Placed an order on Monday 29th July, and they confirmed my delivery date for Friday 2nd August. On the 2nd I went in to check delivery, the company delivering had damaged the package, not informed the Company and so no delivery. Spoiled my planned weekend as they could not now deliver until the earliest Wednesday 7th ! !. There are other sites I use Meatsupermarket, Farmison - they will now be getting my business

I bought some scotch pies from Campbells and they were delicious! I hadn’t eaten them in years and tasted exactly how I remembered them when I was a child, when I would look forward to visiting my Nan in Glasgow as she would always cook them for dinner. Some nice memories remembered!

Bought numerous times from these guys, without issue.meat products great, however the lids in the pies were separated,not all.would blame the courier for this.
But worse was the pastry was very raw.
Will not be eating them.

These pies are NOT cooked and ready to eat.
May as well buy frozen from Iceland or other outlets for a third of the price,or cooked over the counter from a supermarket, for a lot less.
By the time you go through the process of cooking Campbells will be cheaper.reading between the lines they are NOT made by Campbells but bought in.
As they said in their emails they are "FIRED" by the manufacturer.

I found this company early this year, and I have found the meat excellent, I now buy all my meat and fish from them, and the quality is excellent, and they do have offers on, which helps to budget, delivery is on time, and packed well, and arrived fresh and very cold( ice packs) I have given them 5 stars as I am very pleased with the quality and tenderness of the meat, and the fish, I would highly recommend this company as the customer service is excellent.I am a very happy customer Victoria

Top class meat! Received our order a couple of days ago in preparation for a BBQ and was not disappointed. Burgers & sausages all amazing. After trying online delivery from a number of Scottish butchers, the Ayrshire square sausage is exactly what I’ve been searching for and reminds me of breakfast from my wee granny’s. Perfect! You’ve earned yourself a loyal customer.

The meat, generally, is pretty impressive. I have had some pretty amazing stuff and the packaging and delivery is second to none.
But, the website and offers not always easy to navigate.
And have a problem, customer service , whilst quick, is pretty abysmal.
They are quick to come back with terms, conditions and how you, the customer, are wrong.
I don't like companies who think they are always right, even when they are wrong.
However good your product, if you can't get customer service right, I will not go back to them.
Plenty of good quality meat companies out there.
I thought Campbells were at the top of the grade - unfortunately they fall far short of good.

Scotch pies massed produced in a Glasgow industrial estate (Pars Foods). Haggis swimming in fat no matter how it is cooked. Place is a joke. All about a "Scottish Local Butcher" image and I consider it a total con.

When I first started my meat plan about 6 years ago, the quality was wonderful, and they had a lot of variety. These past couple of years they have had less variety, and I have often received very spoiled meat (terrible smell and slimy to the touch. I have never had this issue from any other shop, and I never leave my meat in the fridge for more than a day before consuming it or freezing it, so I know I haven’t been storing it improperly. The meat and fish that is not spoiled is of excellent quality. I’m sad that I’ve had to cancel my subscription, but I was getting tired of throwing away expensive cuts of meat. It was getting expensive and wasteful.

Completely Unreliable. Ordered a box a few weeks ago for delivery on the 28th of March, ready for the bank holiday. Payment was taken but nothing was delivered so planned bank holiday family meal is ruined. Called customer service but no one picks up. No tracking information provided either so it’s impossible to tell if they even sent the goods and with what company! Absolute shambles!

most items fine,the beef links where great,the lorne sausage far to chewy im afraid binned half of it,the steak was also lovely,the scots mince pies are allways good the burgers ive not tried yet,but they were fine last time,so only thing that lets it down is the square lorne sausage,i know its something like 68% steak,but still very chewy,and puts u off,so i wont be buying anymore 68%lorne sausage. but everything else was great.

The haggis and steak pies are my new favourite. Absolutely outstanding! The pies are well filled and with great pastry. The flavour is incredible. Also ordered Lorne sausage, mince and scotch pies all of which were great too. Everything arrived well packaged and nicely chilled. This was my first order, but I will definitely be ordering again.

Bought haggis, pies and blaggis. The haggis was a real hit with everyone commenting on its quality. The pies were good, but disappointed I found one review suggesting Campbells just get these mass made somewhere.

I ordered for christmas sausage meat for sausage rolls,cumberland sausage and chipolatas, they arrived on time and well packaged in an insulated box. Very happy with the products

Order was well packaged and sent on day that was received. The steak was top class.

My order never arrived. Despite raising this both with the courier and Campbells, nothing was done about this. No refund or redelivery was offered and after an initial courtesy email, all of my communication was ignored.

A terrible customer experience and I would strongly advise against ordering for delivery with Campbells.

I have no issues with Campbells meats and their products, they have always been good quality but after realising that my order traveled over 600 miles when I live only 50 miles from the butchers was staggering! And the response from Campbells was that it was their delivery company and not them (so no ownership) delivery went from Campbells in Linlithgow down to Birmingham and back up to my address in Scotland!!!! Wow that’s some carbon footprint. For that reason and no apparent ownership over this from Campbells I will not be using them again. I’ll try to stick to something more local which I presumed Campbells was, please be aware of possible UK tour of your meat!!

In the past few months I have ordered and received several items from Campells Prime Meat which both my wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed. However, more recently I tried to order some Ayrshire Lorne square sausage but unfortunately at the time this particular product was unavailable! So in my quest for an alternative I opted for the Steak Lorne square Sausage instead! My order arrived on time as previously informed, my product delivery was well boxed, lined with reflective insulation bubble wrap in good condition. Also included in the box was numerous frozen cool ice packs to keep the meat products in tip-top condition, cooled and fresh. lovely Jubbly! Unfortunately my wife and I found this particular meat product really not to our liking at all! This steak square sausage seemed to have far too much gristle and even small bones incorporated in some of the product slices leaving it extremely gristley and chewy to actually eat! I fully understand this finding a little gristle in sausages is normal. However, I think finding small bone in most food extreamly off putting to say the least! So unfortunately I personally won't be purchasing this particular steak lorne sausage again! This could just be a one off. Maybe it was just very badly minced? Maybe I was just unlucky that i received this particular batch of lorne sausage? However, my original choice was Campbells 'Ayrshire' lorne sausage is excellent and will definitely be ordering it again! Everything else we've received over the past few months from Campbells has been superb. :-()
