We bought an Automatic Water Bolier from Catering Appliances Superstore. The unit died after 12 months. Catering Appliances Superstore do not follow the EU Warranty guidelines, over complicate the process and want to charge me for their own engineer to repair a warranty fault.

To clarify, all our warranty policies are based on and adhere strictly to the terms set out by our suppliers and are clearly stated at the time of purchase. In this case, it appears the unit was unfortunately outside of its warranty period, which is why a chargeable service was offered for further inspection and repair.
We always aim to be as transparent as possible with our customers regarding warranty coverage, and we’re happy to discuss this further if you'd like more details about the warranty terms specific to your product.
Efficient customer service
Two tea pots actually arrived broken, but after reporting Shelley promptly sorted out my issue so I was very satisfied.

I have purchased many items from the catering appliance superstore in the last month and have been thrilled with the prices, delivery times but most of all there customer service. I had quite a lot of contact with customer service and sales as I had a tricky location to deliver a large fridge but they dealt with it very well and always called when they stated.

Terrible customer service and warranty…
Terrible customer service and warranty not worth the paper it’s written on. Chefmaster microwave with 8 months warranty almost sets on fire internally and told we burnt it! It’s an unsafe product that is a fire hazard!

We are sorry to hear this. As the product warranty is covered by the manufacturer, they have full jurisdiction regarding if the the product misfunction aligns with the t&c's of the warranty. On this occasion, they believed that the microwave had been subject to damage by something hot. I am happy to investigate this further, but the manufacturer's decision is usually final.

David White the engineer was fantastic
David White the engineer was fantastic. Have had a series of bad experiences with commercial dishwasher engineers but David was in a different class. Rest of service was fine but was not prompt. The delivery and installation was good. I wish that someone had asked if we needed to have our old dishwasher removed. I thought that I had asked about it but I had not and then had to pay even more to have this done despite having paid a lot for the delivery and installation. I would recommend them as service was efficient.
