I had a terrible experience with this catering hygiene specialist, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. From the outset, their customer service was appalling; they displayed a complete lack of manners and seem to have no intention of solving issues. To make matters worse, even before receiving my order, I was informed that if I decided to return it, a massive restocking charge would apply. This feels like an unfair tactic to ensure they can charge customers regardless of the situation. There are plenty of great catering companies out there that prioritize customer care—do yourself a favor and avoid this one at all cost!

Terrible after-sales service- avoid.
Terrible after-sales service when a new glasswasher developed a fault rendering it useless within 4 months of purchase. Refused to cover repairs for this new machine because we didn’t pay extra for parts and labour warranty. Avoid at all costs.

Missed a delivery due to the driver not reading my instructions which I had given him in the morning and now they want to charge me £70.00 and they told me in an email that further charges would apply. It’s like they are doing everything to not have repeat business.

Our deliveries are scheduled on a standard 8am-6pm service. If a delivery attempt fails, the courier applies aborted delivery charges, which are passed directly to us. Unfortunately, we must pass these charges on to you as per our terms and conditions.

A very good and professional work completed in time, everything went well, a bit slow only in releasing the paperwork after, but that could because of the xmas and newyear time off.
Overall a very good experience, will work with them again for sure.

Worst company from whole world. I bought one freezer from this bad company nearly one month ago. Which one they sent me totally faulty and I'm contacting them about 100 times but still waiting for solution. Every time when ever I phoned them they say its not their fault its the manufacturer fault. If its manufacturer fault so why you taking money and selling faulty items and doing messing about other businesses.
I ordered the freezer from them bcz I needed it urgently but now nearly one month I don't have it.
If you want your life easy never ever buy anything from CATERING SOLUTIONS COMPANY.
They waisting my time when ever I phoned them I have to give them whole detail of order and after all that no solution.
I paid this bad company to get stressed and paid for waste my time.
Please ignore this company if you want to not loose your money and don't want to waste your time.

Supply and installation of home fly screens - couldn't be happier

Terrible delivery, worse customer service
Absolute garbage. Purchased an ice machine. Asked for delivery after 10am which, in their defense, they said they would pass on to the delivery service but could not guarante.
Delivery was attempted at 9am. The delivery service said they had no note of the after 10am request.
Circled back, Catering Hygiene says there will be an £80 re-delivery fee. This was never mentioned before. Easily could have been brought up during our 10am conversation.
You can pay £75 extra to choose a time. The "time" is either 8am-12 or 12-6pm. What a generous offer. But since no one is on site before 10am, we paid for the PM slot. So we're now £155 in on delivery fees despite advertising free delivery.
Delivery service calls day of delivery to ask if they can deliver before noon. I say, no, we paid £75 for an afternoon delivery. They delivered at 11:49am anyway.
What a joke the whole thing is. Never again.

Unfortunately, if a delivery within this timeframe fails, we incur aborted delivery charges from the courier, who will not attempt redelivery until these charges are settled. Restock charges are part of our terms and conditions, which are agreed to upon ordering.

Never will purchase anything from them again. They dropped electric oven on the street, nobody signed up for the delivery and my oven was left unattended on busy New Town Edinburgh street. Customer service like nowhere else …

I used this company before in a previous dwelling and they did an excellent job, so I had them install fly screens in my current dwelling. The work was flawless and the installer (Steve) was friendly and professional. They are a bit pricey but well worth it.
