Don't bother with this company

The reviews on here are quite a contrast to the reviews on google. Definitely read the positive reviews with a pinch of salt while you compare them to the google reviews.

This company will take your money and send you a faulty product that will have a major breakdown within a couple of months and then completely ignore your consumer rights and push you to pay out of your own pocket to fix the product.

I have submitted a claim in the small claim court to try and recover the almost £1500 that i am now out of pocket after the display fridge they sold me stopped working in less than 5 month's. The compressor which is supposed to last a number of years stopped working in less than 5 month's.

I advise people to stay far away from this company and if you have bought anything from them that has now stopped working regardless of how long you have had it make a claim against them in the small courts as dealing with them directly will not get you anywhere as i have experienced.

Thank you for your comments. This case has been escalated to the small claims court as we stand by our terms and conditions. When purchasing the item for commercial use you chose a ‘Two Years Parts only warranty’ and agreed to our terms and conditions during the checkout process. All alternative options to upgrade to a parts and labour warranty were declined.

A parts-only warranty allows you to use your own sourced fully qualified engineer / at your own cost, to assess the problem. This must be followed by an engineer’s report sent back to us, which we then forward to the product manufacturer. Once approved, the parts are then sent to your desired location. For the warranty to be valid, all diagnosis and repairs must be carried out by a qualified engineer.

You could not have checked out and chosen a warranty option without agreeing to our terms and conditions. The warranty type was also included in the invoice you received after purchase.

We received an Appliance Diagnostic Report from London Commercial and Domestic appliances. We requested a full engineer’s report, including the serial number to send to the manufacturer to enable the part to be sent to the site for fitting. We are still awaiting this documentation.

Compressors can fail for many reasons. The two most common factors are;
• Ambient temperature (this unit is Climatic 3, the user should use the appliance below 25 degrees.
• Cleaning & maintenance.

The cost of the part (compressor) is £168 plus VAT. The cost will be fully covered by our terms and conditions, of the parts only warranty, once the full engineer’s report has been approved by the manufacturer.

I'm purchasing a new Company oven by…

I'm purchasing a new Company oven by Catering superstore at this stage the initial purchase and the information provided by the customer service staff in particular Fiona Kellie has been exceptional and they have made everything extremely clear.

Once I have had the installation completed, I will leave a further updated review but at this point I'm giving 10 out of 10 and satisfied with the service I've received by this company from the initial enquiry to the final purchase.

And the after-care that I have received to this point, I would recommend it to anybody. I've been in the catering business for 26 years. I understand how important this is purchasing a key piece of equipment for Commercial kitchen, you need the backup of a solid company that have the knowledge the Catering Supplies superstore has this knowledge.

Good Value for money and Great Service

I get lots of equipment for my kitchen from Catering Appliance Superstore, all good quality, quick deliveries and great service. One of the ladies, Louise, always does an amazing job and helps me out 😊

Impeccable customer experience

We had a complete nightmare with a Samsung drier. It was a complicated and extended series of problems that involved multiple Samsung visits. When Samsung abandoned us, Catering Appliances (led by Gillian) stepped up again and saw it through to an eventually satisfactory conclusion. This was one of the best customer experiences we've ever had. Thank you so much!

Absolutely shocking service from…

Absolutely shocking service from Catering Appliance. I have spent north of £4000 with them on a couple of commercial washing machines as well as a significant amount on installation only to find they are defective and none functional. I have had 4 engineers visit to date and have recently been told that catering appliance have supplied me non UK spec models. I have called them on occasion and the people on the phones have advised I need to go through the manufacturer. I have since emailed their customer service team who are unwilling to resolve the issue. This is absolutely disgusting customer service and I will most certainly be taking this further as it is a violation of the consumer rights act.

As with many manufacturers we work with, Electrolux offers a direct warranty service, which is typically designed to streamline and expedite the resolution of any issues. However, we want you to know that, in this instance, the level of service you received fell short of both our expectations and Electrolux's usual standards. Having reviewed your case, I can see that a replacement machine has been installed and the new unit is now functioning correctly. I can see we also compensated you for your out-of-pocket expenses. We can only apologise and are pleased this matter has now been resolved.

Great experience

Great experience, you can tell its an honest family run business, I ordered the product I wanted at a great price and as I am now a little nervous when purchasing big ticket items on line, I wanted to hear a human voice and so called the displayed number and spoke with the wonderful Fiona who reassured me of the company details and history, she then sent me all the required links for payment etc all appearing instantly.
Excellent service all round..
