I learned about Carets almost a year ago now and I can say confidently they are the pinnacle of barefoot dress shoes. The hardest part about barefoot shoes is...well, they look like barefoot shoes, and in professional or formal environments that isn't always what you want. No one believes me when I tell them they are barefoot shoes!

And they're return policy is the best I've ever heard of. My first pair were a little big, so my second pair I sized down. They fit so much better, and Carets lets me exchange the first pair for the correct size even though I had bought them months before. Their product and their customer service is second to none! I will always recommend Carets

There simply isn’t another dress shoe like this on the market. Many “foot-shaped” dress shoes end up looking bulky or awkward. Carets somehow manages to create a shoe that looks refined, elegant, and professional.

They’re absolutely worth the investment. I don’t see myself buying another brand of dress shoes.

My only wish is that Carets would expand into a casual leather line, something with the same foot-shaped comfort and premium craftsmanship that’s perfect for summer, weekends, and everyday wear. I’d buy them in a heartbeat.

I have never experienced better customer service than with Carets. Their warranty and returns policy is insanely generous, and allows you to try their shoes with utmost confidence. When I ordered a shoe size too big, their customer service helped me to identify if it was an issue that could be fixed with heel grips and tongue pads (which don't void their policy) or if I needed a size down. In the end I needed a size down, and they sent me a size down in the shoe and in shoe trees to replace what I had ordered, allowing me to first test the size down and confirm it was a good fit before sending the original back. The quality of the shoes is amazing, and catches people's eyes. Best of all they look like normal shoes, but have all the benefits of being genuine barefoot shoes. I'm extremely happy with every correspondence over a few months (due to backorders), and will definitely purchase from Carets again.

Zero drop shoes transformed my physical experience, vastly improving my joint and muscular comfort. Carets in my opinion offer the very best dress shoes in this category on the market, and I own a pair in both brown and black. Buy with confidence!

Excellent shoes and great company. I have a couple pair now. My latest pair I preordered and it took a while to get them. Carets kept me updated on the progress and that really meant a lot. I will continue working on my collection of Carets shoes.

Pauline at Carets was very professional, a good communicator and helpful when I was having trouble with my shoes. Whether there was an issue with the size or the construction, she was a great assistance. Additionally, Carets stands by their products!

I purchased the Determination 2.0 work boots and I absolutely love them! They are, without hyperbole, the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned.

Customer service was also truly exceptional. I had to try several sizes to find my fit and Paulina was patient and responsive.

I thought the foot pain I was feeling was a combination of age and 40 years of standing on concrete. After seeing Caret's boots show up time and again on trusted foot ware review sites, I decided to give them a try. I started out wearing them for two hours the first day, then added an hour each day until I could wear them comfortably all day. The flexible sole, soft leather, boxed toe, make for an extremely comfortable pair of work boot. After 10 month they developed a quality issue. I contacted Caret's, and Paulina picked up the case and within a very short period of time had it resolved leaving me very happy with the outcome. Caret's proved they stand behind their products and take care of their customers.

Excellent friendly customer service. Handled returns quick and easy. The quality of the shoes is amazingly high. I have worn all kinds of high end designer shoes, and the Apollo 2.0 is the best looking dress shoe that actually feels GOOD on my feet. I wear them out dancing, walking, work occasions, everything. The company does a great job with recommendations for cedar trees and polish to protect the full grain calfskin leather. I even read online that these shoes can be resoled after a couple years when they wear down. These are my new favorite shoes that I can wear for any occasion. Dressy and comfortable. Finally a shoe that treats my feet with dignity.

Excellent Work Boots

It’s currently very difficult to find quality minimalist work boots that check all the boxes and I am finally satisfied with finding these.

Great boots, fast delivery, and awesome customer service

Only company I’ve seen as far as footwear to listen to the consumer and try to continue to upgrade their product. The boots has been everything they have promised to be.

I bought a pair of their determination 2.2 work boots, and they are fantastic! I’ve never had a pair of work boots that were wide enough to accommodate my stupidly wide feet before. It only took a couple weeks to break the boots in, and now they are more comfortable than my regular shoes!

Carets has been nothing but outstanding in my experience. I have ordered four pairs of shoes / boots from their outlet store as the prices are definitely high, but your paying for top tier high quality items. Since owning my pairs of shoes and boots from Carets I have worn them for work and personal use multiple times and had no issues. The shoes / boots are very comfortable and exactly what a minimalist barefoot dress shoe / boot should be. For all that do not know, their outlet store are used boots / shoes that have been returned and restored to almost perfect condition. One of the pairs of shoes I got did have a sticky adhesive on the inside of the shoe from a previous customer using what appeared to be a heel grip. Due to this, it rendered the shoe almost unwearable without getting the sticky adhesive on my socks. I notified Carets of this issue and they immediately remediated the problem and the customer service was 5/5 stars. I highly recomend Carets for anyone looking for the highest quality barefoot dress shoes or boots!

Initially had a challenge due to courier issues. Today I have 3 pairs and I can tell you these are by far the best pair of shoes I’ve ever invested in. I highly highly recommended these shoes

I loved the look of the shoes. Paid for expedited shipping. After multiple follow-ups and request to cancel the order, I get an email saying order is shipped. Ironically, I have not got the shipment and tracking link provided does not work at all.

Not sure if I can trust this brand

I'm actually pretty impressed by the "Zetone Plain toe Oxfords".
After a lot of trials (and errors...) finding a barefoot dress shoe, I saw Carets on I think it was Instagram and thought "why not give it a try".
The shoe that I bought appears to be sold out, but customer service handeld it well.

Of course they are a bit longer than "normal" dress shoes, which makes them a bit "clown" shoes, but its actually ok. They look pretty nice and I wear them comfortable without the feeling of being a clown.
Its a shame I cannot add a picture of the shoes during an event, so that you can see how they look. That being said, with an Italian snit, they might look a little bit bigger.

Only downside is the height. They seem to be a bit higher around the ankle, I added a cork sole and that seems to do the trick. Could dance on it the whole evening no problem.

Shipping was really fast, sizing was as with every barefoot shoe. I wear different brands (ayala, Vivo, Atalantis handmade) and its all the same size.

All in all I would recommend them.
I've bought used once or whatever, from the outlet. No visible wear or damage of any kind, perfectly good shoes for almost half the price.
