The goods could not be delivered to store as per the timescale given at point of web order. Unfortunately there was no leeway in required date so order had to be cancelled and fufilled by Amazon who were able to deliver within 15 hours of order. I would rather use local companies but the goods need to be available. Refund was sorted without fuss so a plus here, staff wondered why they not been able to fulfil the order as the products were in Frinton I believe and were due to be collected when they arrived in Chelmsford. This did not appear to be any fault of Chelmsford store.

I visited the Chelmsford store the other day to buy two lots of paint but one was out of stock. The assistant check stock levels at other branches for me AND knocked a fiver off the bill to "cover my petrol". How good is that?

Ordered two testers online - after hearing nothing for a week I thought I would call - got told they were were waiting for collection. Nobody had bothered to let me know. When we went in to collect we were told actually only one tester was ready as they needed to order something else to mix the other tester- they hadn’t bothered ordering in the week that they had the first tester just sat there. Again another week went by and I heard nothing again I had to call them and got told again it was ready for collection!! No finally have both testers but won’t be bothering to order the full size paint from them.

The team are always super helpful in here no matter what your need or experience level!
