Although I had chosen the wrong colour online, the in-shop staff kindly agreed to modify it on the spot, with a great result for my painting job at home.

Bought some wallpaper from this shop, the staff are friendly & helpful. Especially Simon who really took the time out to help me with the wallpaper and give me advice. Great customer service skills. Thankyou.

We recently went to your Hillingdon Branch to buy paint for our sitting room walls. We requested soft sheen finish from the Farrow and Ball range in Blue Green. The paint supplied was in eggshell finish, mixed at the store (a very costly purchase) so imagine our disappointment when we applied it to the walls to find it very shiny, almost plastic in it's finish. Totally unsuitable. Cannot return for a refund as it is mixed, returned to the store to see what we could do to be told that the paint they had supplied was suitable for metal and woodwork NOT WALLS!! Still refused refund. Sold us a second tin which we asked to be in soft sheen finish and once again they have supplied eggshell!!! When we called today the member of staff by the name of Simon was rude, overbearing, talked over us and refused to accept any responsibility for supplying the wrong paint. He was arrogant and self righteous in the extreme, not a shred of 'customer service' just a constant argument. He spoke to my husband as if he was stupid, saying that he had what he had asked for! Why would anyone ask for more of the wrong paint!! We are now seriously out of pocket and have no paint to complete our sitting room. Appalling lack of decency or service. We are disgusted and will never buy from them again.

Your response was exactly as expected. At no point were we told the paint was more suited to wood and metal. Of course he would deny our reasons for complaint. There is zero excuse for his appalling lack of customer service skills and bad manners. He needs retraining in that area at least. Your support of his actions tells us all we need to know about your company.

I have used brewers the last couple of weeks a very polite young man called malachy served us he was very efficient well mannered and nothing was too much trouble for him it was refreshing to have him helping us a real asset to your shop
