They mixed the wrong colour again.
Unfortunately it was subtle & not noticed until it didnt fade to the correct colour(the tin has the name of the paint on so assumed it would be correct, on further inspection there is a tiny code that does not match the name of the paint). They also dont offer any guarantee of the correct mix after you have left the shop or paid(its in their terms) so now we have a cream kitchen not the shade we wanted & paid nearly £80 for the privilege. The last time I had a mix from them, my client called & said it was wrong, I assumed it was not Brewers as the can had the correct code but this second incident tells me otherwise, I think someone is looking at the wrong code on the colour chart. - Thanks for your reply, The code is on the sticker & is another cream in the crown range, it is not the base colour which is on the tin.

Very easy to buy products on line and collect in store, staff helpful and friendly.

Five star products, five star service, have recommended this company to family and friends on numerous occasions, the delivery guys are very helpful and certainly should be highly commended, amazing company all round !

Can’t fault the service - I ordered some Osmo brush cleaner at lunchtime and it was delivered that afternoon, much to my surprise!

First experience at Brewers. Absolutely first class customer service from the start (selecting paint samples) to finally collecting my order. Great 20% discount too with Brewers card. Online, Shipping and delivery were great, very friendly chap who delivered. However a very rude lady in the shop as i questioned the price of the wallpaper (£84 or £126 a roll), she initially said the price list hadn't been changed, then said the price didn't include VAT (which it did), she reluctantly sold the paper at the price in the book, but was not nice to the gentleman on the till, in front of myself which is not very professional or acceptable and i felt for him. When asked about the recommended past to go with the paper, her reply was simply 'paste is over there'. I was disappointed with this service, particularly as i have the whole of my property to decorate, following a lot of work and thought Brewers could have been a great place to shop, unfortunately she has made me question this.

Very helpful lady. Guided us through the wallpaper books and helped us make an informed choice.

Really great service from Brewers York. Have been in several times recently to have paint mixed, buy decorating supplies etc. The staff there are always friendly, helpful and offer great advice. Went in this morning and ordered, amongst other items, some fence paint which we fully expected to have to wait for as it was in their Leeds branch: got a call this afternoon to say it's ready for collection (super speedy service). Brewers York is my go-to for decorating supplies now.

I am a painter and decorator and I recently made an order at brewers on Monday the 11th, I got so much paint and materials when I was in and then had to put the rest on backorder. I was told I could call in after Wednesday and pick it up, so I went in on Thursday and nothing, wasted an hour of my morning driving through for it. I was then told it will be there Friday and they will deliver it for me, Friday came around and nothing, so I rang and they said Monday. I rang again Monday they said it might be on the order and if it is they will send it out. Again, nothing. I rang again Tuesday morning to be told that it hasn't arrived and won't be on the delivery today and it might not even be in tomorrow for sure. All the time my customer was complaining about it blaming me and saying how unprofessional it is if I can't even get paint, and I was getting to the point in the job I couldn't carry on without it so I had to cancel my order with brewers and had to drive up to Darlington to get the paint I needed as that was the nearest place that had it and without it the job was at a standstill so it cost me 60odd miles of fuel and 2 and a half hours of lost time on the job I'm not getting paid for. I got the paint back to the job only to realise that the colour brewers sold me on my initial order which I got on the day was totally incorrect when I saw the colour it was actually supposed to be and when in brewers they said they could match the farrow and ball colour perfectly but it doesn't match at all, and I was refused a refund by the manager because I had already opened the tin and used some, so now I am stuck with a £76 tin of paint that is neither use nor ornament. Overall I am really not happy and will never use brewers again. It has effected my ability to get repeat work with this customer. I strongly recommend trade customers do not use brewers, might be fine for casual customers or DIYers but too unreliable for business use
