Bought a 1200 x 1200 carronite corner bath. Poorly packaged with only cardboard edges, no foam or polystyrene, as most bathroom items come with. Arrived with a large chip in lower corner and a crack running up the edge, in thick supposedly reinforced high quality carronite. The front panelling is also poorly made with rough jagged edging on the end that will need to be cut to be installed, not the high quality finish I expected. Carron manurfacturers are being really difficult about sending a replacement meanwhile I have no bath to install, causing delays. I'm regretting the purchase this is not the high quality to match the high price paid. Their warranty and delivery guarantees have no value.

In Nov 2023 we bought a Carronite bath reassured in its 30 year warranty. Recently we noticed a discolouration in the bath. We contacted the company who said that it was not their fault but rather the supplier. They asked me to wipe acetone over the area and that revealed a chip. They said had a problem with suppliers doing this. Reminded under the sales of good act their o ligations and waiting a response.

Update now had the response. They in essence say not their problem and blame the distributor, supplier or fitter. Anyone but themselves. Bear in mind this is probably a couple of hundred pounds to fix offer no remorse or solution. Based on this experience I would avoid. Awful customer service.

I purchased a carronite bath and panel about 3 years ago. The bath is perfect but the panel has gone bright yellow. I've noticed another buyer has posted a similar problem. Although, the bath is good, the panel has a poor quality coating. I bought the bath and panel on the recommendation of my next door neighbour but their panel has now gone yellow too!

David from the technical department has been brilliant and very supportive with a problem we have been having with an installed bath been fitted incorrectly. Thank you for all of your help!

I purchased a 'Carron Quantum Integra Carronite Bath' from a bathroom supply company called 'QS Supplies' about a month ago. When the bath was delivered it looked fine on first inspection, though it was not possible to check all of the accessories (particularly the handles) as they were packed under the bath protective packaging.

Unfortunately when the plumber unpacked the bath to fit it, he found that one of the chrome handles was scratched, so I took a picture and reported it to QS Supplies asking for a replacement. They quickly emailed back refusing to help and hiding behind T&Cs. I have left them a separate Trustpilot review, however suffice to say that they are not interested in helping and frankly not remotely 'customer-focused'.

In contrast, I emailed Carron Bathrooms (they make the bath) asking if they could help, since QS wouldn't. I had a reply from their customer service manager at 8:30pm last night saying they were sorry for our experience and that unfortunately they couldn't do anything with QS Supplies as they don't directly supply them. However they also offered to send me a replacement set of handles today FOC :-)

And, BTW, the bath is everything we hoped for and fantastic quality too. Can't recommend this company and its goods highly enough!

I have a carron bath which is now 8 years old and still looks as good the day when it was installed.
Handles needed smartening up though,
I contacted Carron to see if it was possible to buy replacements?
Yes ,that was possible,and after taking my name and address etc they dropped through my letter box the very next day free of charge.!!!!

Looks like I'm not the only one, the bath panel goes yellow quickly. Not cheap, no response from Carron, they sell a substandard product and don't deserve your money. Don't bother.

Had a Carronite status fitted about three years ago. Whilst the bath itself is fine the bath panel has gone yellow even though its not in direct sunlight- shouldn't go yellow even if it was!
Spoke to customer services who just said bath panels are only guaranteed for one year.
Considering the panel was so expensive (£250) you would expect it to last longer than it has.
Have to say customer services left a lot to be desired too.

Bought a bath panel and a side panel from Carron. Arrived. Very poor quality no fixing accessories. Spoke to their technical services. The man was very rude and hadn't a clue how to fix the panels. CARRON STANDARD FRONT BATH PANEL 1700MM X 515MM and CARRON STANDARD BATH END PANEL 700 X 515 returned and charged 30% handling charge. Never buy from Carron!! Rip off . AVOID

Had the bath installed, very happy with it until 1 week later a small crack / hole appeared near the plug hole. I only noticed it because I could hear a whistling sound when having a bath, I I am absolutely gutted. Going to have to have a repair done because otherwise I’d need to replace all my tiles. This should not happen on a brand new bath. I wouldn’t recommend

I installed a Carronite whirlpool spa bath in 2004, the bath is very sturdy, much better than any ordinary plastic bath, yet still light enough to be moved for maintenance by one not very strong 64 year old. it still looks like new. The spa system has given trouble an acceptable 5 times in 18 years. When I have a problem I contact Carron in Falkirk and they send Derek down the following week, No drama and at a reasonable cost. Very happy with the product and service.

I bought a Carron bath and shower screen over a decade ago. It still looks like new however the shower screen bottom seal needed replacing. I called Carron today and spoke to a lovely man, John, who sent a replacement within the hour. I am most impressed thank you.

Excellent range of products, I purchased the Carronite Profile for my bathroom. Excellent design and quality. I've had it for two years now no problems, looks fantastic. An added bonus, it was made in Britain too!

Good quality baths, I tend to fit the standard carron baths, as opposed to the carronite, mainly because I only install domestic.
But....
Today I've been fitting a shower bath.
Couple of issues.
The panel requires a 541mm gap from floor to lip of the rim, the feet fully extended are extremely precarious, so I've had to put it onto wooden blocks.
The rim is only just thick enough to mount the bath filler, especially if you have a 12mm wall tile, I may have to remove the tap for the tiler to tile, then remove the base collars and refit the tap.
The rim on the adjacent wall is much wider, but... ask any (decent) plumber if he'd mount taps in a place that is inaccessible once the bath is fitted, and the answer (should be) no.
In summary..... standard baths, great, good quality, good design.

Shower bath, good quality, poor design, I certainly wont be fitting one again !

Contacted Lynn (Customer Services Mgr) regarding some perished handles on our 12 year old Carronite bath and where we could get some new ones. Lynn answered my email within hours and sent out some new ones free of charge. Superb service.

I bought a Carronite profile bathtub via my bathroom supplier and it's exceptionally sturdy and well made. Great product!

Phoned technical three times got answerphone twice got through on third attempt.
Gentleman very non helpful said line was for professional installers only.
Installation instructions are more in keeping for a cheap bath, as with scrap of paper for hand grip fitting.
This response as made me think twice before we buy another bath on our move to another house later in year with a none helpful technical department

Bought a Carron Status bath from a Carron supplier. I kept it shrouded in the plastic until it was time install it. On removing the plastic there was a 3cm scar at least 1mm deep in places close to the waste hole. It is not a scratch or a chip. In my opinion it is manufacturing problem and should have been picked up by quality control but Carron have said it is impossible and to rub it with Brasso! They maintain the picture is not very clear but didn’t bother to ask for another one. If, as they say, it was damaged in storage or transport how come the plastic covering it was still intact and all sealed. There were no fragments evident from any damage in the packaging. Unfortunately I am at fault for not completely unpacking it upon arrival and checking within 48hours. As there was no visible damage to the package I assumed it was all good.

I contacted the company at their main office with a technical query. I received blilliant help and advice from John and Dave who both "went the extra mile" to sort out my problem.
I will definitely be buying one of their baths.
