Having been a customer since 2019 the service started off well but has gone downhill significantly.
On the 30th of January I bought 4 Currys egift cards, 1 of which turned out to be utilised previously and as such no balance available to use. I contacted the team directly on support at cardyard.co.uk as I have done previously where the team has acted promptly and returned my money, yet on this occasion I was met with a significantly ineffective customer service team.
My email read "Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased the below gift cards just now to find the second of the list is utilised already. Can you please return this money to the original FOP –"
and shared a screenshot to assist. The email was sent 13 mins after I had received the vouchers and I have never in the last 4 years asked for a refund of a gift card that I have used. Nevertheless "customer support" responded with an ask to share the gift card number having been unable to understand a simple instruction of it's "the second in the list".
After responding I was then told by Demi on the 1st of Feb that an "investigation had been opened" and that they would be in touch. 3 weeks passed and not a single email was sent to communicate what is happening as cardyard looks to hope that you'll forget about the issue and they can keep the revenue despite violating the sale of goods act of selling faulty gift cards.
It was only when I emailed informing them that I would be taking them to trading standards that apparently all of a sudden on a Sunday Demi said "We have now concluded our investigation and have issued a refund to your payment card. Thank you for your patience." with money having not been received nor a mention of the processing times.
Demi states she is the customer service manager but her and the team severely lack simple skills. A call to curry's would have immediately highlighted when the gift card was used but there is no concern for customer satisfaction.
AVOID.

I was apprehensive at first but the website was very professional and guides you through every step. Order went through within a couple of minutes and I had two asda giftcards in my email (which ive already used successfully). Will be coming again!

I have been a customer with Cardyard for nearly 5 years and have made over 300 purchases buying in excess of 1000 giftcards. I recently purchased 3 Amazon giftcards and had a problem with one of them. I contacted Cardyard to investigate and was refunded within 24 hours. This is brilliant all round website where everyone benefits and the customer service is excellent.

(Update) Appears these people can never admit when they are wrong and it’s always the customer! Very poor service.
Very unreliable. At first I thought they were great! . My gift card went through fine (I was selling it) I put my correct details in the system and was told I’d be paid 8th of jan (today) I waited I was later emailed saying my details were wrong so wasn’t going through. So I emailed the company and told them I had entered the details correctly but gave them a different one instead. I was then told it was my fault as I hadn’t given my PayPal account details to them. I informed them I wasn’t asked for them only my card. The lady then admited she had got it wrong but stated I wouldn’t get my money till WEDNSDAY! Now! I told them that was totally unfair and why did I have to wait another 2 days! The lady just continued to blame me in not so many words. Told her I was sending a complaint! I wrote said complaint and guess what! The same lady emailed me back! So there isn’t any head people above her supposedly which has made me believe this site isn’t a very good one or is a scam all together! Want to prove me wrong! Pay me my money u have already sold my gift card! My details were correct! If ur system don’t accept certain banks them specify that! Not blame the customer! 😡 Not very happy and won’t be telling others to use ur site! If I don’t get my money no matter or little it is I’ll be taking it further! It’s not acceptable to rip people off

I havent got my money yet because I have to wait two weeks but instantly a buyer bought my apple gift card I trust cardyard because my friends used it and said it was a good website It was very easy to use and I dont understand why there are bad reviews.

I think cardyard is the best company for second hand gift cards. I have sold my unnecessary Apple Cards and got all the money. Great customer service as well.

I think being able to swap a voucher for something else is a great idea. However, I think the wait time of 2 weeks is excessive to be paid if you are the seller. There’s nothing stopping the buyer not using the card until after the 2-week period and the seller has been paid. I understand the buyer has 42 days in any case to use the voucher after purchase. I genuinely don't understand why you are made to wait 2 weeks to be paid. The buyer is also not under any obligation to inform Cardyard within 2 weeks before the sellers gets paid that they have used the voucher, but the seller has to wait 2 weeks for payment. Seems the payment service to the seller especially is a bit back to front. The exchange and payment to the seller could be done with being brought in the 21st century to be fair in regard to speed. Its handy to have though if you have a voucher you don't want.

Really happy with Cardyard. Have bought 8 cards from here in past year. Very easy to use. 1 card had a problem with balance which was sorted really quickly. I was not aware of the 42 day spend time so only buy when you know you will use quickly.

Sold a few gift cards on Cardyard, excellent service, yes you have to wait 14 days to get paid but that’s fine and they have paid out every single time.

I had a great experience selling my GiftCard on Cardyard. I was a bit hesitant as I had never sold a giftcard before and it was quite a high value card, but everything went smoothly and I got paid on time. What made me choose Cardyard over a very similar company was the website seemed much easier to use.
In short: 5-stars and would use again.

The website is very reassuring. I often sell cards on it and always receive the corresponding payment. I feel confident about the amounts involved; they do a great job. I have also bought The White Company cards, which saved me a lot of money. Most importantly, if there are any issues, communicating with customer service results in a quick response.

Please remove this website because it is not legal anymore! It will ripp you off and the customer service is so rude! They don't care about customers... i have been selling my gift cards for almost 2 years and now I have decided to stop it! What a scam they are! When I have 2 gift cards, I usually sell both at the same time, because in that case they will send you more money. If you send 1gift card today and 1gift card tomorrow you will get less money for your cards!!...I had complained about that to their customer service(agent Nicky - disrespectful old lady) and they pretend that everything is normal..... I sold more than 80 gift cards and this is a disgrace. They assure me that everything is alright and I know it is not because amount for the 1gift card(Uber) when you decide to sell it through paypal is 7.61£ and if you decide to sell 2gift cards at the same time you will get 16.21£ which means 8.10£ per 1 card in that case. They intentionally rescheduled my gift cards so they can pay lower amount... Agent Nicky didn't respond on my messages when she realised that they ripped me off!

Absolutely Fantastic experience! I used Card Yard because I read such good reviews on here and since I had such a good experience I thought it was only fair I should pass it along to someone else thinking of using them. I got a really lovely but large gift card a few weeks ago that I knew I was never going to spend and so I put it up on Cardyard. I did feel a bit uneasy when I had to do the verification process with them and I was slightly unsure of why they were asking so many details, but I trusted the process and I am delighted I did. The communication from them was fantastic and they delivered the money to me a day earlier than promised and earlier than the time they said they would as well! Honestly delighted and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for selling future cards and even for buying some too! Great company!
