been with this bank for a few years through my company, but have to say recently they have been poor. Interest rates on savings products are pretty good, but to wait over 2 weeks for a simple savings account to be opened (with all of the corresponding loss of interest) is simply not good enough. They clearly have very manually intensive processes and have bad resource management planning if their delays are like this. Need to do better

To cap it all off they then decided to review this as a complaint and found (surprise, surprise) that taking over two weeks to do what many institutions do instantaneously was absolutely splendid and they saw no issue at all.

Far too slow to process applications for business bonds from existing customers. Anyone who runs a business knows retaining loyal customers is easier and cheaper than new customers, but C&C are happy to lose existing customers to other banks with better onboarding processes.

Just so so slow , must be deliberately slow, in processing new accounts . I regret choosing them and will exit as soon as I can . Money left either goodness knows where or in a zero interest account for days. Very stressful .

As a new customer our Village Hall opened a Fixed Rate Bond 12 months ago and it could not have been easier.
The several members of staff I dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly.
And the interest rate was pretty good too.
We have just opened a 6 month Bond and the excellent Nicky kindly tracked down our cheque and ensured that everything was operational without delay.
