I am renovating a 250 y/o property and the chaps in Brewers have been so helpful. Always sharing their knowledge and experience.

Ordered paint online. It didn't arrive within the specified time, and it turns out they gave me a 10L tub of Light Base rather than the the tinted colour I ordered. Not impressed.

We have long been customers of Brewers and value their sound advice. However, following an issue with a paint we had bought (not their fault), they looked into the matter, immediately offered a solution and gave us replacement paint, free of charge. We really cannot fault the service of Steve and the rest of the team. Thank you all so much!

The staff in my local Bury St Edmunds branch are always friendly & helpful. They are knowledgeable & professional & always ready to offer advice & suggestions about which product to use for a particular job. They work as a very effective team, each knowing who the best person is to advise on something so if the person you ask thinks their colleague will know better than themself they will get the right person to talk to you. That shows a high level of teamsmanship and builds trust with customers who feel reassured that they’ll walk away having got the most useful advice on which product to buy &/or how to do the job. I haven’t found this level of customer service & care in many other places which is the main reason why I will return to Brewers time & again even though I can probably find alternative products online or elsewhere cheaper, but not the same consistently high quality of course. Thank you to the BSE team for their friendly & professional service & continuing commitment to their company & customers alike. Good to see that there are still some good, solid, traditional standards out there.

First time shopper used Internet for first order. Several tins of paint three of which were in one box and no packaging therefore very dented in travel. None of our tins of mixed paints had the colour on!
We took the whole lot to our local Brewers centre who were absolutely A1 Steve and Chris could not have been more helpful, brilliant nothing was too much trouble above and beyond.
Would I use Brewers online again? Absolutely not.
Would I use Brewers Bury St Edmunds store? Absolutely 💯 yes.

Helpful staff, excellent service

The staff at the store were particularly helpful with a return, but online ordering was not so good. On the item ordered it was advertised as next day delivery, but the order confirmation stated 5 days, which was annoying as I part through a job.

Good price and availability

Quick delivery to my chosen collection point. I’d ordered a hard to find product, so very pleased to be able to source it locally. Very friendly staff at Bury St Edmunds outlet.

Outstanding service from Steve at the Bury St Edmunds store. My online click & collect order was delayed. From the moment I contacted the store & spoke to Steve he assured me he would chase it up & keep me updated. He did this daily until it arrived a few days later. Brewers, you’re lucky to have Steve, that type of personal service is very rare nowadays!
