Aidan Carr / Burton Copeland LLP
I would give Aidan Carr negative star if there was one. I contacted Burton Copeland and Aidan replied to me. I introduced my case via email but he responded that before they could review my case, I have to pay £2400, in desperation I did immediately. I was hoping he would provide me a contract, or a breakdown of what service to expect from him, as least as a professional. That never happened but instead on the same day I received an email from Aidan Carr, he basically has copied and paste summary of the case. Nonetheless he got the facts of the case completely wrong, misrepresenting the issue to a direction completely irrelevant to the case. This just illustrated to me he did not take the necessary time to understand the case, review the documents, and he did not even have the courtesy to give me a telephone conversation. Instead on the same day he emailed saying I have no case and he will not be representing me. A simple telephone conversation would've gone a long way to clarify and guide him rather than going off on a completely wrong trajectory. He didn't even afford me a phone call. And for his awful service, he collected £1200.00 and refunded me the balance. I think he was very unprofessional and did a disservice to his profession. He probably just saw this as an opportunity to make a quick return without caring of the consequences to the person involve. I will be escalating my complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. I sincerely hope this isn't a true reflection of Burton Copeland LLP.
To make matter worse, same day I received his email, I replied to highlight to him the mistakes and misrepresentation, in which he replied saying my file has been closed.
