First time buying from British Hardwoods. Very pleased with the wood I received - maple & walnut. Ordered 1" but all were a little over. I thought the pricing was very reasonable as well. I will be ordering more in due course. Strongly recommended.

Great Service, great product
It's the first time I've ordered wood online as I like to see the quality of what I'm buying.
Although it took longer than expected to arrive ( I should have read the Ts & Cs) the quality of the oak was flawless.
I will definitely purchase again once I've used up this order.
Thank you.

Dear Janet
We can't be entirely sure without knowing your surname, but we think you may have ordered planed American Cherry timber from us? In the US the sapwood is classed as part of the timber and is not viewed as a defect. As such, American timbers like Cherry and Walnut can contain the some of the lighter coloured sapwood on the edges of some boards.
If you ordered planed European Oak from us, this should not have contained any sapwood.
If you'd like to discuss your order, please contact us on sales@britishhardwoods.co.uk or by calling 01535 637755.
Many thanks.
