The lady that served me, who was called Claire was really helpful and knowledgeable about the products and services on offer and she was able to match the paint in the tin that I had even though the label was unreadable.

Your assistant Catherine was amazing, extremely knowledgeable about your products. She was patient and very helpful.

I have experienced rude, arrogant and patronising service from the male manager at Burgess Hill Brewers on two occasions now. The last time was so awful that I don't want to go back there to shop for paint. The manager and his equally surly, sour, unhelpful colleague (tall lady) really should NOT BE WORKING IN RETAIL AND DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS! It is astounding that people with so little customer relations or any ounce of charm are running a shop dealing with people all day long. Not only was the manager rude, he was completely in the wrong but would not admit it, and told me to come back tomorrow. When I explained it was his staff member's mistake, he got in an enormous huff and stormed off! The lovely young woman that eventually sorted out the problem was so helpful and in complete contrast to her awful boss. Another young woman that had served me the day before was also equally helpful and friendly, so it seems that it is just the awful manager and the tall woman that are really letting down the shop. I have been to many other Brewers shops over the years and the staff are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. In fact the Burgess Hill manager seems to have very little actual paint knowledge, it turns out he gave me wrong information about paint on two occasions! So disappointing and frustrating, and not what you expect from the Brewers brand.

Not much to say- I wanted Wallrock lining paper, you had it, I bought it and you told me it was ready. Customer service was nothing less than what should be expected.
I completed this review having been approached by numerous retailers to see how they performed. Just feeling tired of doing reviews even for simple purchases where no real customer service is involved

Applied for the 20% discount membership as regularly buy Farrow & Ball paint. Ordered on line without discount as still hadn’t come through, on line order processed during office hours so delayed and then promised a phone call when ready for collection. That didn’t happen as rang Brewers only to be told it came in previous day! My decorator went into another job, so not a great experience.

I was told that you did not stock smaller cans of the product I was looking for, but I found it on-line!

Excellent product at a competitive price and in stock. Reserved and picked up within 24 hours. Highly recommend.

Popped in with no clue what I actually needed but after a quick chat with Claire I left with all the answers! Really helpful and I will be back very soon when we move on to the next room.

Recently been into the shop to purchase stock for upcoming jobs, Claire was so helpful and knowledgable it made everything so much easier I couldn’t recommend Claire enough incredible friendly service and I will certainly be back. Thanks Claire!!
